A great distributor. Only downside to using this is that whenever there is an error in a release that needs fixing, you'd have to take the entire release down and start over. Would be nice if the release was just kept as a draft so it can be a lot easier to release. It would be even better if we can have drafts, so if I close the app while putting songs together for a release it would automatically save.
Best distributor. It's fast and simple. The best think they offer yt content id for free So your songs are available in social media sound libraries. YouTube's content ID isn't as strict as with other distributors. If you make Brazilian funk/dance electronic and have vocals from Splice or Packs, they'll accept it. A very good distributor. It would be great if new stores like Capcut, Pinterest, etc. were available soon.
The app works well, but it has some flaws. When setting up an album for release, you can't name a song the same thing as the album. I also find it frustrating that when you pick a genre for the album, you have to pick one genre for the entire album. This is problematic because not all songs are the same genre in the album. But other than these two things and other stuff, the app works well and is good for independent artists who need a way to release their music with out a record label.
I really wanted to like this app. You have to subscribe to a paid service to upload more than one song to your profile at the same time. Approval process takes about a month. but it looks like it would do a lot to help local artists. I would pay a doller per track, I think that's fair, maybe even 2 or 3 dollars per track. But I don't find the subscription model a good deal and most of the benefits of this are behind the paywall. Update from 2 to 4 stars once learned more than 1 song is allowed
I love it. I'm not complaining about there being a pro version, I'm gonna pay for it once I'm able to. Amazing app. Edit: going from 4 stars to 3 stars. sucks that the free feature was removed but it's fine, I can afford to pay. However, music should be up forever regardless of whether or not you stop paying for the pro membership. That was a HUGE part of what made amuse good. Please change it.
Please fix!!! Can't access my account on the website. It keeps saying login failed even though Im using the correct password and username. Also can't access the wallet, it keeps telling me to verify my phone number. I followed the instructions as it started, into the settings under edit and verify and save. But every time I do and return it says my phone number hasn't been verified. I tried 5 times and nothing was sent to my phone nor my email. This is incredibly frustrating
This started out great. But slowly they've become more and more monetized over time. I thought I got a nice payment after a year but a good chunk was taken out from fees because of the financial platform they chose. Really disappointed. I also have no idea how I would ever get paid if this company went under. I have tracks on Amazon etc. But that said, I still use it because I haven't found something else...
If its gonna make me delete EVERYTHING if there's any mistakes in info, the least they could do is give me a checklist of things wrong with my release so I can fix it all and everything will go smoother. But it's a free app and I suppose you get what you don't pay for. If you want your music released quickly, just use Bandcamp. But honestly, switching from notifications on individual problems to a checklist with all of the problems is the difference between one month and three.
Amuse is great I think!?,...but..… whenever I try to link it to my Spotify account it says something went wrong and to my thinking I thought it was just network so I wait probably 3 hours or so and went back to the app but still, it was the same so I don't know if my phone's got a problem or your application's got a bug, though I never had any thoughts of uninstalling the app and hopping this new update would do the trick and supposingly do wat I want it to do but still you doing such good work.
Two stars just cause the app integration is nice. Zero customer service. Simple issue that could have been resolved by talking to an actual person. About 6 emails and 5 days later, nothing but automated responses. Luckily the competition has treated me soooo much better. Stay away from this trendy company that tries to lure you in with the bells and whistles of a well integrated app, while completely failing on the backend stuff that actually matters.
they used to be the best free distributor out there , quick and easy , but over time they started locking things behind paywalls , and now there isnt even a free option anymore . really disappointing as a small artist trying to just get my music out there :/
Definitely doesn't deliver as promises. It doesn't have many features, but one thing it says you can do is release an album for free onto a limited number of platforms, and the other catch is you have to wait a month. It seemed like a bit long, but I thought, hey, for a free service, I should be patient. And I was. Now it SAYS that the album was released on the promised date, but it was not, and in the app it still says "review pending" sevetal months later. I am deleting the app after this.
Used to love this app, been using it for years since the beginning of my music journey. I'm extremely disappointed with the change. Can't distribute for free anymore, what's the point? Even paying for thier subscription is pointless since it takes so much time to confirm it anyways. I used to suggest amuse over any other distributor, now I despise it. They got greedy and I hope they learn thier lesson.
Terrible. Things were going fine until the button that allows me to release music suddenly disappeared and won't come back no matter what I do. What's worse, I tried logging in on my computer and it straight up won't let me log in. I changed my password multiple times and so I know my information is right but it still registers as a wrong password. I couldn't even use this service before it screwed me over.
like seriously u don't deserve a star, I've released above 50 songs on your platforms and yet none of it is licensed for commercial purposes on tiktok which really slow down my music plans & movement on the platforms and in fact you makes me feel you're incompetent for distributing my songs. More so, since joining you it's so hard believe that my royalty over above 50 songs is not more than $6.5 upon thousands of people that have used my songs on all platforms? @styliman
