Features
The Apple TV mobile app offers a range of features designed to enhance the user experience. One of the key features is the ability to access a wide variety of streaming content, including movies, TV shows, and original programming. Users can also access their iTunes library and purchase or rent new content directly through the app. Additionally, the app allows for personalized recommendations based on viewing habits and preferences. Users can also create and share their own playlists, as well as access content from other Apple devices.
Another notable feature of the Apple TV mobile app is the ability to use it as a remote control for Apple TV devices. This includes the ability to navigate the interface, enter text using voice dictation, and control playback. The app also supports AirPlay, allowing users to stream content from their mobile device to an Apple TV or other AirPlay-enabled devices.
How to Use
Using the Apple TV mobile app is straightforward and intuitive. After downloading the app from the App Store, users can simply open it and sign in with their Apple ID. From there, they can browse and search for content, access their iTunes library, and make purchases or rentals. The app also provides personalized recommendations and allows for the creation and sharing of playlists. Additionally, users can use the app as a remote control for their Apple TV devices, as well as for streaming content to AirPlay-enabled devices.
Overall, the Apple TV mobile app provides a seamless and convenient way to access and enjoy a wide range of streaming content, as well as to control and interact with Apple TV devices.
Pros & Cons
One of the main advantages of the Apple TV mobile app is its seamless integration with other Apple devices and services. This allows for easy access to a wide range of content, as well as the ability to control Apple TV devices and stream content to other AirPlay-enabled devices. The app also provides personalized recommendations and the ability to create and share playlists.
However, some users may find the app's interface to be somewhat cluttered and difficult to navigate. Additionally, some features, such as voice dictation and AirPlay, may not be available on all devices. Overall, while the Apple TV mobile app offers a range of useful features, it may not be the best option for all users, particularly those who do not have other Apple devices or services.

Works perfectly on my Sony TV, have watched through several shows with no issues.
One has to view this movie from the perspective of the time in which it was made in terms of special effects and production. With that being said, it’s one of my favorites from the late 70s. Or is it the early 80s? It was released in December 1979. So we’re at the end of one decade and the start of another. All in all it’s a fun movie. I was a young kid when this came out and certain elements scared me like the abandoned crew quarters with personal property left behind along with the robotic crew that turns out aren’t so robotic after all. This is one of those films that you can’t overthink about. Just enjoy it. This is from that era when everybody in film and television we’re getting into the sci-fi genre after the success of Star Wars i.e. Battle Star Galactica, the Flash Gordon remake although the original was an inspiration for Star Wars, Battle Beyond the Stars, the Buck Rogers remake. Again, another inspiration for Star Wars. The start of the Star Trek movie franchise. Ignore the science and don’t overthink it as stated above. Just imagine that you’re a ten year old in 1979 who’s seeing this movie for the first time.
It’s a great app to just sit back and relax and watch and old movie from the past. Cause the one I just watched was Brother Bear and once in a while it catches my tears that it’s still such a great movie about brotherhood and the best line is when Dehani tells Kenai no matter what he chooses your always going to be my little brother. And that line is the best one yet. But yeah mainly it’s a great escape to find that movie and tv show comfort and closure about these moments and helps me realize. That when watching those old movies from growing up always gives us such a huge impact on our adult lives and I have many but one of them was what I just discussed briefly. And so yeah keep up the great work, the amazing art work, and making those movies a reality and maybe someday in this future of ours we’re going into could make a movie about Apple TV and how it got all of our favorite ones streaming including how it all started before it became an app. So yeah Thank You and Have Mercy. And keep being you.
The Apple TV app is phenomenal. I love how all of my apps are connected, with the exception of Netflix, and serves as a universal hub for all of my shows. I love iOS and the UI it offers the customer so I am very happy this Apple continues to invest in this app. Also, the Apple TV shows are excellent, and the new Apple TV+ section makes it easier to find all the latest shows and films. My only concern/hope for the future would be to access the content directly from the Apple TV app without being redirected to the native app. For example, being able to open a Disney+ show without having to be redirected to the Disney+ app itself. Otherwise, I love this app and I hope it continues to grow. I hope to see a lot more shows, movies, and maybe even sports (the English Premier League would be a dream come true). Regardless, I have much hope for the future of this app and I am excited to see just how far Apple will go with it.

The design falls in line with everything else Apple, the navigation too, making it a seamless and easy experience for the user. The groundbreaking concept of having it all under one roof and being able to just continue watching from where you left off without having to go to different apps, or having one wish list (up next) versus several is definitely mesmerizing, if it only worked perfectly all the time. If the user watches their shows in multiple different platforms (such as Google TV or Prime Video) or in certain specific apps (HBO ;Max, for instance), their views won’t compute in the Apple TV app, which makes the entire experience a bucket of frustration as the app will send you to the last episode viewed from that app, and not to the episode you last actually watched on Prime, or HBO, for instance. Add that to the fact they are not synching up content from Netflix, and things get really annoying! Still, I give this 4 stars as it made the tv viewing experience that much better!
I love the shows on Apple TV+. However, I seem to have the most issues with the Apple TV app of all the streaming/entertainment apps I use. For something made by Apple, this confuses me. It’s little annoyances like how you can’t just view all the episodes of a show easily, you have to search for it and then make sure you don’t choose the option to resume the current episode. Also, there really should just be a toggle for Apple TV+ shows instead of having to navigate the one page. Or, make a search bar appear at the top of the page like in Music, Settings, etc. I also seem to have a lot of issues with the desktop app on my M1 MacBook Air. The app refuses to load the shows for some reason, it loves to freeze in the middle of an episode or movie, and the app will become unresponsive regularly or even crash upon opening. I can’t be the only one having these issues. TL;DR: Apple TV+ shows are fantastic, but I hope Apple will work to make the navigation of their apps more consistent and put the same level of detail/love into each one in the coming OS.
Like most Apple software, it's buggy and annoyingly tedious to use. Half the time airplay doesn't work. Even simple functionality, like remembering where you left off in a show.. doesn't work. It seems that arrogance has it's consequences.
App was working well and supporting all AndroidTV functions until recently. Now the “Play Next” function has stopped working, so I can’t launch next episodes of in progress show quickly. Please fix it, app is great otherwise!
Google seems to limit compatibility, refusing to search it's content with voice, and limiting internet connection when all other apps connect fine
I’ve tried your service off and on and I’m currently on a 3-month trial because I purchased a new device. I am canceling before the trial was up because there isn’t enough to watch. The original content is well made, but you also need to include a library of films or TV series from other sources to keep subscribers engaged. I enjoyed Silver Linings Playbook and the other movies that you recently added. I stream on a Roku device and that works well, but after I watch a show it drops off my list and if I want to watch it again I need to search for it. Also, I subscribe to HBO Max and NBC Peacock but use the Roku apps, and those services can’t be integrated because you’re in competition with each other and have your own apps through Apple TV channels. I might stick around for your programming if my subscriptions would work on your platform too. Every once in a while I will rent a movie from your App Store to watch on my Roku, but that’s about the extent of my use. You must have an unlimited budget and your service could really be something special, but you lag very far behind the other services in terms of programming and a usable platform. $6.99 a month is actually pretty pricey considering what you offer. People need to stop believing the hype and realize that everything Apple does isn’t great simply because their logo is attached to it.
Extremely buggy app, exits by itself for no reason several times. Really hope they find a solution for this app regarding the A80J
