The easyJet: Travel App mobile app has a variety of features that make it easy for users to plan and manage their travel. Users can easily search for and book flights, as well as check in and download boarding passes directly from the app. The app also allows users to manage their bookings, including making changes or adding extras such as luggage or seat upgrades.
Additionally, the app provides real-time flight information and updates, including notifications for any changes or delays. Users can also access their easyJet Plus account and benefits through the app, as well as track their easyJet flights using the live tracking feature.
How to Use
Using the easyJet: Travel App mobile app is simple and intuitive. After downloading the app, users can easily create an account or log in with their existing easyJet credentials. From there, they can start searching for flights by entering their travel details and preferences.
Once a flight is selected, users can proceed to booking and payment, as well as accessing their boarding passes and additional travel information. The app also provides easy access to managing bookings and making any necessary changes or updates.
Pros & Cons
One of the main advantages of the easyJet: Travel App mobile app is its user-friendly interface and convenience. The app makes it easy for users to book and manage their travel, as well as stay updated on their flight status and any changes.
However, some users may find the app to be limited in terms of additional features or customization options. Additionally, the app may be less effective in areas with limited internet connectivity, making it difficult to access real-time flight information.

For a very longtime I was resisting using EasyJet as I thought services will be bad. Since just over one year, I flew about 12 flights, I am very pleased. The online booking and changing system is very easy and flexible. I was able to change not just time but also destination! Checking in system at airport is very easy, as GatwickExpress and Gatwick airport security are well organized. Service on board is proactive and energetic! Really highly recommended.
Used to like this app, could do everything conveniently in one place. Then they completely ruined it with an update in Oct 2024, but half a year later they seem to have fixed most of the broken things: I can again see my boarding passes, can follow the airplane through the flightradar, and it is all well. Struggling to trust it will stay so, but hope for the best.
I’d never flown Easy Jet before - let’s face it, their press hasn’t always been upbeat. But this app and the intuitive feel they have for their customers needs has really impressed me. It really couldn’t be much easier. I get that every add-on costs a little extra but in terms of offering up different options, it’s brilliant and puts the bigger carriers to shame. Nice one, Easy Jet.
I have purchased a larger size hold bag which is not listed on the boarding pass. I have had to put my personal details in 3 times. When on a chat I was asked for my booking reference number which caused me to have to end chat to locate it. The second chat then refused to continue the chat as I had already spoken to someone else. I was told that I had to start a new chat in the next hour. I think your customer service is dreadful. Speaking to an actual human being would have made this process much “EASIER” and my information would have been correct. I have paid the additional £48 for larger hold bag but it doesn’t show up on my boarding pass. Can’t wait to get to the airport and be told I have too heavy a hold bag even though I have paid you for it.
It's not bad but I will admit it could do with some extra functonality like using NFC to read your passport details and add them in to the app instead of manually adding them.
I've used this quite a few times now. It's OK. It does make life easier with paperless tickets but the navigation is poor in quite a few screens. My real bugbear with this is that it will update you on the gate your plane is leaving. But....Only if the airport supports it. When I was flying from Glasgow I saw the flight was delayed, went for a coffee, expecting the app to inform me when the flight was assigned a gate. It didn't. I missed my flight! 2 days before, it worked at Bristol
My issue is that the app keeps crashing on my phone. So, every time I'm trying to book flights, I can get right thru, almost to the end, and it closes. And it doesn't remember where I was! I've checked that I'm using the most updated version, and I am. I've turned my phone off and on 🙄 ... and checked other obvious things. I'm a regular flyer from Luton to Faro. There are no issues checking in or choosing flights. It's specifically the app crashing which annoys me!!
Update Oct 24: well they have pretty much destroyed the improvements over the past couple of years, which had left a pretty good app. A near invisible typeface, multiple clicks to see details on itineraries, doesn't pick up flight on day of travel so have to enter manually. Now even uses Google Wallet to store boarding cards which don't even show the date. Update Nov 22: still blocks relatively recent versions when wanting you to update. Shouldn't have released this version.
pretty awful. it's drop down selection but then the keyboard pops up every time you go to make your selection, blocking half the screen. no option to share your boarding passes with your travel partner. edit: they cancelled my flight. when I tried to reschedule it to a different flight it said no seats available. but I could buy seats for that flight through a browser. so the app also lies. terrible company
Apparently even if you are first one at the counter and at the gate they won’t issue you a seat unless you checked in online. Even though you PURCHASED a ticket well in advance. I didn’t know this as I am from the USA and was traveling for a quick family visit to Europe. I didn’t have WiFi and couldn’t have checked in but figured there shouldn’t be an issue if I get to the airport early enough WRONG!!! They make you sit in the corner like a dog and watch as everyone board the plane and say only then they will let you know if you have room on the plane as they try to over book every flight. I asked them to make an announcement like Delta and any other airline would do because I payed for my ticket like everyone else and I would miss my connection to the USA but they said “we don’t do that. Never flying with them again
neither mobile website nor the app are functioning properly. session times out error within +- 10 sec. using WiFi or 5g > same issue. changing DNS or turning it off > same issue. trying different browser (Firefox/chrome) > same issue. only desktop website seems to be working.
I am unsure why morality is disregarded in the airline industry. Alas it’s all too common. I booked a flight with a friend for 9 am and received a text saying it was cancelled at 7 am the day of the flight with no explanation whatsoever. Unfortunately my friend had already left for the airport in a 50$ taxi only to require another one home because he didn’t receive the message. I was offered a refund or to switch my flight. Yet somehow (magic I presume) the switch flight option had an error message. Under a time crunch I couldn’t wait for hours with customer service so I bought a flight later in the day for triple the price I paid originally. Then a refund of the original ticket never even occurred. Hi Danny, Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're dissatisfied with your easyJet experience. For this particular issue, we would recommend that you contact our Customer Service Team: https://www.easyjet.com/en/help/contact, who will hopefully be able to assist you further. Many thanks, easyJet Mobile Team
App and site are not letting me check in. I put in all the passport details and after I submit it just goes back to the "please add API details". When I checked my daughter in with UK passport it didn't even ask for the details. Last week I had to sit 10 minutes in a chat with a customer service person who had to put the details in for me. Very frustrating. Is there an issue with non UK passports now?
This used to be such a great app, but now it's glitchy, unreliable and unusable. I haven't been able to book a flight or check-in using the app for about a year now as it the "There's been a problem, Refresh page" error message pops up every 3 seconds making it impossible to complete anything. Please, please, please sort this out!
what happened to this app? booking a flight has never been such a frustrating task. As a lowcost airline, there are so many steps before going to the payment page. do you want bags? do you want a car? do you want hotels? are you sure you are happy with baggage? this is normal, but the problem is that all of these steps take AGES to load. so i had to cancel the booking because it was taking too long and it was too frustrating!
I can't login to my account or change details e.g. password. App is useless. Can't view boarding passes. Drop down menu doesn't work, if I select something it momentarily appears before going back to home page. So infuriating 😡 I have zero confidence in this company now.
It crashes constantly when you try to change a flight. It says "no flights available, select another date" for all the dates or sometimes a Java exception appears in the message. The app hasn't been properly tested before releasing it to customers. Improve it please.
The app is really confusing when first used because of the way it does (or actually doesn't) store boarding passes. If you check-in several days before your flight, download boarding passes and then logout of the app the boarding passes are lost. So when you login again you have to press CHECK-IN again to download boarding passes. Also it doesn't appear that you can share boarding passes with other people in your party. So they all need a smartphone and access to your Easyjet account. Very poor.
Bugs on app that prevent you from checking in (within Android app). Even on the web, my check in failed. useless and waste of time. Constant need to enter passport details, at least i know my passport number by heart now). Recently, EasyJet has been modifying the price shown in the basket when you are about to purchase the ticket. Most of the time, the price increases. This is deceiving practices and I will start looking elsewhere.
Jeez, the new version is seriously bad!! It feels like your using their desktop website on a mobile app. The screens are cluttered, the flight tracker doesn't automatically take you to your flight on departure day, checking in is a horrible process, there's an annoying splash screen when you open it, no dark mode. It used to be an amazing app, now it's gone completely backwards! How is that even possible!? Please revert to the old version!
The last two flights I've been unable to check in.....error keeps appearing. I had to check in at the airport last month....meaning getting their earlier and missing breakfast at my hotel. I'm trying to check in for a flight a week today, same issue. Useless! I've used Chrome, used numerous devices, uninstalled the app, and reinstalled it...same rubbish. Spent over two hours on the phone to Easyjet Plus and Easyjet flight club. the same error appears, and they can't resolve it.
The new app is terrible, the check in is basically an embedded browser giving a aweful experience. Every time you check in you have to reenter your phone number. You get useless notification about your flight 2 days before like: "to get notification about your flight, install the app" really? Now you cannot even open the standard easyjet website because the app captures it and then it shows an error.
I've been using the easyJet app and it was great until the last upgrade. My main usage was to navigate back and forth between the boarding pass and the flight tracker about 1 tap away. But now the boarding pass does not appear anymore, it's stored in another app (Wallet)... WHY? This is a stupid move in terms of user experience, please bring the boarding pass back into the easyJet app.
The old App was a well polished, slick, easy user experience. The new App is sluggish, counter-intuitive, and honestly just flat out broken. easyJet, if you care a jot about your customer experience, please roll back the app to the old version because the current experience is terrible.
As opposed to some other airlines' apps, easyJet's does not store previous bookings. It is impossible to retrieve old boarding passes if needed for proof of travel. Many institutions, especially in France where I live and work and where easyJet has a significant presence, require not just the booking confirmation with the receipt but also copies of the boarding passes in order to reimburse travel expenses. People who rely upon this app will find themselves unable to be reimbursed in such circumstances.
