The app works very well and is detailed, but if i may give a suggestion: please add a section for "notes". Each time a place an order I have to call the store to ask if they can place the pepperoni on bottom (underneath the cheese). It's not a difficult task, but sometimes it gets confusing due to miscommunication with the preper. Adding this specific field for notes will save time and not allow me to complete my requests all within the app, but I'm sure others would benefit from it. Thank you!
I mostly love this app. I would like more customization options for the different items. There really needs to be an allergy button to alert the cooks making the order. For example, there's not a button for leaving the seasoning off of the papabowls. I'm allergic to wheat, and the seasoning has wheat in it. I have to call the location to let them know every time which defeats the purpose of using the app. There's not a place to leave special instructions unless you're getting it delivered.
The app typically works well and is easy to use. I really wish there was an option to leave feedback on your order or contact the store through the app. My orders are frequently wrong, but my only way to address it is in-store. I've tried the online customer support, but the order number format doesn't match. The app would be a great tool for this.
Papa John's is always my go to when it comes to pizza. The one issue that I have is in your settings when you have notifications on it says in fine print they only send one notification daily. but for me I get like 10 and it's always the exact same thing over and over. there will be times I'll get the same thing even worded differently. gets annoying waking up in the morning to a row on notifications about the same thing. been more recently because of the shaq-a-roni pizza.
The app itself is great. Interface is simple to use and is great with tracking rewards points. However, the order tracking features have gone downhill. I've had several disgruntled employees tell me to over the phone that even though the app says the order has been delivered, it hasn't even been fully prepared. It's very frustrating.
App works fine but sometimes slow, these 6.99 or 8.99 deals are a scam, they should be totaling to about $14 or less than $10 but then it's almost $30 when you go to check out. If it says the price then changes and nearly triples, that seems very sketchy and I'm unsure about ordering from here again. I also had numerous times where my points I earned would never appear or they just disappear randomly.
After making some dietary adjustments to my pizza (no cheese, subbed topping), I upgraded from a large to an extra large on the checkout screen. This apparently reset the entire pizza to the default, which we couldn't eat because of the cheese. It would be nice if making one change wouldn't reset the entire order. Also, adjusting one topping to a half side, and adding a new one on the other side shouldn't count as an extra toppings.
There needs to be a "high volume of customers" alert added to the app. Not sure if its just my location but the last 2 times I ordered, the indicated delivery time was "89-99" min...The order was for a single pizza to be delivered less than 1 mile away. Then after calling to cancel the order I dont get my money back for 3 days. Order had been cold more times than I care to mention. Pretty lame.
Why are you defaulting tips on pickup orders? I thought i had requested delivery, and had my thought confirmed when, as i checked out, it defaulted to adding a tip. it was only when I got a notification that my pizza was ready for pickup that I realized I put it in for carry out. normally, i wouldn't care, it's my mistake, but why did the app default to give a tip on a carryout order? I very much feel cheated out of my money
App doesn't include a way to note problems with your order. Twice now, at separate locations, I've ordered a large specialty epic stuffed crust, but either got a normal crust or just regular stuffed crust. There's no way to indicate that the order was incorrect in any way. And often (with delivery) its too late call the location with the problem. This honestly l, turns me off to the app and to papa johns, so I don't think I'll be ordering from you guys again.
App would get at least 4 out of 5, except it sent my order to a location 20 miles away. I thought that when I selected my address it would send the order to store in the same zip code. Local store was kind enough to charge the same amount when we sorted out what happened, but I had to wait another 15 minutes and no rewards. Thanks a lot app developers. Please make it more intuitive for the user select the specific store.
Frustrated. Used to be fabulous, but ordered in another town,, now defaults to that location with no option to change delivery location. My original location and customer information have apparently disappeared completely. Will NOT sign up for a new account, just because y'all can't get the digital act together. Oh, and when I try to call direct to my local store, I get a call center off-shore, with no idea how to help. They tried to transfer me to local store, with no success.
Wow...just wow. I've been using this app for years. The recent updates are really nice making the app smooth and easy to use. Doesn't sound like a one star review does it? I just noticed on my last delivery order (I typically do carryout and don't calculate a tip) that the preset tip amounts are GROSSLY over calculated. I had a total of $47.77 and it claimed that 20% was $11.68! Are you joking? Preying on people that don't take the time to do the math? Scummy & shameful tactics...Do better!
App lies to you about deals. Beware! I just placed an order and used a coupon. lt didn't tell me until it had already processed the transaction with a discount that it wasn't valid and went ahead and processed the transaction for the full amount. There was a $10 difference.. it even showed the discount total. Haven't had this from Domino's App before. Sounds like that's where I'm going to be ordering all my pizza from now. needless to say, I'm really pissed about this. what a rip off.
I like ordering Papa Johns from the app, then carrying out from a location that's near my house. I'm happy with the pizza and service at my local store, but I am frustrated by the app itself. The Android version of this app has no Cancel button on the credit card entry page. I wanted to change my payment method, but was unable to do so without force-quitting and starting over. I am dumbfounded by this design choice.
if I could give -5 I would. I have tried off and on for almost a year to sign up so I can get the rewards like you do with Marco's Pizza. sad to say it always says error can't create account at this time. so therefore I am going to cancel order and delete app. one manager did tell me yeah they have problems with the app well apparently nobody cares enough to do anything about it and I don't care enough to continue trying. love is lost now/bite me.
Don't know what the issue was, but I tried creating an account for 3 days and it kept saying it couldn't create one. Basically, it gets one star for being an effective means of looking at the menu, but what good is a "reward" app that doesn't allow you to earn "rewards"? That's right...doing a third to half of the job for them while paying basically the same price. Even Dominos lets you create an account AND browse the menu.
Permanent "Unknown Error" at Checkout, multiple tries, clearing the cart each time: App & OS up to date. Force Stopped the app, cleared cache, restarted phone, still no go. We have been able to order in the past. At least give a hint as to what went wrong, the code knows exactly what it was doing, or trying to do, in order to put up that useless message. Please fix.
Do not use this app. It's ripoff. Whenever I try to use my reward, it suddenly can't connect to network, both cellular and wifi. Funny thing is I have no problem watching YouTube or use other food apps. But this app always goes down when using rewards. If you order without using reward, it works fine. Just know you won't be able to use any rewards you rack up before you download.
