Awesome app... Love the widgets to easily arm/disarm without opening the app. (In an earlier review I complained about the widgets not working. After fighting with it a few days, I saw the request to change my notifications due to an AT&T issue. Afterward the widgets were restored, so I'll admit my problem was probably due to "user error")

I had a new home built and the builder put in a Qolsys iq panel 2 plus with a sky doorbell, zwave thermostat and garage door controller, a zwave door lock, and a zwave switch controlling the carriage lights. When we moved in a high pressure sales guy came in from the contracted security company to “set up” the system. After trying to wow us with the fact you could control the front door, garage, doorbell, thermostat and light he tried to lock us in with a $50/mo. 3 yr alarm monitoring contract. We were threatened with the fact that without paying for their expensive service we couldn’t add cameras, alarm door sensors, or even save doorbell videos, etc. Basically the system would be unfinished. I like to have full control with no monitoring. I later did a little research and found Surety. Surety hosts the ability to do exactly what I wanted, take full control of the system I paid for. I tried to sign up and couldn’t at first because my system was already registered to “that” security company. Surety’s site guided me with what to do, I released the imei from the previous security company and signed up with Surety. Surety’s app has been amazing. I’ve set up my system at my pace and only pay for what I’m using. The price for the same service is less than half of the high pressure sales company, I have full control, and I can add what I want when I want. I highly recommend. The app works perfectly. Thank you so much for taking the time to review our app, and we're sorry to hear about the experience you had. We're glad you found one of our partners that made you feel comfortable! Very interesting app, but needs more work on visual development. Needs a dark mode for night shifts.. And needs better icons that you can find the app very easy.. This icon isn't the best for people to find the app fast... Color of the icon is all white (very easy to lose on your screen and eyes) and is a triangle figure! The last thing that I think is a triangle talking about security alarms.

Overall it's a good app. I never really have issues except 1 issue that happens every so often. I will get a notification but when I go to saved to review/playback the notification is not there. The last saved update I have of notifications is May 18th. It did this to me once before and I don't remember how it got fixed. Other then this issues everything else works great!

I for some reason have to have my husband arm our house if I leave my driveway before doing so. Before I leave I sit in the driveway to set it which can be somewhat taxing if I’m running late or my baby is not happy to be in the car and always settles once the vehicle is moving. There was a period where the app wasn’t following any of my arming commands via my Apple Watch nor my iPhone, but now both work as long as I’m in the driveway. My husband has set it wherever though. I think I emailed customer support. I also have tried logging out and back in and deleting the app and re downloading but nothing has worked. When I did try to find help about this issue via the app and the site I could not find any information on how to fix it. It would be outrageously convenient to be able to arm it with my watch, but I’ll settle for some guidance on whether it only works via WiFi, one’s home network, or if I need to adjust another setting or account. This app is extremely efficient, however, which is very comforting having a baby, and yesterday the battery was low and it promptly informed me via text message and my husband, it did send me a whopping 15 texts which I didn’t think was necessary especially because I was in the home the entire time, but nonetheless I’d rather it send that many than none. So thanks for your service, a couple tweeks, broader access to troubleshooting, and I’d easily give it a 5 star rating. Thank you for reaching out to us, Autumn, we can help! It sounds like the setting that allows the app to use cellular data has been toggled off somehow. This is easy to find though. Go to your phone settings, then scroll down until you find Alarm.com and select it. You should see a toggle for Cellular Data which needs to be toggled to the right for it to be active. If you email our team they can provide some details on why you received so many low battery messages along with tips for anything else you're curious about. Having some problems. With my two recent installations at my residence and at my home at the Lske of the Ozarks. With my residence, the alarm has gone off three times over this past Memorial Day weekend while I was away. Trying to determine the cause. Unnecessary police response was provided and rather disturbing for the neighbors. With my home at the Lake of the Ozarks when I attempt to lock the door with my telephone the signal on my telephone blinks red while the door is locking and continues to blink red and then finally turns green which indicates that the door is unlocked even though it has actually locked. The message that is put on my phone says a connection was not made and with the green signal indicates the door is unlocked. That is very troubling especially when I attempt to make certain that the door is locked when I’m not actually present at the lake house. It almost defeats the whole reason for having the system. We can definitely understand the concern for false alarms and incorrect lock statuses. We know how important it is to have complete control over your security system and devices. We are sorry that this hasn't been your experience with these last two installations and hope you accept our apologies. Both scenarios suggest that local equipment may need service. Alarm.com will only send the alarms that the panel reports. Perhaps the false alarms were related to sensor issues or security panel programming. In terms of the lock, in the past, lock statuses not updating correctly have been found to be caused by Z-Wave communication. We'd love to assist you further, but we couldn't find your accounts with the information provided. Please contact us at [email protected], and if you include iOS App Review in the subject line, our support team will be able to prioritize your message. We may need your Authorized Security Dealer involved, but we want to help resolve these issues in any way we can. We look forward to working with you!

When I first downloaded the app clips was shown immediately. Now I am getting clips 2 days later. Some clips I don't receive. I can see people in my yard through my window , however the clips don't show up. Maybe it's a pick and choose 🤔 🤷 😏. So far I haven't had issues with arming and disarming through the app. I would love for all clips to show the moment of event. Otherwise so far great app.

It's not very friendly. In the apartments where I live, there are over 10 doors connected with this app. Rather than searching for the door I want to open, it would be great if I could have my favorite door(s) to open on the main menu, as icons. I should also be able to rename the doors according to my preferences. Moreover, it would be great to order/sort the doors rather than having the default order.

I have had this app for yeas. I’m happy to say the my panel has recently been upgraded to keep up with expanding technology. The other pro is that it arms and disarms quickly without a long wait. Signal gets through immediately There are two major cons. The first is the alert sound. It only offers one. It seems to be the default of all my news alerts coming through. It would help if it could offer a custom alert so I would know it was the app. I have another doorbell maker and it notifies me with a distinct sound. Also, it doesn’t alert me on the iPhone. I have worked with trying to get it but to no avail. My second and biggest complaint is not being able to bypass one particular zone from the app. You cannot tell it specifically to bypass a certain zone. The only way to bypass is you need to physically go to the zone, open it then bypass it. It would be nice if the app would allow you to bypas, for example zone 5. You’re not able to bypass a zone of choice when not at home. This has been my biggest frustration. Please offer it as an update or upgrade. Especially the custom alerts. Other than these two issues the app works well. Thank you so much for the feedback. We appreciate hearing about features that can improve the experience our users have for the app. We would like to hear more about the features you would like to see included, so please email us at your earliest convenience. The overall use of this app is pretty straightforward and is very similar to others on the market but just like those other ones it's biggest downfall is actually being able to arm the house in a timely manner if at all. Almost everytime we go to arm it it will sit there forever (a good 7-10 minutes) before it eventually arms or disarms. We have tried doing it right outside without moving and still the same result

My wifi and my cellar data are perfectly fine but I lose connection with the cameras at least once a day and within that time period of disconnection it doesn’t record. I have had the doorbell camera replaced already and it was the device that was the problem yet I had to pay over 200 for a new one when it wasn’t even my fault it was faulty equipment from the company. Customer service is terrible as well no one helps with the issue you have to do all the “fixing” or “troubleshooting “ yourself! I didn’t get this system to be a technician that’s not my job it’s the companies responsibility which they never admit it’s their fault and take no responsibility. Then they send someone out after you ask for a supervisor multiple times it could be days without the device working until the technician comes. It’s not really safe when you can’t use your devices to monitor your safety in your own house because of the company’s negligence. I don’t recommend it all at you have to sign a 5 year contract and if you try to cancel earlier then your contract expiration date it will cost you thousands.

At least I know one of my cameras is not working and.... then nothing. The "Troubleshoot" prompt lists 3 potentials of failure, all having to do with the internet. Select yes if any of these apply. No if not. Our internet is super solid....so I selected "No". Not one iota of response. Hit No again...and again....no further troubleshooting available I guess if it's not the internet. Hit Yes just out of curiosity, and the program did have other troubleshooting options. Horrible.

This app is so slow! The live camera almost never works, and when it does, it takes forever to load. I wish they would make some improvements because this app makes me want to switch security companies. Also, the recorded videos are too short, so if something were to happen, the video would only be the first 5 seconds of the event. Like, if there's someone is on my porch, I need it to record as long as they're there.

Over all its a semi helpful app, but the lag issues are incredibly frustrating. It doesn't matter if you're on 5G or wifi it can take multiple tries to try and unlock your door or arm the system. Would be nice to get that resolved. Currently we cannot arm or disarm our system thru the app. Seems its gotten worse despite having brand new phones and everything is up to date.

Can't change clip length, someone could be doing something on your property and you will only see them walking to it. Limits number of clips then shuts off recording until next month. Setting boundaries still causes objects outside of it to trigger recording. Costs much more than Ring who even provides unlimited continuous clips. Cameras don't get the best video quality. Restricts number of SD cards even if you're paying for everything. Definitely needs to modernize and improve overall.

The play back portion of video review does not work well at all. I used to be able to scrub the video to the point I want to see. When you do that, it jumps back in time. Example, it is now 18:00 and I want to see 17:30. If I go back to 17:30, it will jump back to 16:30. The more I go forward the farther it jumps back. Impossible to look at any video except under events.

Stay away from this company! Supposedly you are able to program the cameras not to detect certain objects but that's not so. After speaking to IT even if you program them not to detect a certain object basically that mean nothing to the cameras. I could go on & on with issues but ...just know they are a waste of your $ and are a POS. Update: After 2 months putting up with constant problems that they obviously can not fix. We are having our camera system taken out.

Functional. But the fact that it doesn't connect to Google Home is very annoying. Updated: it's become less and less reliable over time. Will it disarm the alarm before it goes off? Who knows? We hit "disable" in the app a few minutes ago, then the alarm went off thirty seconds later, then we disabled it manually at the panel, then I wrote this whole review, and it still hasn't acknowledged the entire thing in the app.

So now this app keeps notifying me that there's an electrical outage within 1 mile from me WHO CARES? Annoying. Also, it STILL is telling me my garage door is open, when it is NOT! Also takes 1/2 hr for notifications about the front door video sometimes. This app really sucks. I'll be changing companies ad soon as I can, since they want to charge me over $115 to send someone out.

App used to be great. Now, when it sends me notifications, it doesn't send the photos anymore ONLY a LINK. That defeats the purpose of having notifications where you can QUICKLY look at your phone/watch to see what's going on. They have had me on the phone HOURS after work saying it is my phone company that doesn't allow these messages anymore. This is NOT the contract I signed up for. I like the old way better not this. I think I'll have to pay to break my contract for services I can enjoy.

Worse security application ever utilized. Their product never works appropriately. Someone can steal everything in my home and I would never get a notification because the product simply socks. I've call at least 6 times in one day to give them back this @ish and everytime...it's let me transfer you and a hang up. I have an answer for that! See if u get another payment!!!!! I bet someone will call then. Let's see!!!

The system logged me out sometime ago...about 1 year ago. I've not been able to log back in or reset the account. I've requested a reset numerous times to the email that I created the account with, yet I never receive an email to that account. Not in spam, nothing. I have a system I can't use...support is a joke and says you can log into the app for assistance! Highly do not recommend!

It never works anymore. At first it wouldn't work when Wi-Fi was on now it just doesn't work. Man this app is just getting worse and worse. Now I can't log in at all after getting a new phone. I can log in perfectly fine on the phone that's damaged. I've uninstalled the app on the new phone reinstalled it putting in the same and accurate password and username and still I won't log me in. Completely ridiculous.

This latest update has rendered the app completely useless. I can no longer arm/disarm my system, effectively making it non-functional. When I contacted my alarm co to inquire about a potential panel software issue, I was told no update was needed. Instead, I was informed that I would have to pay a ridiculous $59 service fee, plus the cost of any necessary parts and equipment, for a tech to troubleshoot their faulty equipment. So, due to the company's inadequacy, I am expected to foot the bill.

Cameras record events but don't save them, constant problems with the cameras disconnecting, etc. This system is expensive and doesn't work as promised. I've tried all the troubleshooting, and it doesn't help. I bought a Eufy solar wireless camera and mounted it myself, and I've had zero problems with it at less than half the cost. I wish I'd never signed up for this contract.

So unreliable. It does not follow sync with the main panel. the live view only stays active less than 30 seconds. Nobody can explain to me how my 1 device has so many different logins, which makes me feel so unsecured. Is there a time frame to download clips? Sometimes icons pop up to share/save, but the important 1s.dont. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Even with a great phone and data in this location, the app fails to show you the videos captured. 20 minutes of a buffering screen, I came to look at reviews, and there's 30+ others just from quick scroll, saying the same thing. You would think over 6 months of reviews, they would invest a little to fix something like this. It seems to be a paper weight that looks like a door camera.

Warning! Avoid. The worst smart app and customer service I've experienced. The app does not connect to all smart devices and for the last two weeks won't let me log in at all. There is no support or response from customer service as well after multiple emails including messages sent months ago for assitance with adding a smart garage door. Best to avoid. Other apps and smart devices such as Google Home is far superior. I'm at the point of replacing all my devices to other companies.
