The website used to give me problems, a few things were fixed however. For instance, there had to be dashes in the card number, the expiration date of the card had to be the full year (ex: 10/2026, not 10/26), and you had to select either Mastercard or Visa. These issues have been fixed with the new update in the app and website, so if you previously had a problem, you may find that the problem has been fixed. Your card should have a registered address (no prepaids). I think that's it! :)
Admittedly, I too had some issues adding money to my love one's account, however, after a few days, everything worked as it should. On occasion, I still have difficulties processing credit/debit card transactions to add funds. Having problems? Reach out to Access Corrections Help Service. They were very nice and more than willing to help resolve my credit card issues.
Frustrating. Select the secureMail option 1st then log in. Do not pay for plans, do not pay to print or scan replies - you are just giving them $ and they do not tell you if an option is not possible so you lose the money. I appreciate that this is an option but it is archaic and frustrating to use. Make sure photos are 4x3. Share credits with the inmates. After an update, check share settings, they switch to NO. It's just one more way to make money off families of incarcerated individuals.
So complicated! After I log in on the app and click "securemail" it asks me 3 times if I'm sure I want to leave the page! Then it takes me to another page where I have to log in again! And there's no option to save my login info, so I have to type it in every time. And I can't save the second page to save some steps, either.
This App has two problems. 1. System Unavailable: -1074. 2. Transaction history is not accessible at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. I'm trying to react you guys through phone number & Email with no results. How do we contact or send money to our Love Ones to support there needs. So I hope you fix this server issue.
terrible so for whatever reason the app won't take my deposit I called customer service they are really not helpful they are rude the one lady hung up on me one sent me to the survey im trying to figure out why the payment wasn't going through but my bank is showing it's pending I did 14 transactions thinking maybe it's my card ect and they see the charges but they are still saying nothing went through so hi told them maybe it's the app they said your not verified but ive been using app for year
I've been using the app for sometime and generally things worked well. But ever since November, any attempt to send money results in an error message. Yet the bank shows the request to send money was successful, indicating the error was not caused by myself or the bank. The funds are shown as pending until after about 5 days when the transaction is cancelled. Using the website works, so it seems the problem is somewhere in the app. One star until it's fixed.
They accepted money off my credit card without a problem but I can't send an email and I have no idea why. If I don't have the option to send an email then why even notify me and make it look like there is an option? Does anyone know if you can actually send an email with this stupid app??? The other BS part is if you send $19.99 it'll charge you $4.95, but send $20 (& up to $99.99) & its $7.95. I wonder how many send $20 & get hit for $7.95! that's BS!!!
system is glitching big time. been trying to send money for 3 days now. first day it kept blocking me from the site. day 2 & 3 it says my info is incorrect to log in. I try to reset password and it tells me there is no account linked to my email. I've been using that email for my account for over 5 months, how is it not in the system all of a sudden. been told NO one in the jail is getting money because of the glitches. chat isn't working and phone is automated, no way to speak to agents.
I have been trying to load funds for the last 3 hours. And it has been something with the OnLive system. It is forever logging in, and then I click on the send money it just sits there like I never clicked on it. If you wait long enough, it says error with system.If you don't have the funds on there by a certain time,your loved one has to wait a whole other week. I it's not their loved ones,so they don't give a ..... I guess they want more money.So they'd rather have $9+ instead of the 7+online
You try to use charge card "on-line" or through the "app" only to get "There has been an error processing your credit card" or "Error The system is currently unavailable" so you have to call them. To deposit funds to an account, on-line it's $7.95 process fee but it is $9.95 if you talk to someone. They say they can't credit or lower the process fee. Why should I have to pay more when the error is Access Corrections, not I. Be warned if anyone plans to send a person locked up.
Downloaded app to phone, used laptop, computer, chrome, edge, to send $$ to a loved one and filled out all as needed. When it comes to adding the card, the lines to type it in doesn't even come out then it gives me a timing error. Customer svc says it's because the inmates location is not available but other inmates there, are receiving funds through that system for Rio Grande. Frustrating.
Seems I get a lot of errors messages. Works on occasion, but it's very frustrating. I fear it's easily hacked. Is my info secure? IMO ... need lots of work. I'm using this app, but I don't have other options. I've been trying to send my son a package for days, and I'm still getting the error message, so it doesn't let me even get to that page.
it is ridiculous you make a payment on app, charge 12.95 for the transaction then are required to call in and stay on hold for up 30 mins to certify the payment is from a legitimate banking institution. if you call the main number and make a payment you are still flagged!
deposited money on May 2nd and it has now been 20 days and my son has not received any money. unable to speak with customer service put on hold for an hour facility stated that the money was there but he has not been able to receive it . when I contact access their I have an account took the money this app is terrible I'm trying to get my money back. I wish someone would just say something to me.
I couldn't be more unhappy with this app. I've been trying to change my password for over a week, and I can't! They don't help you with anything. I've followed all the instructions for changing it. Nothing works. It's extremely expensive to send money without the app. I tried calling. Finally, I emailed them, and I'm waiting to hear back.
Horrible App and Website. It will charge you $9.99 "one time fee" (every time) to sign up. Then, you received an email that will send you back to repeat the same process. It doesn't confirm if your deposit was sent for video calls, entertainment, or commissary. Also, there is an additional fee depending on the amount of money you deposit.
