Overall the app is great at showing where someone is, but there are minor glitches. It will give a notification someone has arrived home when they're still 1/4 mile away. Can't add a strip mall that far away because it thinks it's home. If someone is riding a train it says they're driving. If two people ride together in a car, they're both driving.
Was working great until the last week. Every morning it keeps saying a person on my life360 has left and returned home when they haven't left at all. Also shows a map as if some of us are moving around on our properties all night and it is saying we are driving way faster than we are. This is going to get kids in trouble when they are actually not speeding. My app is completely updated. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn't help. How do I fix this?
So untrustworthy and inaccurate. The location can be "accurate" within a distance of about half a mile. Not helpful in many situations. That's if the app updates a person's location at all. Often, it shows my husband or one of my kids still at our home or at a place they were much earlier in the day and it stays stuck at that location for many hours. We always check for updates when it starts acting up and there aren't any. We've had to log out and back in or even uninstall the app and reinstall
Used to be a good app. Lately, the app loses connection with locations. The screen comes up blank. I can not see the location of anyone in my circle. I have to force the app to stop and then go back into the app. It will work a few times, then stop again. Very annoying. So I was asked to contact support, I did. Their solution was basically to log out and log back in. I have to do this several times a week. What a pain. Well, now the app crashes every time it comes up. No longer works on android.
For the most part, I love the app as it gives me peace of mind in knowing where my family is, especially when they are traveling. However, it's not always accurate. My family member can be in one place (verified) but the app will show otherwise (and no their phones were not left behind). There are delays (lagging) in the app, as well. I have the Gold membership, because of the added benefits due to the amount of traveling my family does. Really wish this app would improve its accuracy.
