It's free and there aren't any ads so I have a hard time wanting to rip it apart but there are a lot of minor annoyances that add up quick. Especially if you've an odd collection of old books that have seemingly been forgotten. It serves as a great way to keep track of your books and for the most part an ISBN is all that's needed. Whoever first wrote in the summaries must've been a low-income librarian however as most are literally "Old book. Front cover good condition" or otherwise superfluous
Love the ease of use with multiple search options. The ability to add new categories, notes and photos.... Updated review 9/6/25 - After years of enjoying this app I've noticed my data is disappearing. covers gone, descriptions changed to what looks like a used book listing. Series deleted and unable export the list so I can verify my library. The app has lost my trust. Looking for a replacement.
I started using this app to track my purchased books for insurance purposes and it has exceeded my expectations. The scanning feature to add books to my library works really well and I can add other forms of media as well if I want. It's easy to track my reading progress and how many books are read vs unread. overall, really great app.
This is my indispensable library app. It keeps track of all my books (I don't collect other forms of media, but it works for those too), and gives me access to my entire home library with views by title or author. It is easily searchable. Adding books is a breeze by scanning the ISBN code - the app looks up the book and automatically pulls in the relevant information. Or, you can add it manually, as I do with my older/rare books. It saves the book cover photo with the listing. Excellent app!!!
The app works much better than any other book cataloguing app I've ever used. It's completely free, with no ads and unlimited book space. My only complaint is that the description of the books is completely unrelated to the plot of the books most of the time, and the author's name is almost always wrong. Other than that, the app is great.
