Much improved! The app used to be a real pain to use, but they've got things running smoothly. Now it's a breeze to use. My only complaint is that when I order online for pick-up in store, it never shows my name on my phone screen when they ask me to confirm the order is mine. They keep having to find the order number and compare instead. Apparently, it doesn't happen with anyone else, just me. Doesn't happen on delivery orders though, just pickup orders. I'm just lucky I guess. 😂
So far, the app seems to be working fine. Adding the rewards points when I have an offer is not fine. There's no special code,as stated, to submit for missing rewards points. I scanned the QR code as instructed by the cashier after I told her I was supposed to get double points for today's order. I only see the regular points added. I'm missing the rest of my reward points.
The app has definitely been improved, it seems much easier to use. Previously there wasn't an option to select sauce's. I was happy to discover those options are now available when ordering on the app. Also there is a box to add notes which is convenient. In the past when trying to order unsweet tea online there was no option for unsweetened tea. Now I'm can request that in the note box. 😊
I think probably my only issue is that when I click to add a reward to my order, I have to manually go through the menu and add it to my bag rather than it asking me to customize/confirm the item right then and adding it to my order. Other than that, it's a great app. I love that you can add points from a purchase afterwards. Sometimes my husband surprises us with Panda 😅
App is fine. Needs an option to cancel orders, at least ones with preset times. Accidentally placed an order an hour ahead of when I wanted to and had to wait that hour. Also if you have issues using gift cards, if you're copying and pasting from your email it's adding spaces into the numbers and cutting off the last 3 digits. Remove the spaces and type those 3.
They've fixed the optimization issues lately, but the rewards system is pretty lackluster, and offers are only available like a single week out of the month. They can be pretty good, but they're usually really specific, and they don't last very long. Odd choice when they want to call it the "monthly good fortune." It's single use, and it's only available for like a week.
App never has any promotions running despite them advertising it as having promos. When you order once in a month you'll unlock a cheap promo that you probably won't use, for like a free drink or something. It's basically a points tracker and ordering platform but it takes a long time to build up to even a small reward. Doesn't help that the location i order from always keeps mobile orders waiting longer than if I'd just walked in and placed my order
Bad Panda! In a hurry to place an online order, the app ran thru an update - the first item on the protein list was HOT orange chicken. Unfortunately, we were unable to eat our dinner becauseit was too spicy. I'm sure I won't be the only one making this mistake. Panda Express should list both the Hot & Original options right under each other to avoid confusion. Customers may order based on the picture, seeing the orange chicken at the top of the list may cause confusion.
I order panda all the time, have always used this ridiculous app for rewards and for some crazy reason it never works, they don't give all the points, they never let me get my rewards, it glitches and doesn't accept my email or account or phone number... starts all over , I reset password and it still acts like I am beginning from the start... stupid app... by now I would have 100k points .. but of course does not work.
There was an ad for a deal in my app. it awards a free medium size a la carte item for orders $25 or over. I ordered a meal totaling $55. At the checkout, there was an error message about the promotion is not valid on this order. This has happened previously on all my online orders. Scam advertising should report to BBB. The food is good.
It gives you rewards very rarely and doesn't offer incentives to order. Have to look online for deals or coupons. Its also blatantly misleading, saying your next order will give you a coupon next time. so i order, and then i get nothing. I feel very, very ripped off. I feel like I should change to a 1 star, but I'll stick to my original 2 star.
Been a rewards member for years now and everything worked in the past, but i ordered for the first time in over a year and when i went to check out it had an issue with payment with 4 different cards that shouldn't have any issues, then I tried PayPal and the charge went through on one of those cards, but the order didn't go through. had to waste 40 minutes getting ahold of support to get the charge taken off my card. Support lady was nice and helpful, but this app and the website are garbage.
Edit- The app now refuses to take "ASAP" orders half the time. Would be convenient if it worked reliably. The app itself works great, but after ordering a meal, it pushes several junk "offers" to sign up for irrelevant services. I'm not interested in any of it, but there's no clear way to turn it off permanently. Those offers shouldn't be pushed through this app in the first place. Would be five stars, but this behavior is unacceptable from a restaurant app.
I waited 2 and a half hours just for them to cancel my order. Their app messed up at the store, and showed the order as delivered. I asked for delivery and their only offer was to remake the food IF I WENT TO THE STORE MYSELF. I'm working, that's why I ordered delivery. Don't download this app or order from them. They don't care if they waste your time or even try to make things right.
There have been no coupon offers in the rewards tab for months. If Panda Express is going to advertise offering deals and discounts they better actually have deals and discounts. This is my main problem with the app. Other fast food apps like Wendy's or McDonalds have offers that are available daily. You can however earn points by ordering regularly at full price, but you need to spend like 20 bucks at least just to get a premium entre upgrade.
Good until it wasn't. If you order a lot, this app was great for racking up points. It would also offer extra perks monthly when you purchase something for that month. However, I had recently gotten offered double points if you spend over $25. Of course low and behold it did not give me my double points. I could not redeem unless I place the order online which it failed to mention and I only figured it out when I had to order something online for my friend but of course it was under $25.
I just downloaded it, and tried to sign it and all it did was give me a white screen before returning to the app, not logging me in. I tried to sign in 4 time before giving up. what's the point of a membership if it won't sign me in? app is slow, and it started to warm up my phone. my phone isn't old, but it's not new either, I had it for 8 months. Don't use if your Hangry, it'll make you not want the food.
The app is awful. I've tried ordering through it over and over. You just cant place orders. Error after error. Every time you try to refresh it or try again, it adds more and more silverware to the order, it adds duplicate credit cards as well. At one point it said i had 9 cards to choose from, but they were all the same one. I come back every month or so just to see if its been updated or fixed at all, it hasn't. I just order through the website and it works perfectly every single time. Deleted
glitchy app makes it impossible to actually place orders. kept having a cart for delivery switch over to a cart for pick up at a restaurant that's like an hour away. kept having issues with trying to redeem a free appetizer reward. closed out and reopened the app multiple times. by the time it actually let me put together a cart i got an error message because there were no delivery services available to handle my order.
What a headache!! Was in a long line at a Panda and i saw the sign about the app and that its a way to be hands free and easier to just pick up order, I place the order on the app while in the drive through, pull up give my name & confirmation number, was told to pull around and wait, waited there almost 30 mins before getting out and going in, only to find out that my order was placed at a different Panda where i would have to go in a casino, no option to change locations or cancel order. FML!
