Better than Apple or Amazon for about the same price. If you are new to hi-res music this is a GREAT app. If you are looking for well curated, hi-res music to stream or buy This is for you. And so very easy to find classical music or any other genre, new or old. Even an e-magazine and thorough album backgrounds. Qobuz, because of their great curation has also obtained excellent releases of popular albums. Best early release albums. It's a one stop shop for music lovers! Don't miss this one.
I would really love to see this app grow 🥰 Spotify was something I used almost religiously, so much so I think last year I was a top listener overall, but I'd rather use qobuzz at this point. And for more than just because of the actions spotify has recently taken. I think qobuzz definitely kicks spotifys butt when it comes to audio quality which is something i obsess about, and I haven't had the issue of not finding a song. If yall were to add lyrics, I think I'd be the happiest listener ever
Sound quality is the best and it is the reason I chose this platform over the competition. There is still work to do about music discovery and music suggestions, but the UI looks great and it is easy to navigate. I would love higher resolution support and smoother integration with Google Cast. There are also opportunities to leverage the latest features in Android, such as themed icons. More organization (folders) options in the for the music library would be welcome.
My favorite music app by far, almost my only, with most everything I look for, very few hiccups (and I have a challenging multi-room synced set up). The hi-res music quality is, of course, Qoubuz' business model and success. I'd not want them to compete with the social media concept of Spotify, or heaven help us, commercialism of Amazon or Google. But I'd love more in the way of algorithms to suggest artists, tracks or releases based on my listening or favorites.
Great quality. Great information about the artists that I'm still exploring. I think the ui still needs a bit of work, maybe I'm not finding the features that I would like. I do love the layout of the ui, if feels more technical and mature compared to Spotify. The quality of the music is actually presented to the user. I would recommend this for anyone who likes sound quality in the music they listen to.
After sticking around with Spotify for many years, I decided to give Qobuz a try. Pretty decent price point for the outstanding audio quality and I enjoy the little things like detailed album info and extensive write ups and analyses of the artists/music. Hopefully the service is able to reel in more Spotify expats and it continues to grow. The UI is pretty basic, but usable and so far, all the artists I enjoy are here. I hope to see it evolve into an even better service.
dear qobuz I love your app, the UI is sleek and not overly cluttered with all the other "reels" and algorithmic nonsense on other listening apps. You may not have ALL the songs I had on Spotify, but knowing the artists are paid well when I listen sets me at ease. I only ask, could you please give me a way to organize my playlists into folders? I have so many made for specific purposes, and this free for all playlist system you have is really not working for me.
Unfortunately I have to reduce the rating a bit here. The audio quality is still the best out there...but I am having a lot of issues streaming or downloading over a 5G connection, and it is a super fast connection with plenty of signal and unlimited data, it is actually way faster than my Wi-Fi, but somehow the Wi-Fi has zero lag and can download 3 High-Res songs at a time with no issues...but the faster 5G is nearly unusable. I can't figure it out, I don't have this issue with any other app.
Qobuz connect is great in theory, in practice it often "disassociates" with wiim and a device reboot is needed to regain control. I don't find the qobuz discovery tool very powerful at all. It might provide some recommendations, but there seems to be little learning or pushing of my boundaries. The fidelity is why I'm here. I wish there was a bit more binaural content as I usually listen with headphones. It seems like a decent library with a need for an improved app.
for the price, I'd expect a MUCH more refined UI. ditch the "magazine" tab and make a player and app that's worth $15/month (higher than the competition by a few dollars). I'm not paying for rolling stone here, I just need to be able to sift through thousands of tracks I've saved to the library without manually scrolling 1 page at a time. also. if I can sort 'most recently played', why can't I reverse that filter? or any of the search filters, for that matter. basic stuff guys. earn my $$$$
You have something SO GOOD here, but not allowing local files in private playlists is a deal-breaker. Seems unnecessary to download a shady third party app to perform this simple function, it just becomes a hassle. I could even tolerate losing sizeable chunks of my electronic music playlists (especially jungle, good LORD...) but since I couldn't even replace those songs with local files if I wanted to feels like I'm being locked out by Qobuz. I know there's ways around it, but I want to pay you.
Sounds good but a few annoyances. There needs to be more granularity with the music suggestions and new res. My Weekly Suggestions is all over the place with genres and useless. There's no quick play button to play favourites etc. Ok fine, I'll do the artist radio. Music selection is good but why are the playlist so short? Why make them end? Worst of all I get a good artist radio station then the playlist doesn't change day to day? And why is Autoplay not working?? This is dangerous in the car.
In older versions of the app, the offline library could be sorted alphabetically by artist. Now you can only sort by title. The old way is much, much better. Also, the library lists any tracks you've "favorited" separately, even if the full album is downloaded. This is redundant and clutters the library list. Is there another way to provide feedback, aside from leaving reviews here? Seems like there should be a more direct way...
Good audio quality, however everything else is bad-like "how is this possible in 2025" bad. Search function hardly works, the recommendation algorithm doesn't really exist; it's just their "top picks," and worst of all, artists with the same or even similar names are just grouped together. Shuffling the music of a rock group you like? here's some Vietnamese traditional music by a guy with the same name. seriously, if you intend on using this app, don't
Excessive errors. Sometimes the track stops entirely, either going to the next track or just not. Sometimes the audio cuts out. I gave one additional star because they treat artists better, but I don't want to go back into the app every two or three songs to fix it when I'm busy working or driving.
Tried to sign up for the free trial but something went wrong. Now the trial pop-up is still there and no premium features, but if I try to sign up again it says it's "already owned." Google Play says I have the subscription "unconfirmed" and that I need to open the app to confirm it. Well, opening the app, uninstalling, clearing data, all does nothing. I wanted to give it a shot but a buggy mess right off the bat isn't good.
Used Qobuz for 3 years and it was great before the Connect update. Connect simply does not work with my particular setup and there is currently no way to turn it off. I will be cancelling my account unless this is fixed as it is that problematic. Edit: I have cancelled my account. 2 months without any word about Connect or ability to stop it. After going through this process, I also need to add that their customer service is terrible. It took them almost a week to get back in touch.
The music keeps randomly skipping to next track. I have to hit previous track, and it starts the song over. I have to track back to where it stopped the song, and it's really annoying. I have a 3 month free trial so i can't really say i wasted my money, but for a paid streaming service this is ridiculous. please fix this issue.
MUST force stop app after listening. pausing and "swiping" the app away does nothing. it just keeps auto playing whatever I was last listening to no matter how many times I pause/close app. it's freaking ridiculous, it's been this way for weeks. I get off my lunch break, close the app down, and 30 seconds after I sit down my phone starts blasting music for all to hear since I no longer have my Bluetooth headset on. pixel 8 pro on visible wireless
at first it was great. Then it won't recognize that I went from trial to subscription. I've been paying for 6 months and still haven't been able to use it customer care is pretty much non-existent. I'm pretty sure they won't refund me the money every time I cancel it I get charged the next month. wish they would make it easier to get help . terrible customer service.
