I have had mostly positive experiences buying and selling on this app. However, it would be very, very helpful if search results could somehow filter out accounts that haven't been active in years. Nothing crushes my heart like finding something I love, and then realizing the seller hasn't logged in since 2014. I would like to only see things that I can actually buy, not get my hopes up only to realize the item (and potentially the seller) has been gone for years.

My preferred app for selling clothes. The only issue I have with the app is that you can't turn off the notification when someone shares your listing without also shutting off the notification for when someone likes your listing. Sometimes you get what seems like 100+ share notifications in a row and your phone blows up. I want to shut that off, but it's lumped into the like notification. I do want to know when someone likes my listing so I can send them an offer. Please separate them!

I've been selling lightly used clothes and designer purses on this app since 2018. you really have to be active, sharing listings constantly in order to get any traction. almost all my sales come from when I send a special offer to someone who likes an item. the high shipping fee ($8) makes it very hard to sell lower $ items. it results in a lot of low ball offers, that aren't worth the hassle of mailing after PM takes their cut of the sale.

I'm uninstalling. I have a $10 credit in my balance that I cannot use. When I tried to purchase something, I was prompted to sign up for shopsmarter to actually use the $10 credit. I don't want to because shopsmarter seems suspicious. Plus I don't know why I should have to do that to use POSHMARK credit. I did not sign up. The order went though without using the $10 credit. Leaving 2 stars because at least I was allowed to cancel the order quickly. That's the only good thing about this app.

Not new user-friendly at all. I've used lots of shopping apps before, and this one is very hard to navigate. I think this app might be full of bots or something, too, because as soon as I made my account, I was flooded by random followers and notifications to the in-app inbox. I ended up deleting my account because I kept getting emails from Poshmark even after unsubscribing from them. And they make it VERY hard to do so, like they're purposely hiding the option behind the countless settings.

New fees are so sleazy. They charge both the buyer and the seller and if you are a buyer the fees are based on the total including tax and shipping. I bought a pair of $35 pants that cost me $50. So tired of getting hit with junk fees in every direction. And on top of that the product they are offering does not justify that price, poor search and filtering options. Just completed my last purchase with them and will be sticking to eBay, thredup and in person thrifting.

As a buyer, I have no problems with this app. As a seller, however, I'm really disappointed with this newer version of Poshmark. Unless you are constantly engaging on the app or pay for a promoted closet, it's nearly impossible to make a sale. The AI component is more frustrating than helpful. I can no longer recommend selling items on this app unless you want to feel cheated.

App added buyer fees. It used to only have seller fees. It makes it much harder to justify purchases. Not sure if I will use the app moving forward EDIT, attempted my first sale but upon buyer purchasing it required a bunch of unnecessary info. I don't want to verify a phone number. I don't think other platforms require uploading a license. I've been buying on here for years. I decided to sell on another platform.

Worst Online Support I've encountered!! I was trying to sell items, and when a customer bought an item, I received a link from Poshmark to verify and send funds. Something happened during that process, and I was unable to verify. After contacting support 4 different times with no response, I gave up and listed my items elsewhere. Truthfully, I've bought items through this process, and it was super easy and quick. Great seller response, but trying to sell items GOOD LUCK Super Disappointed

They hold your money hostage. Trying to set up to be a seller, you have to verify your bank account. Fair enough. Was advised they would trigger a transaction, but it would be canceled prior to exiting my account. after some back and forth, poshmark withdrew over $2,300 from my bank account then said they "couldn't verify" my account and that i would have to use paypal or venmo. after asking multiple times, they said the ONLY way to get my money refunded is through a PayPal card. they lie

Used to be a fun great platform to both buy and sell new and in good condition used items. As it has grown, it is more challenging to sell. Plus they take 20% commission which is pretty high. Can't get the commission check mailed. App has glitches that Poshmark's IT team have no clue how to fix so they pressure you to do direct deposits. Lots of random scammers joining the platform everyday. Many loyal sellers/buyers have left the platform and many leaving going forward.

After my most recent experience- I will never be buying anything from poshmark again after my most recent experience. I bought something with misleading images and asked for a refund when I realized the images were not what they gave off. The seller instantly shut me down. I opened a case, the seller was very defensive and dismissive. Poshmark sided with them saying I should have asked more questions. Why would I ask Qs if the pix look exactly what I want? Support also takes long to respond.

Seems like a reputable app but in the few days I've been using it, this is my experience: Changes to my listings aren't saved. Unreliable looking through everything I've posted. Unable to post. My entire "closet" of postings has disappeared. Hundreds of "followers" before even listing an item. Automatically following accounts I have never clicked on. Being solicited to email people/other scams.

Make sure if you take a offer you really want it ,because posh mark makes it almost impossible to cancel it, there isn't a way to cancel orders that you take a offer on , you have to contact posh mark then they tell you up to 3 days to respond!!! by that time the item you didn't want is sent and now you're responsible for paying for shipping back ,this is another way they get people, I would buy off ebay or another Trusted app ,and yes I attempted to stop the order 2 hours of accepting it .

The seller has 7 full days to ship your order and gets reminded to ship. If they still don't ship, they get another 32 hours before the order is canceled, and you have to wait until the money is finally refunded to your account. Such a joke! If the seller does not ship after confirming that they plan on shipping, there needs to be some sort of penalty. why cater the seller & punish the buyer?!

It's hard to justify any purchase when there's an $8 shipping charge, even on an item that's only $5. The search filter on this IS GARBAGE. You give it very specific searches, and it throws you tons of yard sale finds that literally no one wants. The most frustrating part is sellers are allowed to abandon their shop without any indication to the customer. I regularly have to gamble if I want to buy an item, because it might not ever ship.

beware of the fees they tack on, i sold a pair of brand new boots never been worn for $85. After the shipping and their fees, I was only getting $50! its not like ebay where you can choose if the buyer is paying for shipping. I'm not letting something go that I already put for a good deal, just to get hardly any profit. Its hard to navigate and its confusing if your not already a reseller.

Way too many scammers trying to get you to sell them your item off Poshmark. They need to be filtered better. The fees Poshmark charges to both the buyer AND seller are INSANE. Almost a $20 - $30 difference on every item AT LEAST. Most sellers are awful but are still labeled as a verified shop. UPDATE: Lovely! Now the app doesnt work at all! I cant upload, edit, or do literally anything to my listings. I'll be switching to Depop from now on.

No end to spam! As soon as I post a new listing, several bots pretending to be Poshmark Support assail me and try to steal my information. Apparently Poshmark doesn't care because they don't do anything about this known problem. In the meantime, I'm yet to sell a single thing since starting on July 5th. The platform for posting is also a pain, it often doesn't save your edits, and crops your photos. On the buy side, having to pay $8 something in shipping for EVERYTHING really sucks too.

I have used this app once to make a purchase, and decided that I will finally use it to sale some things, just to find out somehow for no reason at all my account has been locked. I had to reach customers service several times for the last 6 months, just to get that information, and when I asked why was I locked out if I have only use the app once, they never responded again. Don't waste your time with this app. you're better off with Facebook marketplace.
