The biggest downfall of your service is that your desktop client, unlike other remote access softwares, does not allow for keyboard shortcuts to be forwarded to the remote computer. It's very annoying to not be able to alt-tab while working on a remote desktop. Fix this and you are more than deserving of five stars. Your mobile app is better than your desktop client for this reason, although some gestures are a little verbose. Edit: You can actually fix this by changing a registry key...

Consider this as negative star not even one . When using 9 out of 10 times it doesn't gives error code instead of connecting to the account. Also when typing can't type special characters , have to struggle with options in extended keyboard. Simply a waste of time and energy leading to frusttration .

Only 1 major issue here in this app which in android smartphone which is very annoying . If by mistake I have clicked on back button, it takes me out and when I try to go inside my virtual desktop, it takes me back to login screen. There should be a confirmation message when I accidentally click on back button that whether I really want to exit or not.

new update is not too good because slider menu is making my work too hard it is taking time to click on it and also if once we click on back button it is taking me out from the main page of organisation hence we need to reopen it and this feature is wasting time too. kindly provide the old features which wath before this update

Very poor experience. Every time trying to install Citrix Workspace to be able to enter into Connect Care or other EMR, it remains unclear if Citrix Receiver is needed or not. Downloading the latest Citrix Workspace does not seem to be enough. This issue keeps reoccuring... IT techs assume everyone is IT expert. No, the users can be just lay people in terms of IT, or have some knowledge, but not everyone has to be expert in IT to be able to use an app, or whatever needed for their work.

I don't have a good experience. Downloaded on three devices, worked on two when first downloaded, hasn't worked since. No support from Citrix despite contacting them at work IT useless. Been waiting a month for them to sort it out as I need it before I start working remotely.

If Ienable Audio in setttings and open a connection. that immediately crashes, when the very first app try to uses my BLE Headphone with microphone.

Not great. The citrix menu appears on screen but it doesn't do anything most of the time which makes toggling the mouse and kbd impossible

installed app is a ghost. I have a Samsung Galaxy s23 and citrix does not show up in installed apps in personal or work profile. found again in Play store. re-enabled and updated. launched app and used it, but when I went to add to homescreen, it is nowhere to be found. Android 15, One UI 7.0, Security patch July 1, 2025.

Generally good, however recent updates have not been good: The mouse function has some sort of acceleration now which makes it worse to use on a touch screen phone. This change needs to be reverted. Also please make the toolbar menu dropdown smaller like it used to be. It now takes up unnecessary space on the screen. Also I wish it would stop disconnecting every time I change app on my phone and then return to Citrix. Otherwise it's a good app.

This is good but can you PLEASE change the top tool bar functionality so that it disconnects the sesstion NOT log out the machine, in line with the desktop app?? The number of times i've logged out my machine (with no way of cancelling) while using this instead of just disconnecting is very frustrating. We don't need a log off button in the tool bar, we need a disconnect button, in line with the desktop app.

I'm using the app since more than a year, many changes made but I think it should be made more user friendly so that people may use this app without any problem as far as my concern I could not use it appropriately for both reading as well as writing of emails I think this difficulty may because of its compatibility issue with mobile phone. One more thing I say that many times it gets hanged while entering the password for login. I think it needs some changes.

Worst app ever. I installed this app to access the mail & I had the worst experience. It takes quite an effort even to move the cursor successfully to the desired mail or content. Also, in order to write a mail, this app provides a virtual keyboard (which is the only option since phone keyboard doesn't work here) which disappears everytime you need to correct your content. Further, one needs to have a lot of patience in order to select the virtual keyboard from the drop down in the first place.

I'm not able to use my keyboard to reply to emails. Sometimes it takes me 5 tries to get logged in bc it says error. All kinds of bugs. Very annoying. Basically the only thing I can do is check my work schedule and read messages,but not respond. I don't like the app at all and wish they'd fix it. I've complained about these same issues before and gotten nowhere.

It can take an inordinate amount of troubleshooting and luck to get it to connect and actually run programs, yet when it finally opens it is very difficult to get it to respond to commands on anything other than a desktop computer. Something that should take two seconds or less, such as selecting an option on the screen, can easily take 5 minutes or more. It is an excellent idea in theory, but very time consuming and overly demanding in its specifications for use in practice.

this app is terrible. every upgrade makes zero sense. the epic app no longer opens on this app. all other apps will open and work properly, but not the epic one...the main one I use. and when it does connect, it will only come up in landscape mode. I need it to be in portrait. this just started happening..I can't stress how horrible this app is update 8/25...still horrible. works part of the time but today it's back to not opening epic. they don't care

Citrix as a solution hasn't improved a bit in years. And this app, as soon as you minimize/switch the window, the connection fails. You lock the screen for a moment, the connection fails. Citrix has poor connection resilience in general. Mouse pointer is offset to the right. Keyboard is erratic. This app has survived probably because there are no alternatives.

Works surprisingly well, but two complaints: -There isn't a button in the toolbar to just disconnect (or it's not obvious, hitting back seems to be the correct way), the button that seems to do that will sign me out before disconnecting, which is not wanted. -There should be an option to enable cursor by default (not obvious if this is an option already), since the tap click isn't great when accessing a VM on a phone.

Using this App on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in Samsung Dex mode. The app is pretty decent. However, When I have the window fully maximized, I accidentally close the window all the time, as I always mix up the 'X' in the top right corner with an app within a Citrix Windows environment. There should be a way to minimize that top bar so people don't accidentally close Citrix all the time. And I mean ALL the time. I always have to re-log in, which is annoying.

The keyboard and auto zoom and centering has a complete mind of its own. One second the keyboard is up, the next its gone. Clicking on certain boxes causes the window to auto zoom and center - just all bizarre behaviors and I cant figure out what triggers them. The gestures are unique to this app and don't really follow the norms of mobile interfaces in terms of scroll and zoom. I just want the screen to remain in the full view with the keyboard pinned, please just make this a checkbox option.

Utterly Buggy app. It was still getting the job done amidst multiple issues. However it has become extremely annoying after a recent update post which It does not run properly in the background with an error message depicting "App not unavailable" the moment it is minimised or switched to a different app. Release notes mentions as Bug fixes or should it be as Introducing New Bugs. How does an update reach consumers without proper testing something which gets me perplexed.

This is one of the worst app of modern time. The citrix ecosystem is still in 1999. They made basic features like typing and scrolling a cumbersome task. Support team takes ages to answer the calls. I don't know why corporates are still using this app . Frequent crashes, inexplicable software issues and random shut downs and the list goes on and on. Not even one thing that I can appreciate about this app. I urge all to please avoid it at all cost. Not worth it!

Generally works great. Used on S9/S10e/Note20 with Samsung Dex i don't need a laptop/pc anymore. It can disrupt internet acces for other apps running at the same time: Video conferencing gets disrupted when accessing larger files in the virtual desktop. Strange because the file access is on the remote server, not on the phone. Hope this will be fixed soon. Would be great to be able to work in the virtual desktop while video conferencing, sharing the screen without loosing connection.

Workspace continues to get better. My WebEx calls are good with voice and video. SLACK calls don't work so well anymore they just continue to ring and never connect even though myself or the other party has connected. However, most things work well and look forward to it continuing to get better. Note, I just downloaded the latest version and will update this should I have any issues.

I’ve been using the combination of the Citrix Workspace app and its predecessor Citrix Receiver for almost 6 years now and both have been very useful in improving my efficiency during the day as a long distance commuter by allowing me to travel and use my iPad to quickly connect and work remotely on my work’s Citrix servers. Unfortunately, after I updated my iPad to iOS 13, I was no longer able to connect to my work as the iOS 13 update prevented the Workspace app from communicating with my secure browser. I wrote to the iOS Workspace app team and provided them with the technical information about what was preventing me from connecting, and they listened and released an update within a week that got me back connected to my work! Thanks for the great customer service and enabling me to work remotely again.

This app no longer works for me. I'm not really sure what happened but the problem started after my computer died and restarted and I think the app must have updated with the reboot. Ever since I have not been able to get into my company's apps to do any documentation at home, which is incredibly inconvenient and has been a big headache. I talked to several different people in tech support at work and after troubleshooting they all said it must be an issue with the citrix app. Please fix!!

Citrix Receiver is great and works admirably; however, there is one major thing that would make the application better. Not sure of the technical feasibility, though. Here is the issue. Working on enterprise apps from a touch-centric device is not easy. Scrolling in Word docs, pdfs, or other applications is a challenge. Moving and resizing windows is also difficult. Editing documents is generally smooth, but has its pain points, too. This may not be anything that Citrix can fix -- it may just be an artifact of navigating windows through a touch interface. Nevertheless, if there is some way to ease the burden of interfacing with a remote Windows machine, that would be a substantial and worthy improvement.

Please give us a way to disable the stupid keyboard bar and the Apple keyboard overlay when a Bluetooth (or wired) keyboard is in use. Also, please find a way to keep it from timing out ~30 seconds after switching focus away from the app. It’s a huge pain to re-enter password + 2FA creeds every time. It would also be awesome if Citrix could use the system-configured mouse tracking speed settings. Also, what’s up with the whole screen moving up an inch every time text is entered with a keyboard? The only way I know how to fix this is to CMD+Tab away and CMD+Tab back to the app. Using an Apple Magic Mouse feels great on an iPad Pro M1 12.9”, but it feels weird within Citrix. It’s hard to describe. Speaking of that, the natural scrolling setting needs to be read from iOS system settings. I had to toggle it off in iOS and again in Citrix to get it working the way I like it.

UPDATE: Why can't the dropdown-arrow menu be smaller and moved around, like on the ipad and PC app? I raised this issue over a year ago and nothing has been done. I'm lowering one star. Often I have tabs open in web browser and the arrow icon, which you can't move, blocks the tab or other features, requiring me to get creative. This is all unnecessary. If the android app had the same functionality as other Citrix versions, problem would be solved. Get on it devs!

I used to be able to use this app just fine on my iPad. Then out of nowhere, it just started acting up on me. I can’t use my magic keyboard unless the onscreen keyboard is toggled. You can imagine how annoying it is to try to work and navigate around your screen with a big digital keyboard in the way. But what really drove this review was that, as of recent, it randomly logs me out multiple times throughout the day. When this happens, it won’t notify me, the only way I know is because the app will start glitching and won’t allow me to click or type anything at all. This obviously is extremely disruptive to my work since I have to log in again every time with a 2-step verification. But as of today, regardless if I’m logged in, the keyboard will not type at all. Keep in mind, my trackpad works just fine, but it doesn’t allow me to actually type. The pop up box for the word suggestions is picking up the letters I enter, but they are not displaying on the virtual desktop. You can see the type tool blinking as it usually does when you’re typing in a Word docs, for example, but no words actually populate. Each time I’ve reached out to Citrix, they tell me they can’t help.

I used to love this App, however since the last few updates there is a bug/ problem with recognizing external screen resolutions properly leading to a highly skewed picture output on an external monitor when mirroring from an iPad. I‘m sharing this here as a part of my review as unfortunately Citrix makes it impossible for an end user to get help or raise a ticket for this App on their homepage and are always referring you to the IT support from your own company who is administering the system for you. Unfortunately they cannot help with a problem like this which seems to be a bug introduced with one of the latest updates (worked perfectly before). So please dear Citrix developer, if you read this give end users the opportunity to share feedback with you or report a problem and pleas fix this issue as otherwise this becomes very annoying to use. I will defiantly give you 5 stars for this App once the issue is fixed. Thank you.

Aside from being my personal device, my phone also doubles as my work phone. It’s nice to know that if I needed to jump into work for a moment that I can log in and [kind of] get things done. My only complaint is that even with a large phone screen (iPhone 11 Pro Max), it can be cumbersome to navigate things. Not sure if this is a Citrix app issue or the software that allows me to use Citrix to log in remotely. That’s my only reason for a 4 star rating. While it’s nice to have the option to work whenever/wherever I need to, it sometimes takes pinpoint precision to properly “click” things like scroll bars and drop down menus. Again, not sure if this is the app’s issue, but other than that, great app.

When this happens, it won’t notify me, the only way I know is because the app will start glitching and won’t allow me to click or type anything at all. This obviously is extremely disruptive to my work since I have to log in again every time with a 2-step verification. But as of today, regardless if I’m logged in, the keyboard will not type at all. Keep in mind, my trackpad works just fine, but it doesn’t allow me to actually type. The pop up box for the word suggestions is picking up the letters I enter, but they are not displaying on the virtual desktop. You can see the type tool blinking as it usually does when you’re typing in a Word docs, for example, but no words actually populate. Each time I’ve reached out to Citrix, they tell me they can’t help.

It can take an inordinate amount of troubleshooting and luck to get it to connect and actually run programs, yet when it finally opens it is very difficult to get it to respond to commands on anything other than a desktop computer. Something that should take two seconds or less, such as selecting an option on the screen, can easily take 5 minutes or more. It is an excellent idea in theory, but very time consuming and overly demanding in its specifications for use in practice.

This app no longer works for me. I'm not really sure what happened but the problem started after my computer died and restarted and I think the app must have updated with the reboot. Ever since I have not been able to get into my company's apps to do any documentation at home, which is incredibly inconvenient and has been a big headache. I talked to several different people in tech support at work and after troubleshooting they all said it must be an issue with the citrix app. Please fix!!

Aside from being my personal device, my phone also doubles as my work phone. It’s nice to know that if I needed to jump into work for a moment that I can log in and [kind of] get things done. My only complaint is that even with a large phone screen (iPhone 11 Pro Max), it can be cumbersome to navigate things. Not sure if this is a Citrix app issue or the software that allows me to use Citrix to log in remotely. That’s my only reason for a 4 star rating. While it’s nice to have the option to work whenever/wherever I need to, it sometimes takes pinpoint precision to properly “click” things like scroll bars and drop down menus. Again, not sure if this is the app’s issue, but other than that, great app.

Consider this as negative star not even one . When using 9 out of 10 times it doesn't gives error code instead of connecting to the account. Also when typing can't type special characters , have to struggle with options in extended keyboard. Simply a waste of time and energy leading to frusttration .

Only 1 major issue here in this app which in android smartphone which is very annoying . If by mistake I have clicked on back button, it takes me out and when I try to go inside my virtual desktop, it takes me back to login screen. There should be a confirmation message when I accidentally click on back button that whether I really want to exit or not.

new update is not too good because slider menu is making my work too hard it is taking time to click on it and also if once we click on back button it is taking me out from the main page of organisation hence we need to reopen it and this feature is wasting time too. kindly provide the old features which wath before this update

Very poor experience. Every time trying to install Citrix Workspace to be able to enter into Connect Care or other EMR, it remains unclear if Citrix Receiver is needed or not. Downloading the latest Citrix Workspace does not seem to be enough. This issue keeps reoccuring... IT techs assume everyone is IT expert. No, the users can be just lay people in terms of IT, or have some knowledge, but not everyone has to be expert in IT to be able to use an app, or whatever needed for their work.

I don't have a good experience. Downloaded on three devices, worked on two when first downloaded, hasn't worked since. No support from Citrix despite contacting them at work IT useless. Been waiting a month for them to sort it out as I need it before I start working remotely.

installed app is a ghost. I have a Samsung Galaxy s23 and citrix does not show up in installed apps in personal or work profile. found again in Play store. re-enabled and updated. launched app and used it, but when I went to add to homescreen, it is nowhere to be found. Android 15, One UI 7.0, Security patch July 1, 2025.

Generally good, however recent updates have not been good: The mouse function has some sort of acceleration now which makes it worse to use on a touch screen phone. This change needs to be reverted. Also please make the toolbar menu dropdown smaller like it used to be. It now takes up unnecessary space on the screen. Also I wish it would stop disconnecting every time I change app on my phone and then return to Citrix. Otherwise it's a good app.

Utterly Buggy app. It was still getting the job done amidst multiple issues. However it has become extremely annoying after a recent update post which It does not run properly in the background with an error message depicting "App not unavailable" the moment it is minimised or switched to a different app. Release notes mentions as Bug fixes or should it be as Introducing New Bugs. How does an update reach consumers without proper testing something which gets me perplexed.

This is good but can you PLEASE change the top tool bar functionality so that it disconnects the sesstion NOT log out the machine, in line with the desktop app?? The number of times i've logged out my machine (with no way of cancelling) while using this instead of just disconnecting is very frustrating. We don't need a log off button in the tool bar, we need a disconnect button, in line with the desktop app.

This is one of the worst app of modern time. The citrix ecosystem is still in 1999. They made basic features like typing and scrolling a cumbersome task. Support team takes ages to answer the calls. I don't know why corporates are still using this app . Frequent crashes, inexplicable software issues and random shut downs and the list goes on and on. Not even one thing that I can appreciate about this app. I urge all to please avoid it at all cost. Not worth it!

Generally works great. Used on S9/S10e/Note20 with Samsung Dex i don't need a laptop/pc anymore. It can disrupt internet acces for other apps running at the same time: Video conferencing gets disrupted when accessing larger files in the virtual desktop. Strange because the file access is on the remote server, not on the phone. Hope this will be fixed soon. Would be great to be able to work in the virtual desktop while video conferencing, sharing the screen without loosing connection.

The biggest downfall of your service is that your desktop client, unlike other remote access softwares, does not allow for keyboard shortcuts to be forwarded to the remote computer. It's very annoying to not be able to alt-tab while working on a remote desktop. Fix this and you are more than deserving of five stars. Your mobile app is better than your desktop client for this reason, although some gestures are a little verbose. Edit: You can actually fix this by changing a registry key...

I'm using the app since more than a year, many changes made but I think it should be made more user friendly so that people may use this app without any problem as far as my concern I could not use it appropriately for both reading as well as writing of emails I think this difficulty may because of its compatibility issue with mobile phone. One more thing I say that many times it gets hanged while entering the password for login. I think it needs some changes.

Worst app ever. I installed this app to access the mail & I had the worst experience. It takes quite an effort even to move the cursor successfully to the desired mail or content. Also, in order to write a mail, this app provides a virtual keyboard (which is the only option since phone keyboard doesn't work here) which disappears everytime you need to correct your content. Further, one needs to have a lot of patience in order to select the virtual keyboard from the drop down in the first place.

I'm not able to use my keyboard to reply to emails. Sometimes it takes me 5 tries to get logged in bc it says error. All kinds of bugs. Very annoying. Basically the only thing I can do is check my work schedule and read messages,but not respond. I don't like the app at all and wish they'd fix it. I've complained about these same issues before and gotten nowhere.

Works surprisingly well, but two complaints: -There isn't a button in the toolbar to just disconnect (or it's not obvious, hitting back seems to be the correct way), the button that seems to do that will sign me out before disconnecting, which is not wanted. -There should be an option to enable cursor by default (not obvious if this is an option already), since the tap click isn't great when accessing a VM on a phone.

Citrix as a solution hasn't improved a bit in years. And this app, as soon as you minimize/switch the window, the connection fails. You lock the screen for a moment, the connection fails. Citrix has poor connection resilience in general. Mouse pointer is offset to the right. Keyboard is erratic. This app has survived probably because there are no alternatives.

The keyboard and auto zoom and centering has a complete mind of its own. One second the keyboard is up, the next its gone. Clicking on certain boxes causes the window to auto zoom and center - just all bizarre behaviors and I cant figure out what triggers them. The gestures are unique to this app and don't really follow the norms of mobile interfaces in terms of scroll and zoom. I just want the screen to remain in the full view with the keyboard pinned, please just make this a checkbox option.

this app is terrible. every upgrade makes zero sense. the epic app no longer opens on this app. all other apps will open and work properly, but not the epic one...the main one I use. and when it does connect, it will only come up in landscape mode. I need it to be in portrait. this just started happening..I can't stress how horrible this app is update 8/25...still horrible. works part of the time but today it's back to not opening epic. they don't care

Please give us a way to disable the stupid keyboard bar and the Apple keyboard overlay when a Bluetooth (or wired) keyboard is in use. Also, please find a way to keep it from timing out ~30 seconds after switching focus away from the app. It’s a huge pain to re-enter password + 2FA creeds every time. It would also be awesome if Citrix could use the system-configured mouse tracking speed settings. Also, what’s up with the whole screen moving up an inch every time text is entered with a keyboard? The only way I know how to fix this is to CMD+Tab away and CMD+Tab back to the app. Using an Apple Magic Mouse feels great on an iPad Pro M1 12.9”, but it feels weird within Citrix. It’s hard to describe. Speaking of that, the natural scrolling setting needs to be read from iOS system settings. I had to toggle it off in iOS and again in Citrix to get it working the way I like it.

I’ve been using the combination of the Citrix Workspace app and its predecessor Citrix Receiver for almost 6 years now and both have been very useful in improving my efficiency during the day as a long distance commuter by allowing me to travel and use my iPad to quickly connect and work remotely on my work’s Citrix servers. Unfortunately, after I updated my iPad to iOS 13, I was no longer able to connect to my work as the iOS 13 update prevented the Workspace app from communicating with my secure browser. I wrote to the iOS Workspace app team and provided them with the technical information about what was preventing me from connecting, and they listened and released an update within a week that got me back connected to my work! Thanks for the great customer service and enabling me to work remotely again.

I used to love this App, however since the last few updates there is a bug/ problem with recognizing external screen resolutions properly leading to a highly skewed picture output on an external monitor when mirroring from an iPad. I‘m sharing this here as a part of my review as unfortunately Citrix makes it impossible for an end user to get help or raise a ticket for this App on their homepage and are always referring you to the IT support from your own company who is administering the system for you. Unfortunately they cannot help with a problem like this which seems to be a bug introduced with one of the latest updates (worked perfectly before). So please dear Citrix developer, if you read this give end users the opportunity to share feedback with you or report a problem and pleas fix this issue as otherwise this becomes very annoying to use. I will defiantly give you 5 stars for this App once the issue is fixed. Thank you.

I used to be able to use this app just fine on my iPad. Then out of nowhere, it just started acting up on me. I can’t use my magic keyboard unless the onscreen keyboard is toggled. You can imagine how annoying it is to try to work and navigate around your screen with a big digital keyboard in the way. Citrix Receiver is great and works admirably; however, there is one major thing that would make the application better. Not sure of the technical feasibility, though. Here is the issue. Working on enterprise apps from a touch-centric device is not easy. Scrolling in Word docs, pdfs, or other applications is a challenge. Moving and resizing windows is also difficult. Editing documents is generally smooth, but has its pain points, too. This may not be anything that Citrix can fix -- it may just be an artifact of navigating windows through a touch interface. Nevertheless, if there is some way to ease the burden of interfacing with a remote Windows machine, that would be a substantial and worthy improvement.

Using this App on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in Samsung Dex mode. The app is pretty decent. However, When I have the window fully maximized, I accidentally close the window all the time, as I always mix up the 'X' in the top right corner with an app within a Citrix Windows environment. There should be a way to minimize that top bar so people don't accidentally close Citrix all the time. And I mean ALL the time. I always have to re-log in, which is annoying.

Workspace continues to get better. My WebEx calls are good with voice and video. SLACK calls don't work so well anymore they just continue to ring and never connect even though myself or the other party has connected. However, most things work well and look forward to it continuing to get better. Note, I just downloaded the latest version and will update this should I have any issues.

UPDATE: Why can't the dropdown-arrow menu be smaller and moved around, like on the ipad and PC app? I raised this issue over a year ago and nothing has been done. I'm lowering one star. Often I have tabs open in web browser and the arrow icon, which you can't move, blocks the tab or other features, requiring me to get creative. This is all unnecessary. If the android app had the same functionality as other Citrix versions, problem would be solved. Get on it devs!

Editing documents is generally smooth, but has its pain points, too. This may not be anything that Citrix can fix -- it may just be an artifact of navigating windows through a touch interface. Nevertheless, if there is some way to ease the burden of interfacing with a remote Windows machine, that would be a substantial and worthy improvement.

Please give us a way to disable the stupid keyboard bar and the Apple keyboard overlay when a Bluetooth (or wired) keyboard is in use. Also, please find a way to keep it from timing out ~30 seconds after switching focus away from the app. It’s a huge pain to re-enter password + 2FA creeds every time. It would also be awesome if Citrix could use the system-configured mouse tracking speed settings. Also, what’s up with the whole screen moving up an inch every time text is entered with a keyboard? The only way I know how to fix this is to CMD+Tab away and CMD+Tab back to the app. Using an Apple Magic Mouse feels great on an iPad Pro M1 12.9”, but it feels weird within Citrix. It’s hard to describe. Speaking of that, the natural scrolling setting needs to be read from iOS system settings. I had to toggle it off in iOS and again in Citrix to get it working the way I like it.

UPDATE: Why can't the dropdown-arrow menu be smaller and moved around, like on the ipad and PC app? I raised this issue over a year ago and nothing has been done. I'm lowering one star. Often I have tabs open in web browser and the arrow icon, which you can't move, blocks the tab or other features, requiring me to get creative. This is all unnecessary. If the android app had the same functionality as other Citrix versions, problem would be solved. Get on it devs!

I used to be able to use this app just fine on my iPad. Then out of nowhere, it just started acting up on me. I can’t use my magic keyboard unless the onscreen keyboard is toggled. You can imagine how annoying it is to try to work and navigate around your screen with a big digital keyboard in the way. But what really drove this review was that, as of recent, it randomly logs me out multiple times throughout the day. When this happens, it won’t notify me, the only way I know is because the app will start glitching and won’t allow me to click or type anything at all. This obviously is extremely disruptive to my work since I have to log in again every time with a 2-step verification. But as of today, regardless if I’m logged in, the keyboard will not type at all. Keep in mind, my trackpad works just fine, but it doesn’t allow me to actually type. The pop up box for the word suggestions is picking up the letters I enter, but they are not displaying on the virtual desktop. You can see the type tool blinking as it usually does when you’re typing in a Word docs, for example, but no words actually populate. Each time I’ve reached out to Citrix, they tell me they can’t help.

I used to love this App, however since the last few updates there is a bug/ problem with recognizing external screen resolutions properly leading to a highly skewed picture output on an external monitor when mirroring from an iPad. I‘m sharing this here as a part of my review as unfortunately Citrix makes it impossible for an end user to get help or raise a ticket for this App on their homepage and are always referring you to the IT support from your own company who is administering the system for you. Unfortunately they cannot help with a problem like this which seems to be a bug introduced with one of the latest updates (worked perfectly before). So please dear Citrix developer, if you read this give end users the opportunity to share feedback with you or report a problem and pleas fix this issue as otherwise this becomes very annoying to use. I will defiantly give you 5 stars for this App once the issue is fixed. Thank you.

Aside from being my personal device, my phone also doubles as my work phone. It’s nice to know that if I needed to jump into work for a moment that I can log in and [kind of] get things done. My only complaint is that even with a large phone screen (iPhone 11 Pro Max), it can be cumbersome to navigate things. Not sure if this is a Citrix app issue or the software that allows me to use Citrix to log in remotely. That’s my only reason for a 4 star rating. While it’s nice to have the option to work whenever/wherever I need to, it sometimes takes pinpoint precision to properly “click” things like scroll bars and drop down menus. Again, not sure if this is the app’s issue, but other than that, great app.

new update is not too good because slider menu is making my work too hard it is taking time to click on it and also if once we click on back button it is taking me out from the main page of organisation hence we need to reopen it and this feature is wasting time too. kindly provide the old features which wath before this update

I’ve been using the combination of the Citrix Workspace app and its predecessor Citrix Receiver for almost 6 years now and both have been very useful in improving my efficiency during the day as a long distance commuter by allowing me to travel and use my iPad to quickly connect and work remotely on my work’s Citrix servers. Unfortunately, after I updated my iPad to iOS 13, I was no longer able to connect to my work as the iOS 13 update prevented the Workspace app from communicating with my secure browser. I wrote to the iOS Workspace app team and provided them with the technical information about what was preventing me from connecting, and they listened and released an update within a week that got me back connected to my work! Thanks for the great customer service and enabling me to work remotely again.

Generally good, however recent updates have not been good: The mouse function has some sort of acceleration now which makes it worse to use on a touch screen phone. This change needs to be reverted. Also please make the toolbar menu dropdown smaller like it used to be. It now takes up unnecessary space on the screen. Also I wish it would stop disconnecting every time I change app on my phone and then return to Citrix. Otherwise it's a good app.

This is good but can you PLEASE change the top tool bar functionality so that it disconnects the sesstion NOT log out the machine, in line with the desktop app?? The number of times i've logged out my machine (with no way of cancelling) while using this instead of just disconnecting is very frustrating. We don't need a log off button in the tool bar, we need a disconnect button, in line with the desktop app.

Generally works great. Used on S9/S10e/Note20 with Samsung Dex i don't need a laptop/pc anymore. It can disrupt internet acces for other apps running at the same time: Video conferencing gets disrupted when accessing larger files in the virtual desktop. Strange because the file access is on the remote server, not on the phone. Hope this will be fixed soon. Would be great to be able to work in the virtual desktop while video conferencing, sharing the screen without loosing connection.

The biggest downfall of your service is that your desktop client, unlike other remote access softwares, does not allow for keyboard shortcuts to be forwarded to the remote computer. It's very annoying to not be able to alt-tab while working on a remote desktop. Fix this and you are more than deserving of five stars. Your mobile app is better than your desktop client for this reason, although some gestures are a little verbose. Edit: You can actually fix this by changing a registry key...

I'm using the app since more than a year, many changes made but I think it should be made more user friendly so that people may use this app without any problem as far as my concern I could not use it appropriately for both reading as well as writing of emails I think this difficulty may because of its compatibility issue with mobile phone. One more thing I say that many times it gets hanged while entering the password for login. I think it needs some changes.

Works surprisingly well, but two complaints: -There isn't a button in the toolbar to just disconnect (or it's not obvious, hitting back seems to be the correct way), the button that seems to do that will sign me out before disconnecting, which is not wanted. -There should be an option to enable cursor by default (not obvious if this is an option already), since the tap click isn't great when accessing a VM on a phone.

Citrix Receiver is great and works admirably; however, there is one major thing that would make the application better. Not sure of the technical feasibility, though. Here is the issue. Working on enterprise apps from a touch-centric device is not easy. Scrolling in Word docs, pdfs, or other applications is a challenge. Moving and resizing windows is also difficult. Editing documents is generally smooth, but has its pain points, too. This may not be anything that Citrix can fix -- it may just be an artifact of navigating windows through a touch interface. Nevertheless, if there is some way to ease the burden of interfacing with a remote Windows machine, that would be a substantial and worthy improvement.

Workspace continues to get better. My WebEx calls are good with voice and video. SLACK calls don't work so well anymore they just continue to ring and never connect even though myself or the other party has connected. However, most things work well and look forward to it continuing to get better. Note, I just downloaded the latest version and will update this should I have any issues.

Only 1 major issue here in this app which in android smartphone which is very annoying . If by mistake I have clicked on back button, it takes me out and when I try to go inside my virtual desktop, it takes me back to login screen. There should be a confirmation message when I accidentally click on back button that whether I really want to exit or not.

installed app is a ghost. I have a Samsung Galaxy s23 and citrix does not show up in installed apps in personal or work profile. found again in Play store. re-enabled and updated. launched app and used it, but when I went to add to homescreen, it is nowhere to be found. Android 15, One UI 7.0, Security patch July 1, 2025.

Using this App on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in Samsung Dex mode. The app is pretty decent. However, When I have the window fully maximized, I accidentally close the window all the time, as I always mix up the 'X' in the top right corner with an app within a Citrix Windows environment. There should be a way to minimize that top bar so people don't accidentally close Citrix all the time. And I mean ALL the time. I always have to re-log in, which is annoying.

Very poor experience. Every time trying to install Citrix Workspace to be able to enter into Connect Care or other EMR, it remains unclear if Citrix Receiver is needed or not. Downloading the latest Citrix Workspace does not seem to be enough. This issue keeps reoccuring... IT techs assume everyone is IT expert. No, the users can be just lay people in terms of IT, or have some knowledge, but not everyone has to be expert in IT to be able to use an app, or whatever needed for their work.

I'm not able to use my keyboard to reply to emails. Sometimes it takes me 5 tries to get logged in bc it says error. All kinds of bugs. Very annoying. Basically the only thing I can do is check my work schedule and read messages,but not respond. I don't like the app at all and wish they'd fix it. I've complained about these same issues before and gotten nowhere.

The keyboard and auto zoom and centering has a complete mind of its own. One second the keyboard is up, the next its gone. Clicking on certain boxes causes the window to auto zoom and center - just all bizarre behaviors and I cant figure out what triggers them. The gestures are unique to this app and don't really follow the norms of mobile interfaces in terms of scroll and zoom. I just want the screen to remain in the full view with the keyboard pinned, please just make this a checkbox option.

Consider this as negative star not even one . When using 9 out of 10 times it doesn't gives error code instead of connecting to the account. Also when typing can't type special characters , have to struggle with options in extended keyboard. Simply a waste of time and energy leading to frusttration .

Utterly Buggy app. It was still getting the job done amidst multiple issues. However it has become extremely annoying after a recent update post which It does not run properly in the background with an error message depicting "App not unavailable" the moment it is minimised or switched to a different app. Release notes mentions as Bug fixes or should it be as Introducing New Bugs. How does an update reach consumers without proper testing something which gets me perplexed.

This is one of the worst app of modern time. The citrix ecosystem is still in 1999. They made basic features like typing and scrolling a cumbersome task. Support team takes ages to answer the calls. I don't know why corporates are still using this app . Frequent crashes, inexplicable software issues and random shut downs and the list goes on and on. Not even one thing that I can appreciate about this app. I urge all to please avoid it at all cost. Not worth it!

Worst app ever. I installed this app to access the mail & I had the worst experience. It takes quite an effort even to move the cursor successfully to the desired mail or content. Also, in order to write a mail, this app provides a virtual keyboard (which is the only option since phone keyboard doesn't work here) which disappears everytime you need to correct your content. Further, one needs to have a lot of patience in order to select the virtual keyboard from the drop down in the first place.

Citrix as a solution hasn't improved a bit in years. And this app, as soon as you minimize/switch the window, the connection fails. You lock the screen for a moment, the connection fails. Citrix has poor connection resilience in general. Mouse pointer is offset to the right. Keyboard is erratic. This app has survived probably because there are no alternatives.

this app is terrible. every upgrade makes zero sense. the epic app no longer opens on this app. all other apps will open and work properly, but not the epic one...the main one I use. and when it does connect, it will only come up in landscape mode. I need it to be in portrait. this just started happening..I can't stress how horrible this app is update 8/25...still horrible. works part of the time but today it's back to not opening epic. they don't care

It can take an inordinate amount of troubleshooting and luck to get it to connect and actually run programs, yet when it finally opens it is very difficult to get it to respond to commands on anything other than a desktop computer. Something that should take two seconds or less, such as selecting an option on the screen, can easily take 5 minutes or more. It is an excellent idea in theory, but very time consuming and overly demanding in its specifications for use in practice.

This app no longer works for me. I'm not really sure what happened but the problem started after my computer died and restarted and I think the app must have updated with the reboot. Ever since I have not been able to get into my company's apps to do any documentation at home, which is incredibly inconvenient and has been a big headache. I talked to several different people in tech support at work and after troubleshooting they all said it must be an issue with the citrix app. Please fix!!

Worst app ever. I installed this app to access the mail & I had the worst experience. It takes quite an effort even to move the cursor successfully to the desired mail or content. Also, in order to write a mail, this app provides a virtual keyboard (which is the only option since phone keyboard doesn't work here) which disappears everytime you need to correct your content. Further, one needs to have a lot of patience in order to select the virtual keyboard from the drop down in the first place.

I'm not able to use my keyboard to reply to emails. Sometimes it takes me 5 tries to get logged in bc it says error. All kinds of bugs. Very annoying. Basically the only thing I can do is check my work schedule and read messages,but not respond. I don't like the app at all and wish they'd fix it. I've complained about these same issues before and gotten nowhere.

Works surprisingly well, but two complaints: -There isn't a button in the toolbar to just disconnect (or it's not obvious, hitting back seems to be the correct way), the button that seems to do that will sign me out before disconnecting, which is not wanted. -There should be an option to enable cursor by default (not obvious if this is an option already), since the tap click isn't great when accessing a VM on a phone.

Citrix as a solution hasn't improved a bit in years. And this app, as soon as you minimize/switch the window, the connection fails. You lock the screen for a moment, the connection fails. Citrix has poor connection resilience in general. Mouse pointer is offset to the right. Keyboard is erratic. This app has survived probably because there are no alternatives.

The keyboard and auto zoom and centering has a complete mind of its own. One second the keyboard is up, the next its gone. Clicking on certain boxes causes the window to auto zoom and center - just all bizarre behaviors and I cant figure out what triggers them. The gestures are unique to this app and don't really follow the norms of mobile interfaces in terms of scroll and zoom. I just want the screen to remain in the full view with the keyboard pinned, please just make this a checkbox option.

this app is terrible. every upgrade makes zero sense. the epic app no longer opens on this app. all other apps will open and work properly, but not the epic one...the main one I use. and when it does connect, it will only come up in landscape mode. I need it to be in portrait. this just started happening..I can't stress how horrible this app is update 8/25...still horrible. works part of the time but today it's back to not opening epic. they don't care

Please give us a way to disable the stupid keyboard bar and the Apple keyboard overlay when a Bluetooth (or wired) keyboard is in use. Also, please find a way to keep it from timing out ~30 seconds after switching focus away from the app. It’s a huge pain to re-enter password + 2FA creeds every time. It would also be awesome if Citrix could use the system-configured mouse tracking speed settings. Also, what’s up with the whole screen moving up an inch every time text is entered with a keyboard? The only way I know how to fix this is to CMD+Tab away and CMD+Tab back to the app. Using an Apple Magic Mouse feels great on an iPad Pro M1 12.9”, but it feels weird within Citrix. It’s hard to describe. Speaking of that, the natural scrolling setting needs to be read from iOS system settings. I had to toggle it off in iOS and again in Citrix to get it working the way I like it.

I’ve been using the combination of the Citrix Workspace app and its predecessor Citrix Receiver for almost 6 years now and both have been very useful in improving my efficiency during the day as a long distance commuter by allowing me to travel and use my iPad to quickly connect and work remotely on my work’s Citrix servers. Unfortunately, after I updated my iPad to iOS 13, I was no longer able to connect to my work as the iOS 13 update prevented the Workspace app from communicating with my secure browser. I wrote to the iOS Workspace app team and provided them with the technical information about what was preventing me from connecting, and they listened and released an update within a week that got me back connected to my work! Thanks for the great customer service and enabling me to work remotely again.

I used to love this App, however since the last few updates there is a bug/ problem with recognizing external screen resolutions properly leading to a highly skewed picture output on an external monitor when mirroring from an iPad. I‘m sharing this here as a part of my review as unfortunately Citrix makes it impossible for an end user to get help or raise a ticket for this App on their homepage and are always referring you to the IT support from your own company who is administering the system for you. Unfortunately they cannot help with a problem like this which seems to be a bug introduced with one of the latest updates (worked perfectly before). So please dear Citrix developer, if you read this give end users the opportunity to share feedback with you or report a problem and pleas fix this issue as otherwise this becomes very annoying to use. I will defiantly give you 5 stars for this App once the issue is fixed. Thank you.

I used to be able to use this app just fine on my iPad. Then out of nowhere, it just started acting up on me. I can’t use my magic keyboard unless the onscreen keyboard is toggled. You can imagine how annoying it is to try to work and navigate around your screen with a big digital keyboard in the way. But what really drove this review was that, as of recent, it randomly logs me out multiple times throughout the day. When this happens, it won’t notify me, the only way I know is because the app will start glitching and won’t allow me to click or type anything at all. This obviously is extremely disruptive to my work since I have to log in again every time with a 2-step verification. But as of today, regardless if I’m logged in, the keyboard will not type at all. Keep in mind, my trackpad works just fine, but it doesn’t allow me to actually type. The pop up box for the word suggestions is picking up the letters I enter, but they are not displaying on the virtual desktop. You can see the type tool blinking as it usually does when you’re typing in a Word docs, for example, but no words actually populate. Each time I’ve reached out to Citrix, they tell me they can’t help.

Citrix Receiver is great and works admirably; however, there is one major thing that would make the application better. Not sure of the technical feasibility, though. Here is the issue. Working on enterprise apps from a touch-centric device is not easy. Scrolling in Word docs, pdfs, or other applications is a challenge. Moving and resizing windows is also difficult. Editing documents is generally smooth, but has its pain points, too. This may not be anything that Citrix can fix -- it may just be an artifact of navigating windows through a touch interface. Nevertheless, if there is some way to ease the burden of interfacing with a remote Windows machine, that would be a substantial and worthy improvement.

Using this App on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra in Samsung Dex mode. The app is pretty decent. However, When I have the window fully maximized, I accidentally close the window all the time, as I always mix up the 'X' in the top right corner with an app within a Citrix Windows environment. There should be a way to minimize that top bar so people don't accidentally close Citrix all the time. And I mean ALL the time. I always have to re-log in, which is annoying.

It can take an inordinate amount of troubleshooting and luck to get it to connect and actually run programs, yet when it finally opens it is very difficult to get it to respond to commands on anything other than a desktop computer. Something that should take two seconds or less, such as selecting an option on the screen, can easily take 5 minutes or more. It is an excellent idea in theory, but very time consuming and overly demanding in its specifications for use in practice.

Workspace continues to get better. My WebEx calls are good with voice and video. SLACK calls don't work so well anymore they just continue to ring and never connect even though myself or the other party has connected. However, most things work well and look forward to it continuing to get better. Note, I just downloaded the latest version and will update this should I have any issues.

UPDATE: Why can't the dropdown-arrow menu be smaller and moved around, like on the ipad and PC app? I raised this issue over a year ago and nothing has been done. I'm lowering one star. Often I have tabs open in web browser and the arrow icon, which you can't move, blocks the tab or other features, requiring me to get creative. This is all unnecessary. If the android app had the same functionality as other Citrix versions, problem would be solved. Get on it devs!

This app no longer works for me. I'm not really sure what happened but the problem started after my computer died and restarted and I think the app must have updated with the reboot. Ever since I have not been able to get into my company's apps to do any documentation at home, which is incredibly inconvenient and has been a big headache. I talked to several different people in tech support at work and after troubleshooting they all said it must be an issue with the citrix app. Please fix!!
