Can't get app to open. Have tried unintalling and reinstalling several times in the past few days and that hasn't worked. Kept telling me I was a robot after several puzzle "tests." Currently app is uninstalled. Please fix. I rely on Stop and Shop Peadpod delivery due to my illness. Got app to work ok again but after recent update in March 2025, I now can't get into items saved in my "shopping list." It's frustrating because it always seems like there's something in the app not working.

Really disappointed in the changes to the app. I guess it's great if you shop online; I do not. You can no longer add the sale items directly to the shopping list. I'm back to scribbling my shopping on scrap paper. I can still access my card and clip coupons. But I'm going to miss having everything in one place, and not forgetting my shopping list at the house.

Just kept saying sign back in your session has expired. I couldn't click anything without that showing up. I couldn't click coupons, rewards, nothing. Just at the top kept saying click here to sign back in your session has been expired. No way it could be expired within seconds of me trying to click anything in the app. I deleted the app and re downloaded did not make a difference. I'd love to see coupons and my rewards but I can't get past the sign back in. Frustrating

I just uninstalled it. I've had issues with some other supermarket apps, like ShopRite for example, but I was able to make adjustments and now it works fine, not this app. Most of the time it doesn't even work. And here's a fact for you, out of the 89 total apps on my phone, Stop & Shop is the ONLY APP THAT WILL NOT UPDATE!!! For months, will not update, only app. Useless. I avoid the store now as well.

Horrible update! Log in info was scrapped. When I tried to log in again, couldn't on the app. Allowed me to log in when I reset my password but there's no "remember this user" function. Once on, trying to scroll through the coupons and get sent to the BOTTOM of the next page when I tap "See More". Used to be user friendly. Now just a mess and very glitchy. I uninstalled the app.

Horrible! The previous app I had no problem crating a shopping list. I would click on the flyer and it would gret transferred to my shopping list. Now it goes to a cart for purchasing. Now I have to search all isless to create a shopping list. The app emphasizes pick up or delivery service but does very little to assist to shop within the store. The company just messed with a good app! I WOULD HAVEN GIVEN THE APP NO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION! Still can't place sale items into shopping list.

Horrible!!! If I could give less than a 1 star rating, I surely would. This app is unreliable. It provides info that not only is incorrect but that was never entered to begin with...???? I spent a lot of time selecting items that were advertised at one price, yet checked out at a different price altogether (of course, consistently, the checkout price was higher!). This REALLY makes me long for the old Pea Pod app

Whenever I use the app it gets glitchy and freezes. I have to close the app and retry. This time, I never received a confirmation email from my order, nor a notification it was ready, nor a final receipt. In the app when I clicked on order details it only showed half the items I ordered. I had to call to confirm the other items were shown on their end, which they were.

I deleted the app, downloaded again, everything was fine...until I logged in. This has been going on for a month and have been missing out on digital coupons and weekly bonus point opportunities. Judging by the lack of replies here they either aren't aware of the problem, or simply don't care. Must be the latter. A full week has gone by and not one reply from stop and shop!

The app is very user friendly but I had to uninstall it because my phone got burning hot every time I opened it. No other app does that to my phone and it scared me. Plus, it ate up my battery like crazy. In addition, I had issues with the store knowing I was there to pick-up my order and it constantly froze on a pop-up asking if I wanted to turn notifications on. It definitely needs fixing. I'll stick to using the website to do my orders/pickups and call the store when I arrive.

As much as I love the service, I hate the app. It's so slow and it makes it harder sometimes to put an order together then it is to go to the store. Many times my cart would get the items deleted and I'd have to start over again. Very frustrating for a busy person who's trying to get groceries delivered and then have to deal with the worst app.

Works just fine. Better than Peapod in that it doesn't close when you hit "return" button. In all other ways looks just like Peapod which is fine with me. Update January 2021: the app used to have custom shopping lists, I created 5 lists for different groups of products. Haven't used the app for a while, and now I see that there is only one list, all my products are combined into one list which is not convenient. Why this good tool was removed. I am very unhappy and don't want to use it anymore.

This app is required to apply coupons and reward dollars. It hasn't functioned correctly in years. I'm sure the $$$ they've conned me out of is well worth the trouble for them! I love buying things I think are on sale only to find out I was charged full price! I didn't have any use for any of the reward money that seemingly disappears randomly, anyway! I love getting ripped off!!

The app no longer gives me the delivery option. I called and they "fixed" it, but it's broken again. I agree with the other comments on sponsored products and having to click more/resetting every time. I have been using this a long, long time but can't see the value if it doesn't work and it's delivered by Instacart (which I already pay for). Thinking of cancelling.

I consistently have such a hard time working with the app. It's always so slow, last big thing was my account got hacked and was fraudulently using my card to buy stuff. Now its glitches by erasing my entire order while im in the cart. im at the point that I might just shop around for another grocery store as its not convenient for my pick up needs

* Updated below App crashes and freezes every 15 minutes. Have to close and reopen repeatedly while trying to order. The most annoying app ever. 3/3/25. This app has been updated numerous times and every update is worse than the the previous. It is HORRIBLE! It is a cluttered mess and impossible to navigate. Disgusted! Do not download unless you need it for pickup I keep downloading it for pick up myself, but trying to use it for shopping is impossible

I had really liked this app at first but now it glitches so bad sometimes its useless!! How long does it take to verify the device im on??? Absolutely USELESS especially when I'm trying to check prices or sales while I'm in the store shopping and all it does is says verifying device! I've tried logging out waiting few minutes and log back in and still the same thing! FRUSTRATING is putting it mildly!!!

App has so many issues with the shopping list. Can't add notes to items. Can't specify item quantity, so "Must Buy 2" items don't show the sale price, only the price for 1, even though the website DOES. Add-in items can't have any punctuation. App STILL doesn't have link to shopping list in bottom toolbar to quickly access it from any page. I honestly don't believe anyone at S&S reads the comments, because they rarely fix anything. Very frustrating.

4-18-25 once again it's always something! It is always something with this app. Come Friday morning the sales prices are not even posted until after 8:00 or 9:00 a.m., which makes absolutely no sense because this store is only on the East Coast. Please correct me if I'm wrong. And once it does update the sales prices you have to uninstall and reinstall the app for the items you have in your bag to show the price that they are advertising in the weekly ad. I don't shop here as often anymore...

This app worked great until the last update. I see my regular homepage and I see items that I've ordered in the past. Now I can't get anything into my cart. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. That worked in the past, but not now. I am having the same problem with ordering from the main page. I've even given the app more permissions than I'd like and it still doesn't work. I rely on delivery and it's been great up until the last month or so. PLEASE FIX!!!

You know how when you purchase several items online and they charge you? And then one of the items they send is the wrong item, or it arrives damaged, or it ends up being out of stock so they issue you a refund in the amount of that one item? Reasonable right? Yeah that’s not how Peapod works. So my guy was sick, and he usually takes me grocery shopping, so I decided to do peapod so we could stay home and he could rest. I made my selections, got a delivery time, and paid. Total charge $115 and change. Cool, cool, cool. Well a few items were out of stock and one arrived damaged so I reach out about a refund and check on my final bill, $77 even. Cool, cool, cool. Then I want to make a purchase, but it’s a significant amount and I think, we’ll after bills this week I have a little over $200 left, so this should be fine but let’s check in on the account to be sure. Ummmmm that doesn’t seem right, I barely have $100 in my account. I start looking at charges. Instead of keeping the original $115 and change, and issuing me a refund for $39 and change, Peapod kept the original charge and then charged me again for the new lower actual cost of my groceries. So now they have $193 and change of my money, and I have $77 worth of groceries. So I call, oh no worries the first charge will be refunded in 3-5 business days. Excuse me?!?! You just stole $115+ from me but it’s okay because I’ll get it back in 3-5 business days?!? How is that logical or legal!?!?!?

This app is tremendously more useful than before. It reminds me of the Wegmans app before Wegmans ruined the app in every conceivable way. The new Stop&Shop app may actually turn us back into Stop&Shop shoppers (bye bye Wegmans and your stupid app). A few suggestions for Stop&Shop on their new app: (1) it would be very helpful to be able to pinch and enlarge the pictures, (2) please add a button on the home page to bring up a default shopping list with a single top - just like there is for the cart, (3) please save last-used sorting order for shopping list, (4) fix glitch in shopping list that requires reversion to sort by description to actually show items on list if the app is closed with the shopping list in any other sort order, (5) please add swipe to delete items from shopping list, (6) please enable more than one device to be signed in to the app - so that, for example, I can add more items to the list when my husband is also signed in on his device. I used to be able to scan the barcode of a product and the result would reflect all offers attached to the product. Now when I scan a product, it does not show any attached offers. If an item has more than one offer and I click view all item offers, your app just displays the item information, instead of all the offers attached to the item. For example, Dannon Oikos yogurt has a $.65 digital coupon and an instant savings of five dollars off when you spend $15. When I click view all items offer for the Dannon Oikos, it doesn’t show any offers; it just shows details about the product. Your app used to display all offers attached to an item when scanning the barcode or clicking view all item offers. You should reinstate that feature, instead your app developers removed it and the feature is not working properly. That is a downgrade, not an upgrade. Also, your past few maintenances have emptied my online cart and cannot be restored. I logged out of the app when it was glitchy and my entire online cart was emptied. I called Stop and Shop’s customer service number and was informed I had to choose Store pick up or delivery in order to have the items in my online shopping cart saved. How asinine is that? Why do I have to change my shopping from in-store to pick up or delivery in order to save the online cart? You should really address all these aforementioned issues. I use the app for savings - coupons, points rewards etc. But I have 2 complaints. First - there should be a better way to get to the digital coupons. Only some come up at the beginning of the coupon listing. Maybe have a separate section for the weekly digital coupon specials. Very annoying to be in the store and see a digital coupon special and have to pull out my phone and find it to load it to get the savings. Second - I have always had a glitch when going through the coupons. App will just shut off and boot me out. Then I have to start scrolling all over again. I thought maybe it was just my phone, but it’s happened even with my new phone. (and yes - I do update the app on a regular basis) Between the hidden digital coupons, and glitch that shuts down the app on my phone it’s almost like they’re trying to discourage you from searching for savings. Nobody has time these days to spend an hour scrolling through coupons and weekly ads trying to make sure you’re able to take advantage of special offers. Grocery shopping isn’t that exciting that I want to be glued to this app for an hour.

Every time I open the app a pop up appears asking if I want push notifications. This is annoying for two reasons 1. I am vision impaired and all my settings are for large text, when this notification request appears, I can’t decline it as the text is so big I can’t access or scroll down to the no thanks section of the request. It’s also annoying because if I want notifications, I know how to get them you don’t have to ask me every time. I am requesting a reasonable accommodation under the Americans With Disabilities Act that you simply remove that pop up about push notifications or make your app more usable to the low vision community. I’m sure The Carroll Center for The Blind Technology department can help you figure out how to do that if you don’t already know. Thanks. As much as I love the service, I hate the app. It's so slow and it makes it harder sometimes to put an order together then it is to go to the store. Horrible update! Log in info was scrapped. When I tried to log in again, couldn't on the app. Allowed me to log in when I reset my password but there's no "remember this user" function. Once on, trying to scroll through the coupons and get sent to the BOTTOM of the next page when I tap "See More". Used to be user friendly. Now just a mess and very glitchy. I uninstalled the app.

Horrible! The previous app I had no problem crating a shopping list. I would click on the flyer and it would gret transferred to my shopping list. Now it goes to a cart for purchasing. Now I have to search all isless to create a shopping list. The app emphasizes pick up or delivery service but does very little to assist to shop within the store. The company just messed with a good app! I WOULD HAVEN GIVEN THE APP NO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION! Still can't place sale items into shopping list.

Horrible!!! If I could give less than a 1 star rating, I surely would. This app is unreliable. It provides info that not only is incorrect but that was never entered to begin with...???? I spent a lot of time selecting items that were advertised at one price, yet checked out at a different price altogether (of course, consistently, the checkout price was higher!). This REALLY makes me long for the old Pea Pod app

Whenever I use the app it gets glitchy and freezes. I have to close the app and retry. This time, I never received a confirmation email from my order, nor a notification it was ready, nor a final receipt. In the app when I clicked on order details it only showed half the items I ordered. I had to call to confirm the other items were shown on their end, which they were.

I deleted the app, downloaded again, everything was fine...until I logged in. This has been going on for a month and have been missing out on digital coupons and weekly bonus point opportunities. Judging by the lack of replies here they either aren't aware of the problem, or simply don't care. Must be the latter. A full week has gone by and not one reply from stop and shop!

The app is very user friendly but I had to uninstall it because my phone got burning hot every time I opened it. No other app does that to my phone and it scared me. Plus, it ate up my battery like crazy. In addition, I had issues with the store knowing I was there to pick-up my order and it constantly froze on a pop-up asking if I wanted to turn notifications on. It definitely needs fixing. I'll stick to using the website to do my orders/pickups and call the store when I arrive.

As much as I love the service, I hate the app. It's so slow and it makes it harder sometimes to put an order together then it is to go to the store. Many times my cart would get the items deleted and I'd have to start over again. Very frustrating for a busy person who's trying to get groceries delivered and then have to deal with the worst app.

Works just fine. Better than Peapod in that it doesn't close when you hit "return" button. In all other ways looks just like Peapod which is fine with me. Update January 2021: the app used to have custom shopping lists, I created 5 lists for different groups of products. Haven't used the app for a while, and now I see that there is only one list, all my products are combined into one list which is not convenient. Why this good tool was removed. I am very unhappy and don't want to use it anymore.

This app is required to apply coupons and reward dollars. It hasn't functioned correctly in years. I'm sure the $$$ they've conned me out of is well worth the trouble for them! I love buying things I think are on sale only to find out I was charged full price! I didn't have any use for any of the reward money that seemingly disappears randomly, anyway! I love getting ripped off!!

Can't get app to open. Have tried unintalling and reinstalling several times in the past few days and that hasn't worked. Kept telling me I was a robot after several puzzle "tests." Currently app is uninstalled. Please fix. I rely on Stop and Shop Peadpod delivery due to my illness. Got app to work ok again but after recent update in March 2025, I now can't get into items saved in my "shopping list." It's frustrating because it always seems like there's something in the app not working.

The app no longer gives me the delivery option. I called and they "fixed" it, but it's broken again. I agree with the other comments on sponsored products and having to click more/resetting every time. I have been using this a long, long time but can't see the value if it doesn't work and it's delivered by Instacart (which I already pay for). Thinking of cancelling.

I consistently have such a hard time working with the app. It's always so slow, last big thing was my account got hacked and was fraudulently using my card to buy stuff. Now its glitches by erasing my entire order while im in the cart. im at the point that I might just shop around for another grocery store as its not convenient for my pick up needs

* Updated below App crashes and freezes every 15 minutes. Have to close and reopen repeatedly while trying to order. The most annoying app ever. 3/3/25. This app has been updated numerous times and every update is worse than the the previous. It is HORRIBLE! It is a cluttered mess and impossible to navigate. Disgusted! Do not download unless you need it for pickup I keep downloading it for pick up myself, but trying to use it for shopping is impossible

I had really liked this app at first but now it glitches so bad sometimes its useless!! How long does it take to verify the device im on??? Absolutely USELESS especially when I'm trying to check prices or sales while I'm in the store shopping and all it does is says verifying device! I've tried logging out waiting few minutes and log back in and still the same thing! FRUSTRATING is putting it mildly!!!

App has so many issues with the shopping list. Can't add notes to items. Can't specify item quantity, so "Must Buy 2" items don't show the sale price, only the price for 1, even though the website DOES. Add-in items can't have any punctuation. App STILL doesn't have link to shopping list in bottom toolbar to quickly access it from any page. I honestly don't believe anyone at S&S reads the comments, because they rarely fix anything. Very frustrating.

4-18-25 once again it's always something! It is always something with this app. Come Friday morning the sales prices are not even posted until after 8:00 or 9:00 a.m., which makes absolutely no sense because this store is only on the East Coast. Please correct me if I'm wrong. And once it does update the sales prices you have to uninstall and reinstall the app for the items you have in your bag to show the price that they are advertising in the weekly ad. I don't shop here as often anymore...

This app worked great until the last update. I see my regular homepage and I see items that I've ordered in the past. Now I can't get anything into my cart. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. That worked in the past, but not now. I am having the same problem with ordering from the main page. I've even given the app more permissions than I'd like and it still doesn't work. I rely on delivery and it's been great up until the last month or so. PLEASE FIX!!!

So, every time I want to use the app, there’s a glitch. Like now I tried to contact app support it says site temporarily down. So I’ll gripe here. Every time I open the app a pop up appears asking if I want push notifications. This is annoying for two reasons 1. I am vision impaired and all my settings are for large text, when this notification request appears, I can’t decline it as the text is so big I can’t access or scroll down to the no thanks section of the request. It’s also annoying because if I want notifications, I know how to get them you don’t have to ask me every time. I am requesting a reasonable accommodation under the Americans With Disabilities Act that you simply remove that pop up about push notifications or make your app more usable to the low vision community. I’m sure The Carroll Center for The Blind Technology department can help you figure out how to do that if you don’t already know. Thanks. I use the app for savings - coupons, points rewards etc. But I have 2 complaints. First - there should be a better way to get to the digital coupons. Only some come up at the beginning of the coupon listing. Maybe have a separate section for the weekly digital coupon specials. Very annoying to be in the store and see a digital coupon special and have to pull out my phone and find it to load it to get the savings. Second - I have always had a glitch when going through the coupons. App will just shut off and boot me out. Then I have to start scrolling all over again. I thought maybe it was just my phone, but it’s happened even with my new phone. (and yes - I do update the app on a regular basis) Between the hidden digital coupons, and glitch that shuts down the app on my phone it’s almost like they’re trying to discourage you from searching for savings. Nobody has time these days to spend an hour scrolling through coupons and weekly ads trying to make sure you’re able to take advantage of special offers. Grocery shopping isn’t that exciting that I want to be glued to this app for an hour.

You know how when you purchase several items online and they charge you? And then one of the items they send is the wrong item, or it arrives damaged, or it ends up being out of stock so they issue you a refund in the amount of that one item? Reasonable right? Yeah that’s not how Peapod works. So my guy was sick, and he usually takes me grocery shopping, so I decided to do peapod so we could stay home and he could rest. I made my selections, got a delivery time, and paid. Total charge $115 and change. Cool, cool, cool. Well a few items were out of stock and one arrived damaged so I reach out about a refund and check on my final bill, $77 even. Cool, cool, cool. Then I want to make a purchase, but it’s a significant amount and I think, we’ll after bills this week I have a little over $200 left, so this should be fine but let’s check in on the account to be sure. Ummmmm that doesn’t seem right, I barely have $100 in my account. I start looking at charges. Instead of keeping the original $115 and change, and issuing me a refund for $39 and change, Peapod kept the original charge and then charged me again for the new lower actual cost of my groceries. So now they have $193 and change of my money, and I have $77 worth of groceries. So I call, oh no worries the first charge will be refunded in 3-5 business days. Excuse me?!?! You just stole $115+ from me but it’s okay because I’ll get it back in 3-5 business days?!? How is that logical or legal!?!?!?

I used to be able to scan the barcode of a product and the result would reflect all offers attached to the product. Now when I scan a product, it does not show any attached offers. If an item has more than one offer and I click view all item offers, your app just displays the item information, instead of all the offers attached to the item. For example, Dannon Oikos yogurt has a $.65 digital coupon and an instant savings of five dollars off when you spend $15. When I click view all items offer for the Dannon Oikos, it doesn’t show any offers; it just shows details about the product. Your app used to display all offers attached to an item when scanning the barcode or clicking view all item offers. You should reinstate that feature, instead your app developers removed it and the feature is not working properly. That is a downgrade, not an upgrade. Also, your past few maintenances have emptied my online cart and cannot be restored. I logged out of the app when it was glitchy and my entire online cart was emptied. I called Stop and Shop’s customer service number and was informed I had to choose Store pick up or delivery in order to have the items in my online shopping cart saved. How asinine is that? Why do I have to change my shopping from in-store to pick up or delivery in order to save the online cart? You should really address all these aforementioned issues. This app is tremendously more useful than before. It reminds me of the Wegmans app before Wegmans ruined the app in every conceivable way. The new Stop&Shop app may actually turn us back into Stop&Shop shoppers (bye bye Wegmans and your stupid app). A few suggestions for Stop&Shop on their new app: (1) it would be very helpful to be able to pinch and enlarge the pictures, (2) please add a button on the home page to bring up a default shopping list with a single top - just like there is for the cart, (3) please save last-used sorting order for shopping list, (4) fix glitch in shopping list that requires reversion to sort by description to actually show items on list if the app is closed with the shopping list in any other sort order, (5) please add swipe to delete items from shopping list, (6) please enable more than one device to be signed in to the app - so that, for example, I can add more items to the list when my husband is also signed in on his device. Really disappointed in the changes to the app. I guess it's great if you shop online; I do not. You can no longer add the sale items directly to the shopping list. I'm back to scribbling my shopping on scrap paper. I can still access my card and clip coupons. But I'm going to miss having everything in one place, and not forgetting my shopping list at the house.

Just kept saying sign back in your session has expired. I couldn't click anything without that showing up. I couldn't click coupons, rewards, nothing. Just at the top kept saying click here to sign back in your session has been expired. No way it could be expired within seconds of me trying to click anything in the app. I deleted the app and re downloaded did not make a difference. I'd love to see coupons and my rewards but I can't get past the sign back in. Frustrating

I just uninstalled it. I've had issues with some other supermarket apps, like ShopRite for example, but I was able to make adjustments and now it works fine, not this app. Most of the time it doesn't even work. Works just fine. Better than Peapod in that it doesn't close when you hit "return" button. In all other ways looks just like Peapod which is fine with me. Update January 2021: the app used to have custom shopping lists, I created 5 lists for different groups of products. Haven't used the app for a while, and now I see that there is only one list, all my products are combined into one list which is not convenient. Why this good tool was removed. I am very unhappy and don't want to use it anymore.

4-18-25 once again it's always something! It is always something with this app. Come Friday morning the sales prices are not even posted until after 8:00 or 9:00 a.m., which makes absolutely no sense because this store is only on the East Coast. Please correct me if I'm wrong. And once it does update the sales prices you have to uninstall and reinstall the app for the items you have in your bag to show the price that they are advertising in the weekly ad. I don't shop here as often anymore...

So, every time I want to use the app, there’s a glitch. Like now I tried to contact app support it says site temporarily down. So I’ll gripe here. Every time I open the app a pop up appears asking if I want push notifications. This is annoying for two reasons 1. I am vision impaired and all my settings are for large text, when this notification request appears, I can’t decline it as the text is so big I can’t access or scroll down to the no thanks section of the request. It’s also annoying because if I want notifications, I know how to get them you don’t have to ask me every time. I am requesting a reasonable accommodation under the Americans With Disabilities Act that you simply remove that pop up about push notifications or make your app more usable to the low vision community. I’m sure The Carroll Center for The Blind Technology department can help you figure out how to do that if you don’t already know. Thanks. When will the app support page be up and running so I can complain there as well? We sincerely apologize for the troubles you've had with the app. We have shared this with our development team. I use the app for savings - coupons, points rewards etc. But I have 2 complaints. First - there should be a better way to get to the digital coupons. Only some come up at the beginning of the coupon listing. Maybe have a separate section for the weekly digital coupon specials. Very annoying to be in the store and see a digital coupon special and have to pull out my phone and find it to load it to get the savings. Second - I have always had a glitch when going through the coupons. App will just shut off and boot me out. Then I have to start scrolling all over again. I thought maybe it was just my phone, but it’s happened even with my new phone. (and yes - I do update the app on a regular basis) Between the hidden digital coupons, and glitch that shuts down the app on my phone it’s almost like they’re trying to discourage you from searching for savings. Nobody has time these days to spend an hour scrolling through coupons and weekly ads trying to make sure you’re able to take advantage of special offers. Grocery shopping isn’t that exciting that I want to be glued to this app for an hour.

I used to be able to scan the barcode of a product and the result would reflect all offers attached to the product. Now when I scan a product, it does not show any attached offers. If an item has more than one offer and I click view all item offers, your app just displays the item information, instead of all the offers attached to the item. For example, Dannon Oikos yogurt has a $.65 digital coupon and an instant savings of five dollars off when you spend $15. When I click view all items offer for the Dannon Oikos, it doesn’t show any offers; it just shows details about the product. Your app used to display all offers attached to an item when scanning the barcode or clicking view all item offers. You should reinstate that feature, instead your app developers removed it and the feature is not working properly. That is a downgrade, not an upgrade. Also, your past few maintenances have emptied my online cart and cannot be restored. I logged out of the app when it was glitchy and my entire online cart was emptied. I called Stop and Shop’s customer service number and was informed I had to choose Store pick up or delivery in order to have the items in my online shopping cart saved. How asinine is that? Why do I have to change my shopping from in-store to pick up or delivery in order to save the online cart? You should really address all these aforementioned issues. Really disappointed in the changes to the app. I guess it's great if you shop online; I do not. You can no longer add the sale items directly to the shopping list. I'm back to scribbling my shopping on scrap paper. I can still access my card and clip coupons. But I'm going to miss having everything in one place, and not forgetting my shopping list at the house.

The app is very user friendly but I had to uninstall it because my phone got burning hot every time I opened it. No other app does that to my phone and it scared me. Plus, it ate up my battery like crazy. In addition, I had issues with the store knowing I was there to pick-up my order and it constantly froze on a pop-up asking if I wanted to turn notifications on. It definitely needs fixing. I'll stick to using the website to do my orders/pickups and call the store when I arrive.

The app no longer gives me the delivery option. I called and they "fixed" it, but it's broken again. I agree with the other comments on sponsored products and having to click more/resetting every time. I have been using this a long, long time but can't see the value if it doesn't work and it's delivered by Instacart (which I already pay for). Thinking of cancelling.

App has so many issues with the shopping list. Can't add notes to items. Can't specify item quantity, so "Must Buy 2" items don't show the sale price, only the price for 1, even though the website DOES. Add-in items can't have any punctuation. App STILL doesn't have link to shopping list in bottom toolbar to quickly access it from any page. I honestly don't believe anyone at S&S reads the comments, because they rarely fix anything. Very frustrating.

Just kept saying sign back in your session has expired. I couldn't click anything without that showing up. I couldn't click coupons, rewards, nothing. Just at the top kept saying click here to sign back in your session has been expired. No way it could be expired within seconds of me trying to click anything in the app. I deleted the app and re downloaded did not make a difference. I'd love to see coupons and my rewards but I can't get past the sign back in. Frustrating

I just uninstalled it. I've had issues with some other supermarket apps, like ShopRite for example, but I was able to make adjustments and now it works fine, not this app. Most of the time it doesn't even work. And here's a fact for you, out of the 89 total apps on my phone, Stop & Shop is the ONLY APP THAT WILL NOT UPDATE!!! For months, will not update, only app. Useless. I avoid the store now as well.

Horrible update! Log in info was scrapped. When I tried to log in again, couldn't on the app. Allowed me to log in when I reset my password but there's no "remember this user" function. Once on, trying to scroll through the coupons and get sent to the BOTTOM of the next page when I tap "See More". Used to be user friendly. Now just a mess and very glitchy. I uninstalled the app.

Horrible! The previous app I had no problem crating a shopping list. I would click on the flyer and it would gret transferred to my shopping list. Now it goes to a cart for purchasing. Now I have to search all isless to create a shopping list. The app emphasizes pick up or delivery service but does very little to assist to shop within the store. The company just messed with a good app! I WOULD HAVEN GIVEN THE APP NO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION! Still can't place sale items into shopping list.

I spent a lot of time selecting items that were advertised at one price, yet checked out at a different price altogether (of course, consistently, the checkout price was higher!). Whenever I use the app it gets glitchy and freezes. I have to close the app and retry. This time, I never received a confirmation email from my order, nor a notification it was ready, nor a final receipt. In the app when I clicked on order details it only showed half the items I ordered. I had to call to confirm the other items were shown on their end, which they were.

I deleted the app, downloaded again, everything was fine...until I logged in. This has been going on for a month and have been missing out on digital coupons and weekly bonus point opportunities. Judging by the lack of replies here they either aren't aware of the problem, or simply don't care. Must be the latter. A full week has gone by and not one reply from stop and shop!

As much as I love the service, I hate the app. It's so slow and it makes it harder sometimes to put an order together then it is to go to the store. Many times my cart would get the items deleted and I'd have to start over again. Very frustrating for a busy person who's trying to get groceries delivered and then have to deal with the worst app.

This app is required to apply coupons and reward dollars. It hasn't functioned correctly in years. I'm sure the $$$ they've conned me out of is well worth the trouble for them! I love buying things I think are on sale only to find out I was charged full price! I didn't have any use for any of the reward money that seemingly disappears randomly, anyway! I love getting ripped off!!

Can't get app to open. Have tried unintalling and reinstalling several times in the past few days and that hasn't worked. Kept telling me I was a robot after several puzzle "tests." Currently app is uninstalled. Please fix. I rely on Stop and Shop Peadpod delivery due to my illness. Got app to work ok again but after recent update in March 2025, I now can't get into items saved in my "shopping list." It's frustrating because it always seems like there's something in the app not working.

I consistently have such a hard time working with the app. It's always so slow, last big thing was my account got hacked and was fraudulently using my card to buy stuff. Now its glitches by erasing my entire order while im in the cart. im at the point that I might just shop around for another grocery store as its not convenient for my pick up needs

* Updated below App crashes and freezes every 15 minutes. Have to close and reopen repeatedly while trying to order. The most annoying app ever. 3/3/25. This app has been updated numerous times and every update is worse than the the previous. It is HORRIBLE! It is a cluttered mess and impossible to navigate. Disgusted! Do not download unless you need it for pickup I keep downloading it for pick up myself, but trying to use it for shopping is impossible

I had really liked this app at first but now it glitches so bad sometimes its useless!! How long does it take to verify the device im on??? Absolutely USELESS especially when I'm trying to check prices or sales while I'm in the store shopping and all it does is says verifying device! I've tried logging out waiting few minutes and log back in and still the same thing! FRUSTRATING is putting it mildly!!!

This app worked great until the last update. I see my regular homepage and I see items that I've ordered in the past. Now I can't get anything into my cart. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. That worked in the past, but not now. I am having the same problem with ordering from the main page. I've even given the app more permissions than I'd like and it still doesn't work. I rely on delivery and it's been great up until the last month or so. PLEASE FIX!!!

You know how when you purchase several items online and they charge you? And then one of the items they send is the wrong item, or it arrives damaged, or it ends up being out of stock so they issue you a refund in the amount of that one item? Reasonable right? Yeah that’s not how Peapod works. So my guy was sick, and he usually takes me grocery shopping, so I decided to do peapod so we could stay home and he could rest. I made my selections, got a delivery time, and paid. Total charge $115 and change. Cool, cool, cool. Well a few items were out of stock and one arrived damaged so I reach out about a refund and check on my final bill, $77 even. Cool, cool, cool. Then I want to make a purchase, but it’s a significant amount and I think, we’ll after bills this week I have a little over $200 left, so this should be fine but let’s check in on the account to be sure. Ummmmm that doesn’t seem right, I barely have $100 in my account. I start looking at charges. Instead of keeping the original $115 and change, and issuing me a refund for $39 and change, Peapod kept the original charge and then charged me again for the new lower actual cost of my groceries. So now they have $193 and change of my money, and I have $77 worth of groceries. So I call, oh no worries the first charge will be refunded in 3-5 business days. Excuse me?!?! You just stole $115+ from me but it’s okay because I’ll get it back in 3-5 business days?!? How is that logical or legal!?!?!?

This app is tremendously more useful than before. It reminds me of the Wegmans app before Wegmans ruined the app in every conceivable way. The new Stop&Shop app may actually turn us back into Stop&Shop shoppers (bye bye Wegmans and your stupid app). A few suggestions for Stop&Shop on their new app: (1) it would be very helpful to be able to pinch and enlarge the pictures, (2) please add a button on the home page to bring up a default shopping list with a single top - just like there is for the cart, (3) please save last-used sorting order for shopping list, (4) fix glitch in shopping list that requires reversion to sort by description to actually show items on list if the app is closed with the shopping list in any other sort order, (5) please add swipe to delete items from shopping list, (6) please enable more than one device to be signed in to the app - so that, for example, I can add more items to the list when my husband is also signed in on his device.
