I use it every day, its the best reader you can get, its the actual only reason I havent switched from android to apple. unfortunately there are some... math? code logic? issues. for example, if I read 25% of a book in 3 hours you would expect it to say 9-10 hours left in the book. but it will say 52 hours left. I cannot fathom where that number comes from. the calendar can mess up. reading words per minute is not very accurate. - as a place to read, its still the best
This is an excellent reading app, but I have become more and more frustrated with the lack of library management. I would like to be able to add books to user defined collections (e.g. sci-fi, historical fiction, self-help, history), a to-read list, and a way to mark that you've finished an ebook. As it is, it's too easy for ebooks to get lost in your collection.
its the best reader around, although there a lots of options which can be daunting at first. I have this application on all my devices. You never know when you'll need to wait. Easy to sync your reading to other devices, except when it doesn't work, like it did last night, after they pushed 10.5, which broke google drive. Maybe they'll fix it. Maybe not.Not going to update the other devices.
The reading functionality is great. The customization allows me to get a book's text to look exactly the way I want, but... Why does this still not work with folder-specific access? I don't want any app to have permission to do anything outside of the relevant data location/s. This doesn't need access to anything on my device besides a books/ dir and it's own app data. I use it on a tablet with nothing else, but I can't use it on my phone because I won't give it "read all" access.
Great app, but wish it had a book series and number option so that on the bookshelf page you could click on the series and take you to the spot that you had left off at in the series. My shelf is quite full with long series and this would make it a little more convenient. Edit: Seven years later, and this is still my go to e-reader
