You don't have to remember anymore pin or dial in... just a one button conference call, and with dial back enabled, so when the conference start you get a pop up on your pc asking to join. You can tell people you're few minutes late.. And the phone calls through data is fantastic.. switching from mobile network takes a fraction of a second... and I was able to be in the call in challenging situation like high speed train at 300km/hour! Amazing

Wonderful business application which I think is first in business apps that provides message sending feature even when the recipient is offline. Its simple to use and connects seamlessly with phone, laptop, desktop devices. As a downside, the conversation history and search of chats and texts is bad and not effective. 5star will be given if they make it easy

When starting a new message, I typically type the name of the person/group I want to message in the “to” field. The mobile app suggests everyone in my Exchange contact list - my company has abt a million employees in contact. So, “john” gets me abt 200 results. The app already knows the “john”s I have historically messaged, the ones I regularly message, and the one(s) I have favorited. Yet, it doesn’t use any of this info to improve suggestions, which is critical for mobile apps because we tend to use the mobile app (instead of desktop app) when traveling, in a hurry, etc. It’s been like this for years and I was hoping they’d fix it. Disappointing UX.

The video conferencing stuff works decently. That’s important. The notifications don’t work right, and the app regularly shows stale/outdated/incorrect conversation and contact information. Notifications are one of those really important things for a chat app, and they’re just quite broken in the iOS app. Hope this gets prioritized. The group chat rooms are pretty functional and have a good selection of features. Not too many to be confusing/hard to navigate - and not too few to be lacking in utility.

App is functionally well and doesn’t have any major bugs. however given the iPad is now used extensively for business work, it would be great to have features similar to desktop like the ability to attach files which is very important differentiator for chime

It keeps logging people out when it is not necessary, like after updating or when on holiday, being unable to log back in until they reach the Amazon network (or having an Amazon business laptop). Ideally, there will be a countdown from when a person was connected to an internal network last time (e.g. 35 days), then you can ask users to login again. There is definitely a lack of experience and ideas from these "developers" today.

very bad way to get communication, to attach pictures must do picture by picture, can't send audios... must to use it but don't like it

Trying to use the Android app (or mobile webpages) for conference calls is an exercise in futility. The chime app is much better on a laptop, but it's not always feasible to use a laptop on the go to watch presentations. - Requires egregious permissions to manage phone calls and logs (even through web conferencing) - Does not support Bluetooth Headsets so you have to listen on speakerphone - Chime does not allow joining via mobile browser so there's no workaround

For some reason many of the words in the app are cut off. For example the button that should be listed as "done" is "don", "schedule" is schedul" and so on. these are built into the app and I see no way to change it but it also affects what I type in my chat groups and cuts the words off there as well. Considering I have to use this for work it's extremely inconvenient let alone not professional. Other than that the app is alright. It functions as a very bare bones communication app.

Chime has long way to go compared to offerings from Zoom, Skype, or even WhatsApp. In the past voice quality was below par, now that it is better the video side of things are below par. From features side, seeing multiple people sharing video is difficult on the phone app. When multiple people are switching videos, the app annoys by bringing up a popup “share video, or skip” every time someone else starts sharing video. If I’m on video tab and the popup cannot come, the app crashes kicking me out of conversation and I have to dial in. Then there is lack of breakout rooms in a meeting, or asking questions to presenter by raising hand. If bandwidth is low, the platform cannot adapt resulting in lags in both video and audio instead of adjusting to lower resolutions. Overall, chime is not optimal

PLEASE FIX!!!! This a barrier to my job!! I work at Amazon and use this throughout my shift A LOT and it's an incredibly valuable tool, but it keeps pausing and running super slow after about 5 minutes of use and I have to keep restarting the app, sometimes even after less than 30 seconds of use, and it very much slows me down.

I constantly get signed out, onsite IT verified no issue with my account. They believe some setting on my phone is automatically signing me out...It used to be a week or more now the last signed out was just after 3 days of signing in, then I have to be on site again to re-verify to sign back in. I have tried Beta, uninstall/reinstall and no change. It been happening since July 2022.

What's the point if you need an on-site networked Computer just to login...only for the app to randomly decide to log you out for absolutely no reason without warning. Absolutely unacceptable when away from work and need info for next work day or are an associate without ease of access to no-site computer. Not currently fit for purpose in this regard.

Bugs that i have noticed 1) Messages and calls appear late in the notifications. 2) Even when i pickup call on my laptop the phone keeps ringing. 3) when i click the background apps button i can see two instances of chime one is blank and other is actual one. 4) messages don't instantly load when i open the app. It takes time for connecting and refresh the messages. 5) when i have some text in my textbox and click quote a message, all the message in my textbox gets delete.

Fails to connect when using mobile data when everything else (WhatsApp, messenger etc) has no issues. 9 times out of 10 messages don't actually send. During meetings, when someone starts talking it cuts off the first word of what they say, rather annoying when it's a roll call. Rarely get notifications when messages are received, you have to actually open the app to then see a notification dot.

Super laggy on Android 13 and crashes when typing. It's basically unusable right now since conversations crash so often. I actually opened a trouble ticket with IT and was told that the Chime team knows about this issue on Android and is working on a fix. But it's been over two months at this point. When are you guys going to fix it?

There's a bug in android app, it gets signed out automatically after few weeks. Sometimes I'm in the middle of my work and I have goto work computer to reactivate the app.

Old school very simple app. Good for conference but negative modern UI/UX. Someone stop here in 1999 year programming.

The most buggy app I have ever used. It takes a lot of time to connect and when it does it shows only the skeleton when I try to call someone or someone calls me.

All of a sudden, without any changes to my phone, the app will no longer open ANY attachment. Error message saying Unable to open attachment. This device does not have an app available that supports the file format. I have multiple apps installed that can open Excel files, jpegs, etc, but this app is now broken and I can't communicate with my team effectively to do my job properly. That will go in my next bridge.

I'll change the one star rating the day I'm able to send more than one picture at a time, and don't have to wait for it to fully send before sending the next Pic or else I get an "error unable to send" message. Also it'd be sweet if I stopped getting randomly logged out 👌

Needed to inform my manager and team about why I would be absent. Couldn't do that because of this update where you have to log in from an Amazon computer. No point to this app anymore. This has been super inconvenient. Even while onsite, it's a waste of time to have to log in when we need to use the app from our phones to take load quality photos, etc. Please get rid of this issue. Terrible idea.

I want to like chime, but there are several user issues that make the app unbearable. 1. Loading pics within chat takes far too long to be effective. I'm not talking about a little Impatience either. The wait time is well over a minute on occasion. 2. If a message can't send it simply deletes the entire message. This is absolutely unacceptable. There is important information being shared across this app. When a message goes down, it's infuriating to have to type it a second time. Please fix!!

Crashing is fixed but the rest is not. When I can join a meeting, the audio was so low I can't hear a thing. Also this app cant seem to make up its mind about the icons. Am I muted or not? And turning on my mic and video by default is a bad idea. let me manually turn those on when it is good. From when I join a meeting to when I can actually mute things is enough time to be disruptive. This app is only effective for text messaging...dont waste your time for conference calling.
