used this for years now. it's good. it needs more though. it needs to have moon phases, would help for those who keep track of it, be it for gardening/farming, photography, sky gazing, etc. also would be nice to have the option to add holidays from other cultures as not everyone solely celebrates only the ones shown. it would also be nice if there were more customizable color choices for the memos. no real complaints. I like that you get notifications for your memos as well.

I love it, but I can't turn the widget dark. I used to use to calendar apps because I wanted a dark widget, but I got tired of having two notifications all the time. Plus this is the better app. It's a great calendar, but the white widget doesn't go with my dark-mode phone. That's why I gave it four stars. If Google changed the option to have dark mode, it would receive five stars.

I have been a GOOGLE CALENDAR user for years and absolutely love it! My only issue is I wish you all would add more colors to it. I know there is about 10 but I would really love to see more. I have 7 people to keep up with, and it is so much easier if I can color code all of it. but right now some of it has to go to the default color. Or maybe get symbols to add for Drs Appt, Birthday, Holidays, etc.

I decided to try another calendar after having used Samsung's calendar. Google's works great, however I found it doesn't suit my needs. I rely on the alarm alerting me when an event is upcoming to ensure I'm prepared in time. Google's calendar alarm is limited to a single chirp which goes easily unheard if the phone isn't within immediate reach, and as a result, a couple events have been missed. The longer, continuous alarm requiring a swipe to close (or the choice of alarms) is more reliable.

The Google calendar is excellent. It's easy to set schedules and a breeze to edit. One thing I like about it is the ability to set up to five reminders of upcoming events. It's simple to customize the reminders, and they can be set for minutes, hours, days, and weeks. I appreciate being able to see an individual day or the entire month. Between the Google calendar, Alexa, and Google home I'm no longer forgetting appointments and schedules for each day. I love it!
