Network IP Port Scanner

4.3
A Network IP Port Scanner App is a tool used to scan and analyze the ports of an IP address or a range of IP addresses. This app is designed to help network administrators and security professionals identify open ports, services running on those ports, and potential vulnerabilities in a network. The app works by sending out TCP or UDP packets to specific ports and waiting for a response. It then records which ports are open and what services are running on them. This information can be crucial for identifying potential security risks, such as open ports that could be exploited by hackers. Network IP Port Scanner Apps typically have a user-friendly interface that allows users to easily input IP addresses or ranges and customize the scan settings. Some apps also offer additional features, such as the ability to save scan results, export data, and perform advanced scans. Overall, a Network IP Port Scanner App is an essential tool for network administrators and security professionals to maintain the security and integrity of their networks.

Networks IP Port Scanner offers (at least for me) helpful tools and insight on wether or not u might be at risk and what you can do to protect yourself if u are. Their free service is more then enough but if you are willing to pay a little for a lot more for peace of mind then look no further. Thank u Network IP Port Scanner you guys definitely got it right and I would recommend your app to anyone and everyone

nifty little tool u got here, just FYI to anyone using this going for the slowest most thorough scan, remember to turn off battery optimization and unfreeze it in any mass hibernation apps like super freeze cause just wasted like 30 minutes of my life 😂, but kudos my dumb move aside super handy and easy as hell to use, most recent updated software on OnePlus 8 pro as of Dec 13 2021 just to specify works fantastic on this phone later will review with a moto z Droid if I remember 😂

Great app that does what's advertised. Very nice in the current world. I would like to be able to do remote pen test it possible but I can see the implications for that. Would it be possible to tell at which hop the port is open at all, if not can we maybe add that as a feature.

This seems to be a very good tool, I like the fact it displays MAC address as well as IP addresses. I would like to see a search option to be able to search for IP & Mac addresses. At the moment I'm having to pull my laptop out just for this feature which is counter intuitive. Not the end of the world but having a search feature would be fantastic and something other similar apps I've tried don't have. 🙂

I was concerned that I didn't know enough about my network and current set up, so I downloaded a couple of network scanner apps. They gave me some information but this app blows them away. The data it provides is comprehensive and clear, it deserves every one of the five stars given. Needless to say - the other apps have been uninstalled.

Network IP Port Scanner is easy to use & once installed it's very efficient at doing exactly what's claimed for the app. It works without making any unnecessary requests, (such as wanting access to your personal information & all the other apps on your phone). Genuine, no nonsense, fast security app...

App is well laid out and has a clean design. Appears to be accurate in its scanning in comparison to other tools I have used in the past. Would be nice if it would walk through a very quick setup and demo at the begining to point out key items or settings otherwise you have to hunt for these things. I was also disapointed to find it was not optimized for my tablet. Otherwise the app looks very well done.

I think they are on the right track as a starter. The ability to add up addresses are good. But will be nice to also add websites as well to target scanning and offer that as a service. Again not optimized for my mobile device 100% . The icons show numbers but does not specifically show the items . Overall a good start and may be a great app and service

Great tool for your personal security toolbox. It's port scanning is extremely fast, I have never seen anything like this in other apps! I was a bit confused though (probably my fault) as I installed it a long time ago without using it then. Now that I launched it, I saw the portal so thought the app was only a proprietary paid portal. But then it turned out that all the functions just worked without a paid account. Thanks for making these tools free to use for everyone :)

Well here's my updated review. My comment about ads was incorrect. Unless it was clicked through to a website, the dev. is correct regarding no ads. It still freezes after completing a full port scan but upon restart the result of the scan is there to see. Apart from the post scan un-responsive issue, the app looks good & is easy enough to use which I find is not that common. The Play instruction video is good too. I hope that addresses my previous inappropriate review. (Lightning/lightening!)

Really good. Works well and scans fast enough. Provides decent feedback and options as well. The only thing I would like to see is if it would be possible for you to add a notification/alarm whenever a new IP address is detected in its area. I had a situation trying to track an IP address and it was a random one that would occasionally pop on and then go back off. A notification/alarm setting would definitely put this already good app above all the others of a similar type. Thank you very much.

I like how the app is presented, I also like how you can do a self test. Unfortunately for me it kept freezing and having to force close. One concern I had was, there was another app advertised to try for free but to try it I had to log into my Google account entering my Google password. I have no idea who these developers are though and unfortunately there is so much identity theft and the like that I just wasn't comfortable. Hoping the bugs get worked out.

location of a tracker is a hit and miss. I have 4 airtag next to me and sometimes it doesn't find any at all. Other times it finds 1. When it does find them, it's great as it can activate the tracker to play a sound. Not sure if it's my issue. I'm prepared to buy the pro version of this app if it works every time

Decent interface. Not seen any ads so far. No invasive permission requests. Unfortunately results are frequently wrong. Today I have a filter manager copying files to a server on standard windows ports and after multiple attempts yet neither port scan detects any open ports on that server. Pretty useless. Also fails to detect local IP range changes and continues trying to scan ranges that don't exist.

Sorry to say , but the app really does not cut the mustard for me. I was expecting a tad more additions within. More tools, such as , simple ping , tracert , and maybe a simple speed test. There is much more out there that makes your app , let's say , feeble ( sorry..). Two stars reflect its tidyness.

it is not very well written because it cannot detect my ethernet card, which I then went to another app and it worked flawlessly. so it seems that supporting ethernet connection is the standard and this app is lacking. if you don't want to support all networking types then rename the network part of the name to wi-fi. if you can add Ethernet support or change your name to indicate that it's only Wi-Fi I'd be happy to delete my review

Great app, but if you want to check more than a couple thousand ports (i.e. checking for all weak points), the app just crashes. Starts loading the analysis and stops within 1/2 a second.

very shady practices, after a few correct results they started modifying the results to either show no open ports (when there was!) or only show half of the actual open ports result and hide the other open ports,so you are under the impression that fewer or no ports are open when there actually is,deceptive to say the least. And also tried to block the usage of another app that i use for the same purpose as theirs.

2 days after installing this app someone hijacked my phone. Never happened before. I could hear them doing things while it was in my pocket. They did some stuff on my Facebook (2 factor authentication is on) and then I heard them using the phone dialer. They were entering a code, but I stopped them just in time. Uninstalling this app.

Not sure this one works with the newest Android updates - Won't start scan without WiFi, and acts like there is no WiFi when phone connected to local network by Ethernet and WiFi. Edit after developer reply - So this is not a Network IP Port Scanner, but ONLY a WiFi port scanner. It does not work through physical ethernet port devices like Samsung Dex Compatible breakout dongles. There also seems to be several almost identical apps with different names but identical screen layouts and features.
