Great animating app! This app is awesome for animating because... 1. You can do lots of stuff on it! You can make a stickman fight another stickman! You can make Goku and Vegeta fight each other! Heck, you can even make Luffy from One Piece fight a giant ant if you wanted to! 2. Possibilities! The possibilities are endless with downloading items from other creators! 3. Creativity! If you wanted to, you could make an item or tool! Overall, it is awesome and I recommend you use it! Thx 4 ur time!
THIS GAME IS FIRE!!!!!!! If I didn't stumble upon this app, I would have never gotten into animation. I love it SOOOOOOOO much! and the fact that one person made it is insane! I keep recommending this to my siblings, but they just don't understand the amazing details of this game! I hope to see this game skyrocket like other amazing games
A simple, yet very capable animating app. Very well made, just a few problems though. When I use around 10 filters at once (on separate objects) the frames lag (everything's smooth except for when I navigate the frame, but nothing else is affected). This is the only problem I have, and honestly it's not a huge deal on most projects, though I do have war models, so it might later...
I have an idea about space. Instead of making the game crash an lose everything that wasn't saved, why not make it have a space limit when it reaches the maximum amount. (as if you were making a node and you reach the max node amount. That kind of warning) The app won't crash, but it will stop you from going any further and tell you some options like making another part where you left off, reopening it and continue with a different load percentage, etc. I still love the app though.
I love this app so much because when I'm mad I like to do what I like best. ANIMATING!!!. But I have an idea for a new feature. So you all know how you can import pictures from your gallery. Well what about importing videos. For example. You record a video and it goes into your gallery, then you could look under the import photo button and see a import video button. Then you could click on the video you recorded. and then every time you click the add frame button it adds another picture of it
This is a very good Animation software, and I've used it to make plenty of animations, and it was well worth the money. I would suggest more features for textfields, such as layering text behind figures, as well as custom fonts that can be placed in the "Stick Nodes" folder similarly to stickfigures.
I have tried plenty of other animation apps. but genuinely, sticknodes is absolutely the best I've installed. Their website is filled to the brim with characters to animate, either it be anime, dinosaur, videogames, cartoon characters, animals, backgrounds, or plants, whatever your wanting to animate, they have it on the website
It's great! It works like a charm and the online community has a lot of nice models I can use! I just wish we could select more than one frame and move more than one joint at a time for easier walking kicking and punching animations. Also to make a function that makes it so stickmen can't clip together for an easier time making collisions. I also wish there was a way to push segments behind or in the front in the main module
This is the best of the bestest bests, I have spent so much time on this and it is awesome, also I have an idea, might take a while to code but make something in effects called fizz, so the more you turn it up the more fizzy the stick figure gets. And another one is auto animate, there will be built in animations that you can use, such as walking, jumping, or climbing... Please?
I wanna start with. I absolutely love this app. It's amazing and I have used it for years. It's always held up as a great, easy to use app. But I'd love to use this review to hopefully recommend something I have a personal issue with, lol. I personally feel that the sound effect system could be a lot better. While it's a lot to ask, I'd love to be able to add bigger files to the app to use as sound effects. As well as maybe adding a sort of "timeline" for sound effects to help with easy use. TY!
After some studying and use, this app is totally awesome!! I've had for it for years and decided to finally rate it. I've had an awesome experience! I have a suggestion however; it would be neat if you added a fade in the frame tools(including how fast the fade is 😅), that way one could fade in and out between frames. Kinda like a black screen, like in a dramatic movie preview(or whatever color) just a suggestion that I believe would make the app even cooler! Thanks a mill!
It's great! I do have a suggestion though. Could there be like a "color group" thing for stickfigures? Like a way to add segment colors or gradients (and polyfills) to a Color group, and the group would work like the StickFigure color, in that you can change one setting and all the nodes and gradients and polyfills linked to it would change.
Love the app and love the features, if you are looking for something to waste time on, then get this app. I have 1 suggestion, a overlapping sound feature would be awesome, for 2 sounds happening in one frame for your project(s). I lied, I have another suggestion, a change to button. You would select the stick figure and hit the change to button and it would show a list of the stick figure(s) you have. And if you use tween frames and you change you stick figure to something else. (edited)
I've been using this app for about 4 or 3 years I think now, and in my opinion, it's the one of the best animation apps on here: it's simple, easy, and making animations are a lot of fun because of that. Making stks/models (it did take me a while to learn how to make though) are pretty easy to make, it can still be tricky and it takes some time, it can be easy and simple to learn and do. So 10/10, would highly recommend for beginners and for really anybody who's interested lol.
This is the best stickman animating app ever. I like how you can make your own stickfigures and stuff. But I think you should add weapons into the import list so we dont have to make it or search for it in the website to download the stickfigures, like for example a sword. And, maybe even more backgrounds! I just don't like the fact that sometimes we can try to get the arm but then it pretends we are grabbing the torso. And, I was making a "Bullies be like" animation and it was tweened but laggy
It's the best simple animation app, it works on a low-end phone and high-end PC. It has thousands of figures in the Sticknodes website you can download for free and use to animate. Or make your own, with endless possibilities! It's easy to animate, just add frame and repose over and over. Ignore the bad reviews, they don't know anything.
Let me just say that this animation app saved me a LOT of time. with its easy to use features stick nodes is by far one of the best animation apps. To use it you can use the stick figure given to you once you start it up, Or you can import a stick figure that you downloaded. You can get more stick figures by downloading them from the stick nodes site and there are unlimited stick figures to choose from. What I really like about it is how easy it is. I no longer have to keep drawing every time I want a new frame. And there is a DARK MODE who can go wrong with a dark mode! Ralph If your reading this I just want to say that this app is amazing, If not outstanding. There are some bugs here and there but that made up for its easy to use features and it’s unlimited source of stick figures and it’s community. Although here is a suggestion maybe add something where we can import and use music in the app just like how we can import sounds other than that this app is great and I recommend it. Thanks a lot for the review, glad you like the app! Although here is a suggestion maybe add something where we can import and use music in the app - this is actually something I've planned for a while, hopefully coming soon!
Hello Ralph, you don’t know me, but I have a YT channel. D1gital4rt1st. I have a few videos on there and I enjoy making them. But the video I love most is my stick nodes animation. Go check it out. But what I am here to say is, please make the game multiplayer. It would improve everybody’s animation by a lot. But here are some of the problems I already thought of. Since you are working on the animation together, there should be like a group thing you can create. But if the other people want to delete a frame or the project, they should ask the creator of the group. It sends them a message and tells them to select yes or no. Next is the connection thing. It sends the people invites to the group, which lets them say yes or no, and then adding on to that, my favorite part, USERNAMES. It would be really cool to have accounts and usernames on stick nodes they are so that everybody can Identify you. When you scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu on the left, it shows all of the multiplayer items and tools. If you have made it this far Ralph, or whoever it is reading this, please support my idea. If you choose not to plz don’t say anything. Thank you for your time. Thanks for the rating, and glad you enjoy the app! Multiplayer is actually a really cool idea that I had myself a while back, and others have suggested. I could see that being not only a good way to collab but even just a fun thing to do with some nonsense animation with friends or w/e. I think if I were to go about that, it would really actually have to be a completely new app. SN is a bit too, robust and hasn't been built with multiplayer in mind so, it would basically need to be re-made from scratch. It's an interesting thought though and I am still toying with the idea.
I remember first getting the pro version a while back, I was just using the free version making silly animations and showing them to my family like I was the next Disney lol, this app has brought me so many good memory’s and friends honestly the community around the app is amazing and so is the developer! (Notice how he actually responds to reviews and not some generic generated response) The app is basically a “simple†animating tool, I call it simple as in easy to get into, hard to really master type business. I’ve seen some amazing stuff made in this, and honestly is a good competitor to stick based animation apps on computer, but with the luxury of having it in your pocket to use anywhere. I really don’t have any complaints about this app it’s 100% worth the price! (The only thing I dislike is how you can’t import large audio files, but not a big deal.) I don’t tend to animate as much in this anymore, but it’s still fun just to pop on this when I have free time and make something. Thanks for the memory’s and all the good times you brought me, Ralph. (Sorry for the weird long review)
Obviously there are limits to a node animation platform, but with Stick Nodes it’s starting not to matter. I enjoyed the free version for about 2 years before I finally got permission to drop the $2 on pro, and it’s been amazing. The ability to add sounds and export as MP4 made it worth my money 10x over, and then the new updates came out with adding tweeted frames. It is as powerful as you promised and cut minutes off a workload. Polyfill nodes bring in many possibilities and I’ve been loving everything that the pro comes with. The killer in this update though DEFINITELY has to be the auto-camera. One use of it is all you need to see just how powerful Stick Nodes has become. Seriously, auto panning and resizing the camera on its own!? The only real problem I have with the app at this point is that to delete or add a mass number of frames you have to mash the buttons like a God Of War QTE. Being able to hold the buttons down would be a nice alternative. That aside, this is the best node animation apps on the internet and one of the much better animation platforms overall in my opinion. You’ve made your money with this one Ralph. Man, I really appreciate reviews like this, thank you for taking the time to give your rating! I didn't even realize this was a year-old review, now I'm just thinking of all the new features that have been added since then you hopefully enjoyed as well lol. Thanks again.
When I first started this app,I was about 13 years old...it was,well,meh...it had almost nothing in it, but then came -THE UPDATES- and then all of a sudden the app started getting sooooo much better and better and BETTER and so good that I just HAD to get the pro version.I was having such a good time with the app that it almost wasn’t an app at ALL, it was more like a game I could play, where I could be anything at any place at anytime, I was getting hooked on animation, and in the process of working (playing) I got so much better at it, I got so much experience that I was actually PROUD of what I was doing, in fact SO proud that I wanted to start a career out of it, and so I did.I started to show my friends and family and they would help me get ideas to make it more challenging...if it weren’t for this app,I wouldn’t have found my purpose in life, so whether your just looking for “Sticknodes and chill†or making stories,THIS APP is for YOU, so what are you waiting for?STOP reading this and go download this AWESOME, no that’s an understatement...this MAGNIFICENT APP RIGHT NOW...thank you to Ralph for inspiring so many to find a big purpose in a little app -thank you-your good buddy-Fenn Ngl I never intended to keep updating SN 6+ years later lol. But here we are. Thank you for sticking (sorry) around and thanks for the review! Glad you enjoy the app so much.
This app is phenominal (is that how you spell it?)! It is so intuitive and really encourages creativity! You can animate anything in this app from short animations to full movies! You can also make any creature and object you can come up with! Humans, monsters, aliens, animals, buildings, cities. The possibilities are endless! I would love to see where this app is taken!
Ralph, you have done incredible with Sticknodes, the normal and pro versions! I have no problem with the app, not at all. I only have suggestions. One suggestion is for you to add a split stick figure option for the animations. This could open up many many possibilities for stickfigures losing limbs without having to make another stick figure. It could make the possibility of making a collapsible cave! This is just a possible possibility if that even makes sense. I can't wait for future updates!
Im glad I found this app, a while ago I installed it and have used it a lot. Recently I re-installed it and I figured that I would give it a proper review finally. This app is very versatile, yet also very simple and easy to use. Your animations could range from a simple little stickfigure walking around, to an intense fight scene between two characters. But if the devs do end up reading this, I was wondering if you could maybe add a feature that allows one to rotate their view of the workspace.
All these years and still no PC port of the game, it's a shame... Easily would be among the best animation tools for PC in my opinion. I absolutely dislike having to use a phone for this as it's such little screen space, and less powerful than a PC. I bet it could easily run on most computers anyway. I used this since I was a preteen, it's been a while If we had a real PC port of this awesome creation, then we wouldn't need to emulate it on PC.
I have used sticknodes for years, and when I upgraded it, it was even better. I always use my own sounds/mp3 files to make my animations, and I could understand if the makers didnt want 30 second long mp3 clips (after a bit of file compressing I can get it to show up) because after 4 or 5 seconds of the audio playing it cuts off. If I export the clip all the audio would be there, but durring the making of the animation, its very difficult to sync the animation to the audio if it just cuts off.
