I have used this app for many years...sadly it's gone downhill. Every two seconds, another ad, don't mind watching while getting a wallpaper or ringtone, but they will just pop up periodically and they are repetitive. If I didn't download a game the first time I saw an ad, sure not going to buy it the tenth time I saw it. Just annoying! Too bad, this site has good content, but trying to get one wallpaper will take you a half hour or more.
I've been using Zedge for several years across multiple devices. When I would get a new phone, I knew I could log into my account and get all my ringtones back. The app used to work great and I could search for ringtones without issue. Now I only get a connection error that says to try again later. It's been several days but I still can't search for anything.
zedge is an awesome app! Easy to navigate through and tons of free wallpapers, Ringtones, and much more. The only negative side for me was too many ads popping up. Also, some of the artists require a high amount of "coins" to purchase their wallpapers. Other than that it's still a very good app to download and use. I can spend hours on it creating my own AI wallpapers and just browsing. I highly recommend this app!!
open the app, offers premium. close the offer. ads. type in a prompt, click one thing. ads. download something, click back to go to the list, ads. ads ads ads ADS MORE ADS. this app has more ads than most game apps do. and half the time when you exit the ad, the app freezes the ENTIRE PHONE, making you either have to restart your phone or just shut the screen off. don't even get me started on how 90% of the wallpapers are AI slop garbage 💩. used to be such a great app.
my review would be five stars if there were less or no ads every time you click on something there are ads and then the app asks if you want to pay for no ads. I don't want to spend money on a subscription on a app that I use twice a year, at max. I don't want to spend money to change my wallpaper. the app is also a bit slow sometimes and when typing sometimes the keyboard doesn't respond at all. great app otherwise
