relatively easy to use app. good exclusive deals can normally ve found when ordering online. an overall user friendly experience however I would add that the menu could be organized a little better other than that no complaints cause the food for sure is always good in my opinion
Functional. Not having any errors myself. There was an error on the banks end- despite updating my addresses they had an old address still active on their end, which is why some stores may decline your debit visa. Not a fan of their menu layout, too much white and weirdly organized.
Chasing history... I grew up having KFC for man Bdays, holidays, and other (family) events. Chicken was great (juicy, tender,skin was amazing), fries/gravy was always good, coleslaw was the best anywhere, and other items were amazing. Not many years ago, maybe a decade ago, the proverbial cart started going downhill... fast... with the wheels falling off... Skip to now and the chicken is way too greasy, the herbs n spices were bought at a thrift shop, the pieces are unknown,and it sux now.
The app is great. It's really easy to navigate however, after the recent update, I wasn't able to find the tab where I can put instructions on. I used to be able to put a specific request there so the people prepares mine correctly. Now that that tab or space where the instructions used to be is gone, I have to call the store to let them know I like my chicken because there is only option of 50/50 spicy and regular. I wish they bring this option back where you can write instruction
I enjoy the ease of using the app for the most part, the app is well designed and you can find offers easily. However, the reason for the low the rating is the payment system they use when doing a mobile order - it's not in the app, it opens up an in-app browser that freezes constantly, and even after entering your payment details and hitting submit, half the time it doesn't work!!
Kept getting an "Oops. Something went wrong" error message when opening it. Update: uninstalled then reinstalled, which seemed to fix that error. But this app is still a waste of time. Other fast food apps, like McD's, are really good at taking your money but suck at everything else. This KFC app is improved for order taking, but is horrible for processing payments. 🤣 Wait forever, if it even works at all. Never sure if it's safe to back out. So another place gets my business instead of KFC.
Works ok. Payment is strange.... it opens a new web page, within the app, in order to pay. I had to re- login on that page, then force a refresh, twice, before it finally gave me the chance to finalize payment. Other apps just work.
absolutely garbage of an app when it comes to making payment for mobile orders and then the restaurant will not honor any app deal since order is not placed. KFC needs to figure out in app payment rather than redirecting to a browser that never loads. I have tried this with multiple phones and same outcome. App is also super slow.
The main page of the app displays but clicking on any of the buttons does nothing. I cleared cache + local data and reinstalled the app but it's still broken. When it used to work it seemed to take forever to click through the menus and put together orders. Payment processing would also take forever and sometimes fail altogether. Edit: I've discovered if you disable the "optional" Performance SDKs it breaks the app like I described but if you disable the other two and leave that enabled it works
I waited 4 hours for my food. the app just kept saying it was "cooking" which is their version of "in progress". no way to contact a person, the phone just rings and rings. no way to cancel the order, they just make you call the number that rings and rings. no way to get a refund. so now I just lost money. should have used Skip or Uber Eats. UPDATE: arrived cold, except the drinks which had been sitting so long the ice was gone and it was warm.
was excited I could use the app for delivery then I never got my delivery and the support button took me to the store. The store had no support as they just handed off the order and no way to track it and I got no food. Took the lady several, close to ten minutes to resolve with a refund. just very bad experience.
what a garbage app this is i tell ya , I doesn't give me an option to leave a note for a restaurant plus I every time I put in my address for delivery it says it's not available even though I have tried a few different addresses it still says the same thing, that's really weird n annoying, also it doesn't give you an option to pay cash at the restaurant CC only 🙄
The worst app i ever used in my life. Always an issue and still brings you to the webpage which also always crashes or gives an error. Useless .... Hire an external company to fix it since obviously it's not working. Very stressful that there are online sales available but cant order online or on the app when its buggy. If i could give it negative stars i would....
terrible app. can't process payments. wasted my time setting up my profile and after finally getting my account setup I couldn't process my order - embarassing for a company like KFC not to have a working app. horrific. I drove to the store and they couldn't honour the promos on the app and told me to login to skip and order it from there and pick-up. it was also 30% more expensive to do it that way.
This app hasn't been able to open on my Pixel 5 since late 2024, it just says "something went wrong" and then closes. Update as of August 20th 2025, the app was working for the past few months (with some difficulty), but now it's no longer working, the latest update must have broken it. Virtually no navigation is possible (tapping on buttons does nothing), and you just can't place an order. KFC has lost so much business from us due to this app not working.
This App never works. I open it "something went wrong. try again later". Doesn't tell you what's wrong. Closed, uninstalled, reinstalled, still doesn't work. When it does work, the deals don't. My KFC was advertising that if you order in the app you get a free 6 piece chicken strips. Went through the process. No option for the deal. KFC is going downhill so fast, wouldn't be surprised if it's out of business in 10 years.
nothing works in this app. have to try multiple times to log in, never any offers show up, items won't add to cart and just load forever. they want to get you to use doordash/skip where they charge way more for the same items.
I really hope they didn't pay for this app to be made because it's absolutely trash. you have to wait. ridiculous sums of time to actually pick things when it offers you the ability to add something extra. it's almost like they're trying to give you a deal where you're playing an ad because it takes an extra 5 to 10 seconds for it to allow you to click through. after you get all through that it'll bless you by not letting you checkout without creating an account and saving your card
One of the worst food apps of all time! It's been having issues for years now. Currently, we keep getting the message "something went wrong" and the app closes. It's ridiculous, sort it out!!!!
useless app. No confirmation for the order. I had to call the store to see if the order went through, only to discover it had-twice. They were kind enough to cancel one of them. I will be deleting the app.
