This is the best one for eink devices! The included purple theme, paired with a monotone icon set (like monoic, amexia, banded) makes it all look perfectly black and white. And fast, even on a basic android e-ink e-reader. And obviously this works a treat on regular devices too. It's extremely well thought-out, with a plethora of options and customizations. AND NO ADS. That's so rare, especially with the amount of work that went into this. And you can backup the settings, thank goodness.
This app continues to amaze me. I sometimes accidentally delete my folders and then have to go and manually make the folders again, but with those app, i can make folders, and just add the folder that's already created. Just select add to home screen, and it's done in a second. Plus you can share the settings and folders with other devices. But I have 2 suggestions, the first is when you're adding apps to a folder, please add a search option. And the second is, please make a jina drawer for pc.
This was EXACTLY what I've been searching for all these years! I wanted simple, customizable folders so I can access my main and secondary apps really fast. The side bars are great. I've got games on the left and everything else on my right, leaving my home screen without all the clutter so I can see my cool wallpaper. It's a bit trial and error for some features but they're there. Really well done.
This app has made things a lot simpler. Because of how this app works I can easily find any app on my phone. As cellphones begin to replace laptops and desktops in general, apps like this one make it easier to manage your digital life. I have multiple phones with this app installed. On the phone I'm using I have over 500 apps installed, trust me when I say it has changed the way I view digital clutter as I call it. No longer have to have multiple apps sprawled across my home screen.
I just want to thank you soon much for your wonderful app! I'ma senior and I don't know much about computers, but I was shocked to discover half of my apps mysteriously disappeared from my app library. I lost my You Tube and Gmail apps in particular which I rely on and I had them on my home screen for easy access...gone! I tried all advice that I found on Google . I tried to reset it several times with no luck! Then I decided to go to Play Store , installed your app and got instant results!!;😁
I used this for about 5 years and it was a great additional tool for managing and accessing my apps. There are a ton of customization options. I used the favorites sidebar the most, probably five times a day at least. It was also great for simultaneously viewing all the icons I have for an app in all my icon packs. Ultimately, though this lost out to Samsung's One-Hand Operation +.
Great App!!! Two reasons, it works well and superior support. I had an issue, it appeared as an app glitch, but one frequently used folder had a settings that needed reset. Support team responded quickly and helped me understand what and 'how-to' reset the folder. Works perfectly again. For an organization App, the is the one I recommend!!!
There's an option to keep the icons of the uninstalled apps! Just like a normal folder on Windows with all the shortcuts of your programs, even if not installed. This is reaaaaaally handy to remember that specific app, already ordered in its folder category, but without the need to keep it installed on your phone and waste memory. Only cons: It's a drawer (or sidebar), not a launcher. But you can place widgets on the launcher that imitates an app or folder shortcut.
App is so great at times I forget it's a third party app and not my phone app. 😅. One thing I want to confirm is if there's a way to enable notification counter so I see how much notifications I have. For example, if I have notifications for WhatsApp, messenger, telegram. I should see '3' on or above the folder those apps belong to. Thank you. 🙌
This has got to be one of the best drawer apps I've ever seen! In fact, I think it's one of the best apps I've ever come across!!! Well done! I'm really impressed! 👍👍 . . .Please make more apps!!!
Question: How do I reset a folder? One of the folder lost the toolbar. I don't know how to put it back again. Past: I always has problem finding my apps cause I sometimes forgot the name, only function, so this is great for me. Thanks!
I used Circle Pro for years! This was my replacement solution. For those looking to control your folders, app drawer or screen real estate ... this is it!
shortcut isn't unavailable - not sure what caused this to happened but...I guess I needed permission to access something on my phone today 🤷♀️. otherwise, great app
This is a great app. No more frustration as I hunt for an app, they are all listed alphabetically and you can jump straight to the right part of the alphabet. Also the ability to rename apps means that you don't have to remember silly names like "my XXX", just change it to "XXX" and it is where you expect it to be in the list.
Overall I like the app though I mainly just use the folder widget. In regards to that: clicking on the folder widget very often opens the previously opened folder (via folder widget). I have to click it away to reclick the widget to open the folder I meant to open in the first place which is a little bit annoying and made me look for an alternative app, which I haven't yet found. Hope this bug gets resolved because for the rest I really like the work you've done on JINA.
Edit: Thank you, that has fixed the issue. I use Jina on a daily basis and am lost without it. Please fix, broken since the last update. Often the incorrect folders are opening when I press on the icons. Instead of the folder for the icon coming up, the last folder that was opened is popping up again. App was working fine before the update.
What I like with this app is I can create multiple subfolders. However, I encounter an issue when I open a folder then click home, and when I open other folder, it remembers the previously opened folder. Please fix. Thanks!
It's great, it really is, however it is KILLING me that folders aren't all set to the same size. It's close, but it's not correct. I want to shrink all folders to the size that the default Samsung folder sizes are, but it's never precise. Having to do each folder is a painstaking process. Maybe a "Set default zoom" button? Great customization btw, great app.
(Small Bug): Folder widgets on the home screen have a slightly too big margin between the icon and text. Because of that, the bottom half of the text is cropped. The names can't be read. -------------------------------------- As for my overall review. The drawer is pretty good, but it struggled to categorize about 100 of my 500 apps. To be honest that's more of a Me-Problem, than a drawer problem. I just have too many weird apps.
for some reason some apps stop.showing up in Jina folders. one day they are there next day I have to go through Android app lost, because it won't show up on the list. Jina doesn't think I have youtube, literally not in list on Jina. have to create direct widget from android app drawer... :( going downhill fast :(
