I literally love resding up here but one thing is why can't we have private reading lists. I'm sure there are people who want others to read their favorite stories but some of us would like to use it so we can search through our library better there's a lot of people who'd like private reading lists so I think it should really be a thing.

I’ve had this app for over two years now, and I haven’t thought to write a review until now. It has so many amazing books, some have been published as actual books, some just written for fun. You can completely enjoy it with some short adds or you can pay for premium and get no adds and a few different features. I’ve had it for so long, and sadly can’t do premium, even though it is pretty inexpensive; but it’s still an amazing experience. There are also some stories that you have to use coins for, and you can buy coins or get three a day by watching videos, and each chapter is three coins. There are so many more books that are completely free though, so paying isn’t required at all. I also love having the comments on each paragraph of the story and being able to share my thoughts and read others opinions on the books. The one and only complaint that I have is that there isn’t a feature to like a comment on a book. I’ve seen a few people who have the same problem, we don’t want to comment on something, we just want to let them know that their comment made us laugh. It’s a very small complaint though, and it doesn’t affect the experience on Wattpad. All in all, this app is great for exploring books, and writing as well. It’s very easy write and publish chapters and books on the app. It’s perfect for writers who just want to have some fun or who want to explore an interest in writing. Would 100% recommend this to all book lovers and writers.

This is an awesome app to read stories and fanfics, but the one thing at the moment that I don’t like is the new limit to read offline without premium. I liked how before you could read any story offline, but you couldn’t update the new chapter, but it’s better then having a limite on stories to read and sometimes get to read the story if they did update a new chapter without internet. I would like it if wattpad were to take away the limitation on offline stories, for its better that way and I can read more when I’m on a business trip or on an airplane I can read lots of stories without limitations. I have had this app for maybe 2 years and I never had a complaint, but with the limited offline stories it had caused me some troubles, also once I was in a business trip and I went to read and there was no internet connection or anything. But I had my offline books and one of them updated, though the thing was I couldn’t read it and it told me I have to have an internet connection to upload the new chapter, which irritated me cause this was supposed to be an offline story that I can read without anything and after that I couldn’t read until 2 hours later once I got internet. In a couple of day I will be traveling and some parts of the place that I’m going does not have internet connection, but I want to still be able to read, but I can’t afford premium so I’m just asking please get rid of the limited offline books they’re troublesome.

alright, i’ve had this app since 2013 and let me start this review by saying it’s definitely not the same as the old version. the changes aren’t too bad, once you get used to the adds that pop up every so often when you’re reading a story. they can get annoying and more consistent the longer you read, but again, you get used to them after a while. if not, just pay for premium (i actually wouldn’t recommend getting premium unless you’re REALLY bothered by the adds). overall this app is great. if you want to write a story, it’s not hard trying to figure out what specific buttons you’ve got to press in order to pick your story’s cover, select tags, add a new chapter and so on. i do have to warn you though, the app is known to crash when you’re in the middle of writing a chapter and deleting all of that progress you made, so be careful with that. getting your story views isn’t that difficult either, unless you’re a new author but even then your story will eventually get viewers. wattpad’s also a great app to make friends and find mutuals too. over the years i’ve met a lot of nice people, and gotten myself more than a lot of followers. you don’t need followers though, you can simply use wattpad to read, find friends, or do your own thing. it doesn’t matter if you’re trying to find a story of a specific fandom/an original story, wattpad’s perfect to pass time. so yes, i recommend it, regardless of the few problems it has occasionally.

i use wattpad to read fanfics and then never disappoint me. i have had this app for over a year now and i love it. i read a story almost every night before i go to bed. another factor i would like to mention is that it has grown my love for reading. before i had wattpad i didn’t read at all. now that i got it i have started to gain a soft spot for reading and i can read much faster. yes there are ads but only after every so chapters. Therefore, it doesn’t effect your reading time really. like it’s not right in the middle of a chapter when an ad shows up. neither are they long ads. i think the longest an ad was that i had was about 40seconds which is a nice amount to time. and if you never had wattpad before then i would like to mention that there isn’t only fanfics. there are also really cool stories with endless categories. they scare from fluff to romance(they go further than that but young people don’t need to know that). and one last cool thing about the app is that all the stories are written by random people. they aren’t written by people like Will Hobbs or Mr. O’Brien(both famous authors) but they are written by a person that barely anyone know. and if you want to you can wright a story too. i myself haven’t written one but that is only because i don’t want to wright i’m more of a reader but anyway i think you should get this app. but just be ready for some really funny people on the comments of stories lol.

I love Wattpad so, so, so much and am even an author of a couple of books. I’ve been on this app for like four years now and it has made my life so much better and enjoyable. I love how in the library you can have as much books as you want and being able to comment on stories and to message authors and all the other stuff. Each update of Wattpad was better than be next. I love the most recent update because it makes everything look so organized but.... I have a concern. You see, before this update, I was able to access any book easily offline as long as it was in my library. But now, the new update only allows to have two books offline and it seems sort of unfair to me. I can still read but I don’t feel that much joy as I used to feel. To have more offline books, you have to have the premium plan and sadly, I cannot afford that as I already have to much things to take care up. With this review, I plead that you try to fix Wattpad as to get rid of only having two boos offline without premium to change so that Wattpad users are able to read any book on their library offline and to be able to see their updates. This is the concern I have to address. I hope someone sees this and is able to take my concern into consideration and fix Wattpad. For feedback from others, this pretty much is similar to what most of the Wattpad users that I know said when I asked them.

I love the most recent update of watching ads to get 3 ad skips. Yes, 1 ad skip is used after every chapter, but I'm able to stack the ad skips, and I love it. while I watch a movie or something, I can just get the ads playing on my phone so I can read later. I love that the skips don't expire or go away if you exit the app. Another thing I love about the app it that if you open it and are on your main page area, not sure what to call it, it always recommends new stories with your favorite ship

Ads can be a pain, but otherwise I find it a good app. You can find practically anything you want to read about; and you can publish your own stories for others to enjoy. plus, you can read stories offline or online. besides from ads popping up, I also dislike when even if you log into a previous account, it will still ask about settings and stuff that pop up while you're reading.

I absolutely love this app. I have had it for years. I have downloaded many other reading apps and deleted them. i stay with wattpad because it has loads of books to read , it has books you can pay for and books that are free. So if you don't have the money, you can still read. Other apps don't give that they make you pay for chapters. Wattpad is awesome

I really like the option of getting 3 ad skips per 1 ad, but I'm been running into problems with it. I would be reading a chapter and I would get a notification that says I have one left even though I watched like 5 ads and got around 15 of them. And also I ran into another problem today. My ad skips randomly disappeared not even 3 chapters into the book I was reading and I had freaking 16 of them and used only 2. But overall, great app with great mechanisms.

It's mobile wattpad. But I seriously undrestimated the monitization they added. After evrry chapter, regardless of length, an ad will play. One that you can't even back out of, if say, *you miss-scroll to the following chapter. Then, if you intuitively scroll up, it'll play ANOTHER unavoidable ad. And, after the ad plays, it will give you a popup for premium. I don't know if writers are getting credits or compensation for that, but I hope they are.

The app is great for reading fanfics and other stories. However, there's too many ads. I get every single ad every time I complete reading a SINGLE chapter. It's really annoying, and I do not want to waste $60 on just a year of ad free. I would suggest reducing the number of pop-up ads when reading chapters . For example, an ad shows up after reading around 5-7 chapters. I don't see a reason as to why there should be an ad after reading a single chapter.

I lve had this app for years now and only thing I have to say is there's to many ads and I miss the number of offline books you can read. The ads don't make it enjoyable anymore and have become quite annoying and bothersome. not what it used to be. it's still a good platform, I enjoy the books I find and love that you can publish your own work onto the platform and get good feedback here and there. but like I said, the ads are just ruining it for me so I have to give it 3 ⭐

I've been using wattpad for roughly 7 years now and it's slowly yet progressively getting worse. The ads are out of control. I miss the version with only occasional ads in between chapters, now it's every single chapter and sometimes you have to sit and watch three. Years ago every book used to be available to read it without wifi and how that's been limited significantly. This app now is just money hungry. On the bright side there's a lot of good books available to read and easy to publish

I love the app because of the stories and all that, but there are so many ads it gets annoying. There's one after every chapter, and it glitches sometimes, so it'll reshow you one. And the ad skip things are nice when they actually work. I've watched the ad for them, and sometimes it'll still show me one, or it just won't work after I watch the ad.

I've had this issue for a LONG time, but when I stop typing for a while, Wattpad will go all the way to the bottom of a chapter I'm editing and then change the formatting. by changing the paragraph from left to right to the middle, and it's becoming increasingly irritating and making the app very difficult to deal with and is discouraging writing. I'm unsure if it's the device I'm using, but either way, it's harming my experience using the app.

I enjoy wattpad. Books are engaging and comments are fun. Ads aren't annoyingly repetitive (unless you're reading a book with short chapter, then it gets annoying.) My problem is editing your books. Recently, when I try to update a draft it takes me to a loading screen. If I do get on, I can't publish the part. It's really annoying! It's like a roulette on whether you're going to be able to write or not. Please fix this! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it hasn't worked.

Love the app but man are the glitches the worst. I haven't used the app much the past many months because of it. When scrolling and reading it will randomly glitch out and I have to exit the whole app and re enter, once I'm back to my book im on like 2-3 chapters prior and have to find my spot again. Usually by that point its glitching again. Not very enjoyable when you can read 1 sentence a minute if you're lucky.

I have had this app since 2018. It used to have so little adds that it was user friendly and that we didn't have to by book. The recommendation for books we might like doesn't have book that I would read. It's supposed to be based on what we read. Its ridiculous the amount of adds that appears. They only appeared relatively often, now they appear all the time. Now if you accidentally scroll to the next chapter you can't go back without watching another add. I loved this app because it's free.

Gone Downhill I used to really like this app but it has gone so downhill. At one point all my archived stories had been removed. With ads anymore you have to exit out of them 3 time before they actually close, and no I don't want to pay to remove them. If I did I would seek that option out myself. The exclude filtering is limited. I see the same suggested stories over and over. You get logged out randomly and told to reset your password.

As a long-time user, I think it's heinous that the coins you earn expire that fast. Before, at least you could keep them for longer. What's the point in collecting coins? I mean, you can't even collect them anymore, truly. They really took the only method of getting coins without paying away. They just want more money out of you!!! I don't want to play a game to get them and want to keep my coins I do earn when watching ads for a while longer like before. I'm so frustrated.

I must say I deeply love this app for writing stories and reading. However, I hate the fact that there's 3 ads everytime I go to another chapter and I hate those ads cause whenever I try to press the X button, those stupid ads bring me to their website or the app store when I wanted to get out of the ad, not get the app. This app used to not have many ads, it's stupid, it makes me want to delete this app, as the ad skipping does work but once I stop using it, it floods me with more ads

Ads skip and text-to-speech, let talk wattpad. I love this app. It is a way to just lay down and listen to the books. I also like the new ads skip, but my ads skip and text-to-speech apparently hate each other. If I use the skip, it cuts my speech off around a quarter way to the end. I thought it was me, but I have tried everything since the first update with ads skip, including change device and internet. Ads skip is not for people who want to listen and enjoy their books.

I've been using the app since 2016, that's almost 10 years, recentl most recently the books that I read in the past few days were suddenly removed. most of them were recently updated in the last week or two. I have good cellular data and wifi connection. but it doesn't matter if im on wifi or not, it takes a while to load the book. the worst of it is when it says the book/page can no longer be found. can someone tell me is there a glitch in the system? I also pay for a premium membership

I love this app, but over time it has gotten quite annoying with all the ads, at first I was ok with the ads in-between the chapters but its now ridiculously that their are adds below where the story it, making it completely distracting to read without seeing this moving add at the bottom. Other than that wattpad is a great place to read and create stories.

I am beyond frustrated. I've been trying to write a story for months, but have been facing constant set backs due to this app's inability to save progress. Even if I spam the save option, I get an error telling me that it failed to save the section. edit: I would give negative stars if I could. Wattpad logged me out of my account and deleted all of my drafts. 5 months of work, all gone. Do not download.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with Wattpad. for a few days I was having trouble to access many things in the app,and they're showing "connectivity issues" when my network is working fine, yesterday I couldn't access the next chapter of a book I was reading,I made a report to the team they told me to log out or uninstalling the app and try again. I did. and now my library is empty, every book I try to open or anything I try to do in the app, after buffering "unable to load" 😓

So, I've been usin' Wattpad for four years, and I've never had any problems 'till last year. My pop-up notifications are gone, they won't show up. When this happened last year, all I had to do was log out and log back in. Now that doesn't work and I have to guess when I get a notification. Give me my notifications back, Wattpad it's *not* that difficult!

Two many ads !!!! This app has way too many ads. And then they tell you if you don't want ads to go for there premium membership. But that's a scam and hard to get rid of. I literally had to block them with my bank after sending emails telling them that because there premium membership didn't work for me I'd like to cancel it. The only. Good thing about it is that there are some decent reads on wattpad. To add I would love a refund for the membership that I wasn't able to use.

Recently, I reinstalled the wattpad app after some time and it is not working at all. I am not able to access any of the stories. After selecting any story it just keeps on loading and nothing opens. Application has clearly become useless as I am unable to access anything. I am not even able to access my previously added books in the library.
