Using the Takealot app has been convenient for me and I love that before ordering you get to see the reviews from other people who have bought the same product. the delivery service is also effective and efficient although they make mistakes sometimes they will always fix it.

Fast shopping experience, from anywhere I travel. Customer friendly, with swift buyer-seller decisions. As a busy professional and senior academic, I hardly get time to queue in shops. And even worse to return goods I am not satisfied with or no longer need.

This app is about resellers, and the price is extremely high on products. Also, the creators of this app will not provide a proper video course on how to become a reseller, and you will lose money if you don't know how to skip Un nessasary payments to the creators. I haven't seen any useful details on reselling from the creators

Customer service is non-existent. Logged a return for a faulty exercise machine twice, only for Takealot staff to stop communicating with me. The second return was apparently concluded 2 days ago, and Takealot have not stated whether they're even returning the machine they were supposed to inspect or not. Their records show that they spent a total of 12 minutes inspecting the machine before declining, yet I can not use the machine without loud squeaks. Think twice before buying anything.

I have frequently encountered issues with receiving products that are defective, and the shipping process has been notably slow. Despite the products being listed as available, they often become unavailable upon ordering, resulting in a two-week delay before a item is received.

Relatively easy to search for things, a wide range of categories to choose from, not all of it is bad quality items from China, they actually have some high quality local sellers on there as well. Many options for delivery, great feedback with deliveries, and a good returns policy.

This app is nice and your shop is awesome. But the pop-up ads are extremely annoying. They have been removed for a while now. But they are back. You make money selling products now you want to make money selling ad space on the app. At least Amazon is here now and doesn't have pop-up Ads.

why do I have to login every time I open the app? This is such a silly feature you guys added and I have been using Takelot to shop since 2015! I've raised the issue with support many many times but again nothing has been done. no seriously, who wants to remember passwords!

No space for delivery instructions, pay for the subscription, and they didn't deliver half of my order, when using the help function. There's only a chatbot for "chat to us" One delivery also arrives in pieces so you need to be available to collect 3 different times.

I've never had any issues with deliveries or products that I've ordered. I also love the Cash on Delivery option. Takealot is very convenient and user friendly for me, I've purchased items from CELL phones to kitchen mats and had no issues at all.

Takealot messed up my order and won't fix it. I placed an order to have delivered to my fiance. They sent the wrong items, and upon returning the incorrect items, instead of shipping the correct items as they promised, they credited my account for only 1 of the 3 items. 3 weeks later and multiple attempts to contact them and they are ignoring my emails and keeping my money. Takealot will steal your money and give you nothing in return. If they fix this I will edit my review.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Takealot. I purchased a gift for someone, only to find that the product did not work at all. Now, instead of resolving the issue quickly, I have to wait almost 2 weeks for a replacement. This delay completely defeats the purpose of buying it as a gift, and it’s unacceptable for such a large company to handle faulty products so slowly.

Ive done 2x orders this month and have no complaints. The deliveries was done even before the noted time on the app and the goods exactly as ordered. Im very happy with their service, friendly and prompt. Also after a couple of orderes their products is as described. no issues so far and those I had quikly resolved. Congrats takealot you stay nr one. Way better than these chinese qpps with their fake marketing.

Takealot advertised dewaldt product for sale due to something having expired at "Builders" I then paid for mine and some gaming site kept on coming up on screen and taking said payment. No matter where you looked, there was nowhere to contact takealot. I then subsequently lost my purchase thanks to their lack of providing at least somewhere to make queries. Thanks takealot!

My husband and I love Takealot... your order is always delivered on time. The Takealot APP is extremely user friendly. Must be well maintained as I don't think I have ever had a single problem with lagging, always a smooth scrolling shopping experience. I have never had a single problem with the APP or Takealot, just a complete all round great user experience, and I have been buying from Takealot for just over 7 years now. Well done Takealot team

update frustration! after doing the recent update 05/08/2025 (a few days ago) I'm often finding that the app suddenly freezes or shuts down. when I the close/reopen the app all items in my cart are simply not there. even the recently viewed item list doesn't display all the most recent viewed, often showing some items, and others not.

Parcels does not arrive on time, mostly days late , and tracking it is very difficult. the tracker does not update and you need to registar to even try to get help. They reschedule without letting me know and even that date went by without delivery. First parcel was 9days late en the second one were rescheduled from Teusday delivery to Friday before 5 and now its Saturday with no parcel and no update whatsoever! Easy to shop and pay , not so easy to get stuff on time. its a NO from me. ♡

So far I've never had a bad experience with my ordered deliveries, everything has been exceptionally great product is exactly as advertised and works wonders. Appreciate the free delivery but hate the long wait for it to arrive, wish I had more information when when the free delivery applies or does not apply. But overall I'm a happy customer and will continue using the app as it's convenient for me and apply for the monthly delivery subscription.

The app is fine, but since December 2024 with all my orders there is atleast one product that they send the wrong one or it is broken/incomplete. Usually the products are ordered for a spesific reason and there is no time to struggle with sending it back. I end up with cheaper products and sometimes I order two of the same product and I get two different things.

Im very happy with their service, friendly and prompt. Also after a couple of orderes their products is as described. no issues so far and those I had quikly resolved. Congrats takealot you stay nr one. Way better than these chinese qpps with their fake marketing.

Parcels does not arrive on time, mostly days late , and tracking it is very difficult. the tracker does not update and you need to registar to even try to get help. They reschedule without letting me know and even that date went by without delivery. First parcel was 9days late en the second one were rescheduled from Teusday delivery to Friday before 5 and now its Saturday with no parcel and no update whatsoever! Easy to shop and pay , not so easy to get stuff on time. its a NO from me. ♡

My husband and I love Takealot... your order is always delivered on time. The Takealot APP is extremely user friendly. Must be well maintained as I don't think I have ever had a single problem with lagging, always a smooth scrolling shopping experience. I have never had a single problem with the APP or Takealot, just a complete all round great user experience, and I have been buying from Takealot for just over 7 years now. Well done Takealot team

So far I've never had a bad experience with my ordered deliveries, everything has been exceptionally great product is exactly as advertised and works wonders. Appreciate the free delivery but hate the long wait for it to arrive, wish I had more information when when the free delivery applies or does not apply. But overall I'm a happy customer and will continue using the app as it's convenient for me and apply for the monthly delivery subscription.

I have frequently encountered issues with receiving products that are defective, and the shipping process has been notably slow. Despite the products being listed as available, they often become unavailable upon ordering, resulting in a two-week delay before a item is received.

why do I have to login every time I open the app? This is such a silly feature you guys added and I have been using Takelot to shop since 2015! I've raised the issue with support many many times but again nothing has been done. no seriously, who wants to remember passwords!

update frustration! after doing the recent update 05/08/2025 (a few days ago) I'm often finding that the app suddenly freezes or shuts down. when I the close/reopen the app all items in my cart are simply not there. even the recently viewed item list doesn't display all the most recent viewed, often showing some items, and others not.

"Hey, I’m kinda frustrated with Takealot’s delivery. It’s looking like two weeks to get my stuff, but if I bought the items separately , I could probably have them in 5 - 7 days. Now I have a notification about another 4-day delay. Honestly, I’m thinking about shopping somewhere else with quicker service.

This app is about resellers, and the price is extremely high on products. Also, the creators of this app will not provide a proper video course on how to become a reseller, and you will lose money if you don't know how to skip Un nessasary payments to the creators. I haven't seen any useful details on reselling from the creators

Customer service is non-existent. Logged a return for a faulty exercise machine twice, only for Takealot staff to stop communicating with me. The second return was apparently concluded 2 days ago, and Takealot have not stated whether they're even returning the machine they were supposed to inspect or not. Their records show that they spent a total of 12 minutes inspecting the machine before declining, yet I can not use the machine without loud squeaks. Think twice before buying anything.

This app is nice and your shop is awesome. But the pop-up ads are extremely annoying. They have been removed for a while now. But they are back. You make money selling products now you want to make money selling ad space on the app. At least Amazon is here now and doesn't have pop-up Ads.

No space for delivery instructions, pay for the subscription, and they didn't deliver half of my order, when using the help function. There's only a chatbot for "chat to us" One delivery also arrives in pieces so you need to be available to collect 3 different times.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Takealot. I purchased a gift for someone, only to find that the product did not work at all. Now, instead of resolving the issue quickly, I have to wait almost 2 weeks for a replacement. This delay completely defeats the purpose of buying it as a gift, and it’s unacceptable for such a large company to handle faulty products so slowly.

Takealot advertised dewaldt product for sale due to something having expired at "Builders" I then paid for mine and some gaming site kept on coming up on screen and taking said payment. No matter where you looked, there was nowhere to contact takealot. I then subsequently lost my purchase thanks to their lack of providing at least somewhere to make queries. Thanks takealot!

Parcels does not arrive on time, mostly days late , and tracking it is very difficult. the tracker does not update and you need to registar to even try to get help. They reschedule without letting me know and even that date went by without delivery. First parcel was 9days late en the second one were rescheduled from Teusday delivery to Friday before 5 and now its Saturday with no parcel and no update whatsoever! Easy to shop and pay , not so easy to get stuff on time. its a NO from me. ♡

The app is fine, but since December 2024 with all my orders there is atleast one product that they send the wrong one or it is broken/incomplete. Usually the products are ordered for a spesific reason and there is no time to struggle with sending it back. I end up with cheaper products and sometimes I order two of the same product and I get two different things.

Takealot messed up my order and won't fix it. I placed an order to have delivered to my fiance. They sent the wrong items, and upon returning the incorrect items, instead of shipping the correct items as they promised, they credited my account for only 1 of the 3 items. 3 weeks later and multiple attempts to contact them and they are ignoring my emails and keeping my money. Takealot will steal your money and give you nothing in return. If they fix this I will edit my review.

Fast shopping experience, from anywhere I travel. Customer friendly, with swift buyer-seller decisions. As a busy professional and senior academic, I hardly get time to queue in shops. And even worse to return goods I am not satisfied with or no longer need.

Relatively easy to search for things, a wide range of categories to choose from, not all of it is bad quality items from China, they actually have some high quality local sellers on there as well. Many options for delivery, great feedback with deliveries, and a good returns policy.

I've never had any issues with deliveries or products that I've ordered. I also love the Cash on Delivery option. Takealot is very convenient and user friendly for me, I've purchased items from CELL phones to kitchen mats and had no issues at all.

Using the Takealot app has been convenient for me and I love that before ordering you get to see the reviews from other people who have bought the same product. the delivery service is also effective and efficient although they make mistakes sometimes they will always fix it.

Ive done 2x orders this month and have no complaints. The deliveries was done even before the noted time on the app and the goods exactly as ordered. Im very happy with their service, friendly and prompt. Also after a couple of orderes their products is as described. no issues so far and those I had quikly resolved.
