My absolute favorite game for some reason lol I have been playing it every day now for almost 3 years! I hope sometime some of the characters that have been in the game for a while get updated soon I love playing them but I get killed almost instantly or there attacks are way to slow. Something I don't like about the game is that it can be hard to get diamonds and lots of the stuff in the game are pretty expensive.
I’ve been playing this game for about a year, I fell in live with it from the jump. I Love One Piece as a Manga and Anime and I’ve wanted a game that was like a battle royale and they did that and so much more. But after a couple of months of stagnant progress I gave in and put in some money and quickly progress and wanted to continue playing. Events for the most part are good and worth participating in. But I’ve noticed that that the Main Story has only been updated ONCE since the game debuted and the One Piece story is huge and to only have a fraction is a shame to Eiichiro Oda. I love the adding of characters but they aren’t balanced for online play. It’s obvious if you play that Shanks and Blackbeard are OP. Also the Multiplayer is broken because the Top 8000 players can be randomly matched with each other. Meaning someone who just got into League SS can be play people in the Top 100. I know this cause previous Champion Hub-Gang posted a video where I was on his team and I was ranked 4700+. I was outmatched and outclassed in that match. This isn’t fair to players and is why most new player stop playing after 3 days. I run an Alliance and my members have been dropping like flys due to being unable to feel any progress in the game. Developers need to address a lot of issues that they don’t pay attention to cause it isn’t generating money.
Before i say anything I need to add that this game is one of the best games I’ve played on mobile ever and it has too much potential to die but some things are getting worse and worse. First of all,the game gets boring after you die to an overpowered EX Character like Akainu, and there are starting to be less and less counters to him except for the newly added “First Mate Rayleigh” I personally think that the game is rearing it’s downfall with the hard process of beating Ex’s, leveling up characters, and getting rainbow diamonds. You shouldn’t be able to sell rainbow diamonds for such a high price because it is a rip-off. You can make the game more balanced and fun if you make the releases of EX characters more frequent since players can’t match the powerful attack sets of Akainu,Roger, and Oden. It doesn’t always need to be an anniversary event to release EX characters, but that’s just my opinion. One last thing, release more guaranteed 4 star character step-up scouts because people are starting to run low on rainbow diamonds just for A CHANCE to get one, for what reason does your logic need to be like this??? Some people spend MONEY just for A CHANCE of a 4 star/4 star EX character which baffles me. If you don’t do something about this the game will eventually die and even the content creators won’t be able to revive it.
Let me start of by saying this game is freaking amazing dude from the combat to the art style to the way they set up missions and everything in between and more! I love the characters and how they keep adding new ones and hope they add a bunch more. I love the animations from winning to pulling new characters to how they function. I love this game but I have noticed little things not even noticeable until I mention It, the animations are too fast not only animations but everything feels fast and I don’t like that cause I feel rushed and you’ll notice when you go to pull out another character or go fight in leagues battle and even the losing screens, I try reading them but it’s too fast and doesn’t give me time to grasp it and see every detail. When I said you’ll see when you pull out another character it’s because I noticed when they show them it’s so fast and It doesn’t give me that suspension like “I wonder who that is!” Or “oh I think it’s.. oh wait no it’s someone else” idk if most of that made sense but what I’m just trying to say it that the animations are way too fast and feels rushed and I just want to enjoy this game and notice the detail I hope you guys can do something about it and I would find that a lot of people might agree with me. It's amazing, the look and feel of the game especially when you're a one piece fan or like combat. I definitely recommend this if you are into combat. There are problems with the game if you don't have good Wi-Fi or connection. The reason you might glitch is: It's going under maintenance, someone is lagging the battle, your not connected, or someone else has McDonald's Wi-Fi. Other than that I do recommend this game.
If you like one piece, and battle royal games, then you would like playing this. There are not only league battles, but also side games that get you currency such as solo battles, challenge battles, and 60 second battles. You get gems to unlock characters, and you use your characters to play the game. You can level them up and they have almost every single character from the show one piece.
Good game. Fun to play. Just wish I didn't feel like it was pay to win. The Diamonds to summon with become harder at the higher levels and new characters drop in that are really good. But without buying diamonds you get to watch them go before you can obtain them. However this game is fun, and a great time with friends. Also I would like to see you add some more characters. You have the Shandor and Alabasta arc with huge amounts of characters that are unused. So many devil fruit users out there.
This game's a lot of fun, and I play it every day, but I think it has some balance issues, and many characters(Roger and Oden come to mind) make matches tedious, and make me want to give up since my highest level units can't stand a chance. Still, almost every OP character is in this game, and the capture the flag gameplay is short, sweet and fast paced which is what keeps me hooked. My advice: don't be discouraged if you get KOed a lot, it gets easier as you level up.
When I first heard of the Hydro boost feature I thought it would be in a battle you can trade the score for like a mini teen boost type of feature for one person so when you get to about 5000 to 6000 score you can trade that score for a mini team boost type of thing but it’s just for one person but my maintenance was over and I played the game I realize that hyper boost is nothing like that it’s we worst take the hydroboost feature away many pro players don’t like it thinks it’s a dumb idea look at your most subscribed one piece band you are you tuber at least take time out to look at him a lot of pro players don’t understand it which is fine but the thing is they don’t like the feature and I don’t either just take hydroboost out of the game Think about new players pickle ball players that have been playing for a few weeks or maybe a month and they’re just starting to really like this game and enjoy it I think about the players that have max characters and they’re so satisfied with themselves and then do you have to push the limits even more characters that are trying their hardest to get to boost one and boost to and now they have to boost the limits even more you’re gonna lose millions 35 million players you’re going to lose at least 10 million players and you’re gonna lose in a few months even more because players that are trying to play the game won’t because it will be too much of a load put on them
So this is my opinion so don’t get mad but I feel like some characters should have different moves or make gems more easy to get I feel like I have to pay to get characters like League of legends and I think Kaido needs a dragon move since that’s the most cool part about him but everything IS AWSOME the way it looks it’s so good it’s to good for mobile and the reason I started to write this will show now some characters NEED a different move set and it can get boring with the same move set also care to request from me:Cracker tankman luffy sugar and last is umm well that’s its I would like cracker to have a nice move set like he uses his warrior from start when broken he has to be forced to go to where it was so kinda long range but it’s fair since it will have a wide body I would like to see that and tankman should be just like a joke and sugar should be able to turn ppl into toys but you can’t attack them and they do half damage so it would be fun this got way to long but o yea last thing please add more game modes anyway this is still one of the best mobile games also make it so you fight people around your power more please hi me again I’ve edited this a lot but I have to say this is a event right make it so we have old characters come also like bullet and others I Loved bullet but I can’t get him more and my friend brags about how he had him please just nerf BB I just faced a level 81 with my level 80 blue unit and he killed me one shot
Hear me out. Your a one piece fan, obvious, your in the app store wanting something mugiwara and you see this. It seems better quality than all the other games, it is.....kinda, you play it. It's fun but a bit much on the phone. But hey you give it a shot and you're having a good time. And then you have a realization, this games pull rates are t r a s h. On top of being way too expensive to pull in bulk without some I'm game even or whaling. Other issues but out of words. Be wary of investing $
It's fairly good, but I wish there was a way to call for help during a match. I'm apparently "not meeting the score requirements", and warning me about restrictions. Newsflash, that's stupid af, and I can't do much when I keep getting one shotted out of nowhere or because I'm frozen for too slagging long! With how many people are running certain characters, it's a small miracle that I can move around at all, and that's what it feels like at times, if not all the time!🙄😠
It's a good game, but its more pay to win! It's frustrating when you're dealing with constant gameplay restrictions, from losing, because you're always matched against a team full of special characters! It kind of makes it impossible to win unless you pay for it! It gets very unbalanced, and you end up getting game play restrictions because of facts you have no control over unless you pay money! It could've been a 5star, but given the issues that I have discovered within the game, -2stars easy!
The game is fun but after a while it starts getting annoying to play. For instance I could be in A League and me and my teammates are just lvl 80 but ALL of the opposing team are all max lvl. Instead of making match making fair by putting half the max levels on each different side they put them all together and if you manage to win only earn a few extra points. Another annoying thing is the connection issue that seems to happen only on this game and has been so for years. Bandai please fix this.
I love One Piece, and this game has the potential to be amazing. The reason I don't give it five stars is because the devs very obviously try to squeeze every little ounce of time and money from players. Everything they do is designed in a way that you have to spend that extra $10 (after spending possibly hundreds). The game likes to trick players especially new ones when it comes to their banners and so on. All this without mentioning the fact that it is incredibly unbalanced. Record level.
New updates introduced a lot of bugs. The game play was never completely seamless, but it had never been this bad. Since the latest update, the game freezes mid battle and then suddenly it catches up and my character is dead or something else significant has happened. Before the creators say anything, this is NOT an internet connection issue. This is an issue with the game. I'm actually considering uninstalling after 2+ years because these bugs have taken a lot of fun away from playing it.
It's a fun game, the controls are good, graphics are good, but I only give it 3 stars cause they put u against players that are way to strong and the only way to level up is to beat those players. so it's way to hard to level up a character without spending money. I think they should make it easier to level up characters, they should make it where you only have to get like 50 fragments to level up not 500, and it's all random when you can exchange points for fragments. It's a pay to win game.
I love this game and it's fun but if you don't have all bars of Wi-Fi it freezes you and doesn't let you go until last minute or until you get kicked out. I think instead of kicking players out if their internet barely stops working you should make it to where you can wait for the internet. And the penalty Is extra and there's no point in stopping the rewards if you get kicked out. This just leads to people uninstalling the game and bad reviews.
Update, they seemed to have fixed most of the bugs, I rarely even get disconnected or have the game freeze. Please aim for a better rebalancing of the characters. Ive added more stars to the review - Game has too many bugs lately as of the newest update. You sometimes freeze and can't do anything except watch your team lose, if your app doesn't close altogether. Please address the bugs. And make more characters usable. You can't claim hundreds of characters when 90% of them are too weak to use
the game itself is fun, multiplayer can be interesting if i wasnt put up against so many high level players. at some point its not just a matter of skill that determines who is the better player, its the amount of time/money they have sunk into the game. just started a hour or two ago and already after hitting C rank fighting people who have max level character with crafted equipment that can one-shot me at any moment.
Extremely unbalanced game, but the gameplay works on paper. It's a simple game to understand, yet due to the terrible matchmaking system which basically doesn't exist makes it frustrating to actually play. You will go against people who can and will kill you very easily. Of course adjusting the broken characters won't happen so until you get those same characters you're going to struggle ranking up. Overall, the game is not worth playing, not even close.
first things first,I've known this game since about 3 years ago, and it was way too PAY TO WIN, and it still is, if you have a lvl 100 strong character on your team , it's a free win and if it's on enemy's team it's a 100% lose. the matchmaking is horrible both in league and casual mode , which makes it hard to try new characters. You have to main just 2 heroes and stick to them until the end. such a waisted potential w great graphics and gameplay
As much as I like this game, it has many drawbacks. Sometimes, it's annoying to navigate and even move around. There are simply too many collectibles/currencies in this game that serve different purposes. There's gold, gems, shards, orbs, character fragments, hammers, badges, and even emblems. There's no reason for this other than to have it. My final frustration is that this is a pay-to-win game. It doesn't matter how good you are if someone spent more than you!
I really like the idea of this game. It can really be a great mobile game. That being said, the matchmaking system is absolutely attrocious. Along with that, the pay-to-win system really puts a bad taste in everyone's mouth. If you don't buy one of the absolutely and unfairly broken characters, you're almost guaranteed to be killed in one hit. Then, when you finally do get your hands on one of these super rare characters, you're matched up against players twice your strength in league battles.
was super super fun and had a lot of built up progress and lots of rare characters, stopped playing for a while cause I got caught up with work but never deleted the app, went to play again and it stayed I had been logged out and couldn't retrieve my account data and I had to restart. Quite upset and disappointed. Im pretty sure I've spent money on that account and I lost some good stuff and the desire to play
This game is terrible. You have to work with a garbage gacha system that gives you ridiculously low chances of getting a single character, and on top of that, you have to get another 2 copies of that same character that you're unlikely to get even 1 copy of, just for them to be somewhat playable! The "League" system is also garbage, the amount of mistmatches are insane. There's an abundance of hackers as far as the eye can see. And much more! Play at your own risk! Highly encourage to avoid!
A terrific game in regards to gameplay, ruined in terms of pay-to-win. It costs $234 USD for the newest character, and he is hands down the best unit to have touched the game. Bandai knows this, and gives free-to-play horrible odds to obtain it through packs. Every high-rank match now has whale'd accounts with 1000s of dollars put into them. The pvp side has become unplayable unless you have the most recent, broken characters. Otherwise perfect, and goes above and beyond for a mobile game.
Use to love this game,but one you might as well buy a ps5 for the amount of money you have to spend for a legendary character, and when you spend the money its not even guaranteed you get them,plus the fighting system isn't fair one player to op,and they don't know how to even out the vs games,not worth my time or money anymore about to uninstall!
This game has so much potential. The balancing in bounty rush is abysmal. They release characters so broken you cannot play if you dont have them and charge over $200 for a single character. They release updates to balance the game and its 4 characters twice a year. The greed of this company is immeasurable. I love one piece and it saddens me that its so pay to win. You can get lucky but if you dont you're not playing for a few months until the next broken character drops
Poor server, too many hackers in the game. I'm playing the game normally when suddenly a hacker ruins the fun. And I my avatar sometimes switch on the enemies side and I cannot play the game. Some scenarios i can't move at all. The punishment is unnecessary when you always lose the connection. The server is bad too. This game has a potential if you guys fix this problem.
