It is difficult to set up originally, but once I understood how it should be done, easy thereafter. Instructions not the easiest to understand. Would suggest one looks at a few YouTube videos first. One thing missing is the ability to alter the sensitivity of camera, as it is slightest blowing in the wind triggers it. This may be a shortfall of the camera and not the software.
This camera works well. Very good clear picture, and has different ways the camera will connect. Alarm and voice works well. In the settings you can turn off voice, and disarm alarm, which are nice features. 4 stars because it needs an option for split screen view, at the top on right side by the X like most apps maybe in the future though . So far this is a good security camera with lighting as well.
There is an excessive amount of overselling with ads that pop up every time the app is opened. Furthermore, inappropriate ads are unsuitable for children. Even after subscribing, there are still non-stop pop-ups encouraging further subscriptions. I am considering other options where I will not be disturbed by ads even after purchasing and subscribing to what I need. This app is greedy and unusable. My advice is not to use it; #### EDIT. Now ads are reduced and price is also fair.
Mediocre camera app. I have used many many camera apps, and this one is just ok. First, the ads are terrible. You have to click them or see them before doing ANYTHING! Didn't we already buy a camera?! Also the zoom has just 2 modes, full view and too close. But even worse, it takes SO long to connect, and often fails. I will NEVER buy another V380 camera. Give me Yoosee any day!
It's good but the promotional ad for the penny cloud service for 7 days is getting out of hand.... I'm getting between 3 and 7 alerts a day.. at first I thought the alerts were something going on in my home because I have the alert set to notify me.. and upon checking it's that ad for the penny cloud service... I don't want penny cloud service. You need to add in and opt out option. I'm sick of the constant alerts for the service... And please make viewing saved SD data easier... please..
Buyer beware! Camera works fine but will miss and skip times and having issues just on 3/2 /24 with screen not playing back. It a great camera just has a few issues. Also I have tried to reach out to technical support and send lots of messages but not helpful. It could be a server issue but not all the time.consider what they wrote as a response should tell you a lot. I'm missing a lot of investments opportunities messing around with this camera. I'm done paying for something that is not working
Not a very good app. I can't sign in my account. Keep changing password still can't. Un-installed the app reinstalled still won't work. Not sure what there wanting on log in page. The first line I can't even read it all. It shows on first line it says enter your and there's a letter a with 3 dots. So not sure what you have to do to sign in. And camera will not connect to my wifi. Probably going to send it back. No use to me right now
Cannot get the video feed after i renewed my account. Everything is online ready to go but when i go to see it....it just keeps saying connecting....money not well spent. My loss...first 2 weeks were great though. Night vision didnt work at first at all. Then it did. Then it said i never purchased storage. Now its all renewed, did everything , says its connected....but no feed.
Worked great for one day but day two there's nothing on the view screen unless you put it in black & white. Also since it's saturated with ads it takes two to three minutes to be able to clear the worthless ads. In that time what ever was happening is over or I have to try and catch them on a better camera. Still don't understand the color burning out in less than 24 hours. I can not suggest nor support this product.
Constantly says "Connection Failure - Battery Exhausted" despite the battery icon showing plenty of battery life. Ive even tried plugging it in and it hasn't changed. I can't view the live feed or open settings or do anything other than remove the camera as a device. Yet the camera will once in a while record one movement event at random even though there has been plenty of movement before and after the one recorded. The date on most of the recorded events are completely wrong. PLEASE FIX!!
Garbage. Throwing these away. The cameras were great. Now, terrible. They restart all the time to update and flash, blink, and yell when they do. Please stop logging users out constantly! If I want to log out then I will do it. Otherwise keep me logged in. Also, please add a feature to select IR mode on, off, or auto. I have a dozen of these and they constantly keep switching between IR on / off all day despite a high amount of sunlight, regardless of the light sensitivity selection.
bought 6 of these to set up, wasn't the easiest. The cameras seem to be stuck on intense zoom as there is no adjustment to the magnification and it's frustrating to fine tune them. No matter how far I set them up the image is always zoomed in.......... Absolutely frustrating to set up, software and app does not offer much to offer in the settings menu........waste of my time and money!
The cameras I purchased were complete junk . Would freeze constantly and go offline on their own around 3 or 4 times daily then u have to reconnect to wifi and app which take a unreal amount of time and effort. Totally not worth it . I HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING A BETTER CAM AND APP. Update: I did everything I could to get them to work , I even put one on top of the router, guess what didn't work no better and was offline by itself about 2 hours after I put it there . Took it to a security expert
Update: It's stupid that I have to watch an ad before I can open the app. We paid for this product. And who cares to see an ad while you're concerned about the security of your home. Instead of removing the ads, you put an apology in the app description. What a joke. Trash. I haven't had any real issues with the app. My camera is very simple. But the ads feel unnecessary and make the app seem cheap and insecure. The camera purchases should cover the cost of ads.
Worked Great for a couple of month's, but it got slower over time. It shows today that its online and trying to connect, but never connects. Have reset all cameras, still no video. Have 6 of them on different routers, android and iphones, still not connecting. Sometimes when programmers fixes one bug, they create 5 more bugs. It was not as bad before the last fix it seems. Any other apps that can work on these camera's?
It was working just fine before and now all of a sudden they have decided to add an ad when you open the app. That's really inconvenient when you are worried there is someone in the house or u need to check a sound you might have heard and instead of getting to the camera view right away you have to sit thru an ad. Go back to the way it was previously.
