First time user:: Easy to install, setup and use. Ads are not intrusive and seem to offer quality products and services rather than a lot of useless junk. Navigation is simple throughout and allows choice of multiple servers. VPN stays connected until you disconnect or, presumably, power down your device. My test drive was worth it. I will continue to use so as to have a better feel for the app, but hopefully won't experience any issues. Recommend it, at this point, without reservations.
Support this app! it is ACTUALLY FREE. Google Play is saturated with "free VPN's" that aren't actually free at all.. they're trying for free apps that you'll have to put your cc information on to even get it started to try out. This one is free. you can try it without any of that. Of course, this does have ads and a way to upgrade if you do desire. either way it works great for everything I need it for.
Great, but not good enough. I get that advertisements pay money.. but I feel like every game and app is getting DESTROYED with ads these days... if there were no ads I'd make it 5 stars. (edit) Okay. I get that VPN servers are expensive to run. But okay. I understand. Also.. here's a suggestion for the developers. Add a 'donate' option. And make sure you accept the mostly used services. Including PayPal and even Bitcoin. It'll help you guys a lot.
I have assurance wireless and they have the worst data plan ever. I play games online and every month when my data gets refilled, after two days im out of data and stuck the rest of the month with no YouTube, no internet access etc. the add on data rates are ridiculous. I decided to try this out and its been a life saver. I've been able to watch videos and play games and still have internet access. its been a week now and I still have not ran out of data. i hope it can get me through the month.
Many other VPN apps are very irritating that they press you to buy subscription by showing ads and videos non-stop even with load music. This app is a human exception. Most of the other VPN apps must click on start button to connect to servers which is a big trouble. But not this one. It stays on almost all the time, making much easier to use.
Privacy & Security – Excellent! I feel safe using it, and it effectively hides my IP address. The speed is good for regular browsing and streaming. Occasionally it slows down a bit, but overall performance is reliable. It offers a wide range of server locations across different countries, making it easy to connect and switch locations. The app has a clean and user-friendly interface. One-tap connection works smoothly. The free version is a bit limited but good enough for basic use.
It's actually much better than others so far... I love how they have locations and their specific speeds, we'll see if they start sabotaging the connection after not subscribing for awhile (paying them). Better than Nord or Turbo definitely. Make sure you go into app settings and give it unrestricted data, and turn off battery optimization, if you do that your connection shouldn't be disrupted.👍😎🥳
Easy to use and secure! Two thumbs up. It does have ads, which is good (because you wouldn't get it free if it didnt. We all have to pay our bills somehow!), but the ads don't last long at all, after just a few seconds you can skip it. I haven't found a better vpn yet that you don't have to pay for. I'm always looking for secure sites and whatnot for sound samples, it's unnerving because it seems like all free download sites have malware or viruses. Thanks guys
UPDATE June 24, 2022 I increased the rating from 4 to 5 stars because something in the app’s ability to stay connected to your VPN, for hours at a time even when the phone goes in and out of sleep mode, has IMPROVED! The app is more stable and staying connected longer! I appreciate the free ad version very much and I often click through on relevant ads to see what’s being offered (tip to developers: I’ve never once clicked through on your gaming ads because I never game. But I can tell that you’ve been increasing non-gaming ads and that’s appreciated.) Update May 15, 2022…Ditto below, but with this note to the developers: WHY is almost EVERY single ad (with the free version) an advertisement for a GAMING app??!! I don’t game and never will, so you are doing a poor job at selling me anything I might actually be interested in. Surely not all your users are kids playing on gaming apps? Nov 9, 2021 :: I gladly recommend this VPN! Just beware there are LOTS of ads in the FREE service - which is actually okay, since the connections are generally (but not always) stable and fast enough. Works well. Have used it for a few days now. And it has many different servers from other countries including USA. Stays connected well. Have only had it stop when hosting server I'm connected to drops me for being static to long. (idle). I do like that it shows up on my drop menu bar. And shows up/down speeds and overall data total for both Ingress and Egress.
Used this app in China for a month. Worked great! Not too expensive either. Was able to use all my usual apps when traveling around. Customer service was also pretty straight forward to work with. I had an extra month's charge on my credit card and after some email exchanges, they were able to get it resolved and issue a credit. Nice to be able to email a real person.
overall great app and easy to use. love how it's just one click and boom! you're connected!!! but recently the ads I've been getting freeze. When they come up, they'll play but the countdown will freeze. It'll start the 5 second countdown but freeze on 4 or 3. i closed the app dozens of times and they still freeze. i dont know if it's my device or the app but please fix this!! thanks.
for the free version.. every other app i’ve tried makes u watch 10 or more super long ads before it connects u to a vpn. and also has very little options for where u want ur vpn to show u are. this one is by far the best out of any other app i’ve tried. this one only makes u watch 1 single ad and it’s only a few seconds long if not instant. u can click out if it and boom! ur connected. and i love how it had more choices to choose the location u want ur con to be in. not to mention that it stays on FOREVER!! as long as u leave the app open on ur phone.i turned it on in the evening to use a phone website i needed to visit & went to sleep and the next morning i looked at my phone and realized that it was still on! so many hours later! i definitely recommend downloading this app over any other u try. and this app doesn’t ask u all the time for a review. i went out of my way to make this review. i love this app. best ever!! hands down
This VPN is for people like me for simple safe connection to unknown and public wifi no other weird and confusing buttons. The connection is very fast and i have no problem using it. I had a subscription to another VPN but it had one flaw and i emailed CS line and they told me that nothing was wrong its prob the user fault. I know that it wasnt my fault because same problem i had was the main problem for my family also, that problem was when its connected and your using it or your downloading an app it will lose it connection but my phone couldnt do anything about it. Even if i hard close the app it would be running in the background and it wouldnt freshly connect again until i reseted my phone. This app doesnt have that problem and i tested it out too see if it does i had it on all night one time and it didnt lose connection not once. So anyone who wants a simple vpn n nothing extra with the vpn this is for you. I recommend it its very easy and simple! Oh the other thing this comes with a wifi speed tester so thats a plus to see how fast the internet your using! Overall super happy with this purchase!
It works for what I downloaded it for. I will say, on some devices it doesn't work. On mine is does. It is laggy at times, like when you first load it, the loading screen takes forever. Then, when you press connect it takes a while. But I understand that. I do think this is a really good app. But if it works is a hit or miss, honestly. My phone seems to have been the only one that worked out of my friends'. Theirs wouldn't open at all.
It works very well. I haven't had any problems with it not doing its job and I've been using it for around 8 months. The ads are a little annoying because most of the time you get one while opening the app (sometimes you dont) and turning on/off the VPN can also give you an add (but sometimes it doesnt) overall I think it's a very good free vpn. It does its job with the exception of some ads, but I get it, nothings really free and the devs gotta make profit 🤷♂️
This is great! I tried a ton of "free" VPN apps, but they all either worked painfully slow unless you paid for premium, or didn't work at all. I've been using this for at least a month now. It works. Despite using the free version, it connects quickly and I rarely ever have to watch an ad...if I do it's never longer than 15 seconds. I love it! Edit 6/22: once I connect, the VPN will randomly disconnect out of nowhere! It's a little irritating... Giving 3 stars until this is fixed.
Could be one of the best free VPNs out there BUT it keeps dropping the network connection. Didn't have the disconnect issue until VPN was installed and running yesterday. Now with this VPN I spend time just trying to get back online. Had to deduct 2 stars for instability and connection issues and I need to uninstall. What good is a VPN if you can't get on the internet and stay there!
Very reliable.. A little slow to launch and also select a location. It does have a killswitch which doesn't make it convenient to use when you need to mask your location. Sometimes it blocks the network when it's not working and one might think their connection is bad until your change the location or try a different server. Still a good app and gives good ips, only encountered a few that were blacklisted but that was more like 1 in 40 ips.
This app is good, the VPN works as it should but the only problem is how many ads you give us... there arent many ads, yes. But the "X" is so hard to press i end up clicking the advertisement!! Instead of the ads supposingly being about 10 seconds long, it feels like 30. If you could stop putting the X so far in the corner then i would have no problems, otherwise its a good VPN app to use
Right so for the first year or two of me using this app it worked fine but for some reason this year its not working at all. I’ll try to connect to a server so i can listen to music on my phone while in school but instead it will pop up the purchase menu and when i exit out of the purchase menu it will disconnect me from the server. Now ive tried just leaving the purchase menu open and hoping it would connect but it never does i dont know if this is happening to anyone else or what but I would just like to listen to music in class so my ptsd and anxiety doesnt flair up and for anyone thinking im listen to music without my teachers permission they know im listening to music its not like i have ear buds in hiding behind my hair. No i have actually headphones on that visual constantly so ya dont come at me saying I shouldn’t be listening to music in class because ive done it for years and when a teacher asks me to take them off i do most of the time also keep in mind i have a ear out at all times so i can hear the teacher and i have my music low maybe on 3-5 volume. Anyways enough rambling. I’d just love to get this app fixed to where people that dont pay or cant pay can still use that app thats all im asking just let us connect to your servers still without pushing it in our faces to purchase or disconnecting us if we dont purchase. Could you please uninstall the app, reboot the device and reinstall, then try connecting with all possible protocols and server locations which would resolve the issue.
It works as a good vpn, but this past minth or so, has given me issues. It will not disconnect unless I uninstall the app. If I go to then reinstall it, it has the same issue. I thought it was fixed recently, but turns out it is not. It is very annoying. It slows down my already struggling internet by a lot. Once it does "disconnect" it just loads "disconnecting" and doesn't allow you to reconnect unless you uninstall and reinstall the app.
Meh, lasts for about 30 minutes then you need to go back in, which takes forever to load, watch an ad, disconnect, watch an ad, reconnect, and finally watch an ad. I put up with it for awhile but to be honest I'm at my limit and will probably try to find a better one. If this is your only option then sure go for it, but I would definitely do literally any other vpn.
As an old user since like 2020. I'm disappointed at the current state of this app. Too much ads before connecting and even to disconnect! And the apps are also double and triple. Once you tap "X" then another also pops up. I've been a free user all these while and it's getting worse.
2021: I tried to wait until I heard back from them but no answer back so this is my final take on this vpn....Looking for a good vpn which this vpn is ok compared to others wanting you to watch videos to gain credits in order to have a vpn active, BUT this vpn doesn’t stay on on your phone goes into rest mode it turns off and then you have to turn it back on. Which I have to question the integrity of the company that makes this vpn. I contacted the company no reply waited about 2 to 3 weeks nothing. Also the so called super unlimited keeps tethering which doesn’t connect at all on wifi or cellular service it just tethers in the background stating connecting ...which that will kill your battery quick because it stays running to gain a connection it already happened to me and I had to delete it. Don’t even bother it may have a high download count but I strongly believe it was deleted as quick as it was downloaded. Also I strongly believe not many people know that this vpn turns off when your phone is resting . Update 2022: I had deleted this vpn for over a year and no change problems with email and website loading and taking a long time to load. Also this thing still drains my battery also several media website does not even load. Which VPN protocol are you using within the app? The VPN actually does stay on when your phone is resting, you can test it yourself by connecting to the app (via duration connected, where you rate the app). Click the right hand button on the side of your device it will put the phone/ipad into rest mode, then re-open the app and see if the VPN is still connected. You can also check the VPN connection via your phone settings or via the Control Center.
