Very useful for me atleast as I am living in the remote hilly area and struggling to better reception. This app helped me to select the best and fast operator in my area. Would suggest to add cell tower locator feature and also try to give more precise details about eNodeB and Tracking Area.

Hey Michal, thanks for making this app. Your app among many others is the only one that shows very accurate network informatiom including LTE. I can donate to support your development effort in whatever small way I can. Keep up the good work. Please do not bombard with ads. Its very annoying. Thanks once again.

Well . Nice new update but something is missing . The good thing about this app was that it showed for 4G also the Frequency in case of CA . Now it just shows 3CA and bandwidth 20Mhz +10+10. It is a nice addition , great but main feature is lost. Please bring back freq like 1800 ( 20Mhz ) + 1800 (10Mhz) + 2100 (10Mhz) . Mainly app was awesome in showing what Bands are aggregated. Unfortunately that is lost now. Great updates though but don't take features away .

Great little app for local cell site info wherever you are. Also good for monitoring what/who your device is attached to by default as an added extra as it can show up antennas acting as cell-sites too. Nice little app.

Provides all info I need without root but struggles with 5cc (doesn't show all bands despite showing bandwidth). Also the list keep updating too quickly so I can't read it (cells moving up and down as carrier aggregation engages and disengages). Will email dev.

Recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S23. Now this app constantly stops running when not in the foreground. I have RAM Plus turned off. I've tried using the stable Android 13 and the Samsung Android 14 Beta. Same thing. Didn't have any issues on my Galaxy S21 with Android 13. Update: Did a factory reset of my phone without restoring any backups. This fixed the issue. Previously I used Samsung SmartSwitch to copy everything from my Galaxy S21 to my S23.

Has saved my life..making me aware of what was around me. Stopped working fully for me fully. I used the free app for years. Thank you, NetMonster team.

Excellent app for getting info of mobile networks. However, could you please add the possiblity to set bit length for 5G gNB ID? Otherwise we are not able to have useful gNB info in the app. br Jahid Masud

You have to change the name of this app..it's the best cellular diagnostic app I've ever seen and I'm an expert in the field. Net Monster sounds like malware and it doesn't appear in any search results when looking for play store cellular tools. You gotta change the name of the app to something like Cellulitis which would bump you to a million downloads in a month. Seriously, call it anything else; Cellularitis, CellMonster, GodOfSignals, MobileExtreme, CellularMonsterTower, or UnrootMobileHax.

Great app. Really useful when you need to orient cellular signal booster. Just open the app, drive around and give app some time to process results. Then look at the map to find a better option. It's also possible to extract locations manually from log using context menu.

Love the app really cool, not someone who deals with mobile networking. Would love to see the ability for two or more phones to connect and by simulatiously taking measurments that are accurately time stampped create a more accurate location finding capabilities. I am not perticularly versed in the technology but I am sure you could as they say in csi and stuff "twaiangwuwaite" the signal.

Indeed this this app is very good: it shows information on neighbor carriers and the aggregated carriers, which I have not found in any other similar app I tried. Thank you! The UI is pretty simple but works. It would be GREAT if it would also show the CQI for each used carrier. Also it would be helpful if it would also show the LTE/NR band numbers (such as: 5, or n5), currently it shows the frequency band, like AWS for LTE band 4, or 700 for LTE Band 13.

NetMonster v3.1.1 is a smart and reliable app for anyone curious about mobile networks. It shows live data like signal strength, LTE bands, cell ID, and more in a clean layout. The app runs smoothly, uses minimal battery, and doesn’t need internet to function. Great for testing SIM performance or spotting weak signal zones. Even in areas with poor coverage, it helps pinpoint which tower you're connected to.

This is a very good app, shows me all network stats and I can put towers on the map. I'm on free version. For everyone wondering why "5G only" option in their area doesn't work is because it probably uses 5G NSA which needs LTE to work, if you have 5G SA in your area then it works Update: 7/30/2024: still good but now I have a glitch where 5G SA cells locations won't be added to my log even after I add the location my self

my suggestion is to give the option bsnl 4g that particular band only connects 700 or 2100 or 2500. signal strength or weak does not matter only i select band connect.

This software is finished. Completely ruined. The author has introduced a subscription system for one month or for a year. for Premium version. There is no lifetime purchase option. This is catastrophically bad. It is impossible to continue using this software.

Hmmm... Privacy policy - "NetMonster does not contain advertisements". Update app - oh look, consent screen for targeted ads, followed by ads. Checks changelog for mention of ads - nothing. I'm not against ads as such, as long as they're not too dominant, but why all the secrecy? That aside, the app is great and does pretty much what you'd expect (very handy for checking bandwidth in use), except for cell locations which are - at best - eclectic.

Super complicated. No user documentation. After playing with it for a bit of time, all it ever displays is my T-Mobile phone, even though I have a Tracfone Doesn't seem to be any setting to select anything but a T-Mobile carrier. When I purchased this dumb app, it said it shows all the mobile networks around you. It does NOT do what it claims, but I guess for three stupid dollars, I get just three dollars worth of details. Lousy app.

Much of the information provided was a revelations I was unfamiliar with. App is not for the amature. After fiddling with it for a couple of hours & was using the show the tower function, & when looking at the map there was nothing there? ( Can understand there will be a bit of leway in location. But could find nothing W/in a matter of blocks? So all in all I can't recommend this app!

I just wanna use the app, to access the band selection and they want "permissions" for location, notifications and phone access. I dont like that. Im not using the cell monitoring function.
