update: game has gotten much better. plenty of events and ways to make coins. went from 2 stars to 5. Played for about a year. These past several months have been disappointing. They used to offer events to gain coins but those appear to be gone. You can't complete paid season passes without paying even more for packs. I find myself losing interest in the game, especially when I see Topps shutting down other games.

The app is fun and brings all of that nostalgic act of opening packs and wondering what you get. I like the system of taking dups and building them up to the next card. Overall it's fun. My only gripe is they could have done more with the cards. This is a mobile app, not a real bb card collection. Why not have cards with looping video, or dimensional stuff that you can rotate. The back of the cards could be more. Maybe more info or facts about the players or events (like the flashback series).

Fun game for sure. Definitely can be a bit laggy, especially when trying to trade. The crafting could use a little buff. Add more player specific cards you can upgrade weekly instead of just one. Also Would be nice to have a way to earn more coins instead of adds or buying them, like maybe some kind of mini game. Fun game though all in all. Always a struggle deciding which pack to open.

Had some password issues after switching devices, due to some duplicate account error that they had to fix in their end. But after a few days of ticket emails they were able to fix it. Not much to complain about outside of that, though I do have a lot of trouble with the trade system.. even when using what should be the right filters, I'm not understanding how to find certain cards.

Great game, but I think the only thing that should be a thing (that isn't) Is a better way to get more coins. Like maybe at the end of opening packs you get 1-2K coins at the end, because just the wheel and the free coins aren't enough. And no, I'm not downloading other apps and play them to get coins. It takes a long time, and isn't that worth it, also the watching the ad part, yeah no. 500 coins for a 30 second ad? Not worth your time. Overall great game though.

I have had this for years. I love the cards and graphics. BUT, this new update in November 2024 is not user-friendly. It takes more clicks to do anything. Nothing is grouped (coins, mystery packs & wheel spins, and missions are on separate pages), and the colors are muted and boring. I have missed out on coins because I didn't know where they were. I don't need my recent cards taking up so much screen real estate on the main page. This update was a few steps backward in terms of usability.

I have been playing the game for many years and all the cards are either sold out or require additional cost. Most collectors want extra cards for any trades which is not right but what can you do? Also the odds stated like 1:3 are non existence. I wish there was a way that the Topps company could send you these cards since you pay to get them in the packs. I think I am going to stick with the old way of collecting it's much easier and far less hassle.

Customer service response time is terrible. If you purchase something and you don't get it. 1-3 days I the time frame given that they will get back to you. I made a purchase for a fresh releasd series of cards. And now I'm still stuck waiting for them to give me what I paid for. I sent them the screenshot of what they needed and they must of looked right passed it or be a bot because they sent me a screenshot of that they need a little while later after I had sent it. Either way it's ridiculous

App itself I like. Does get slow and sometimes crashes, but my big problem is in the transactions/customer care. I've been charged without getting what I paid for several times. And when that happens, there is one rep that forces me to dig extra deep to prove that I bought it (after already sending a screenshot of the transaction through Google Play). I'm not liar or a thief, yet getting those vibes from that one person as I jump through extra hoops. And God, the support of the whale users.

I used to spend more time with thus collecting and trading, but it's officially become impossible to keep up with collections or get cool cards unless you're paying at least $20 a month, but usually it takes more than that. They used to have more events where you can collect coins by putting in time to complete the steps, but they've all but eliminated those too. So it's a disappointing direction for what was a fun app.

App has started crashing more and more over the last 2 updates. Nothing but application errors ever time you try to click. Almost unplayable. Contests have been ruined by bad choices and not listening to the users. Odds are still ridiculous if you're just using in game coin. Lots of directions it can go. Hopefully it starts heading in the right one sooner rather than later.

Updated 03/21. Been away for a while and just rejoined. This app now is so great! There are plenty of things to do at any time, and there are many ways to keep working in your virtual collection which takes up no physical space. Trading is fun and rewarding. Lots more coins available than before! // November release on Android DOESN'T WORK. I open packs and can't slide past the first one or 2 cards to see what I have. Feels like a server integration issue. I play every day, so PLEASE FIX THIS.

Topps, what happened to the premium content? You still are charging the same prices, but the cards that used to be limited to 50 copies or less now have card counts in the hundreds and even thousands. Cards that used to be truly "rare" and hard to acquire are now pedestrian. Shame on you for selling out the fans that really spent money on this app. No mas!

Spent 200k coins on packs that cost 5000 with the lowest odds being 1:10 and only got 2 rares!! Absolutely ridiculous!! It is most definitely rigged. And I would never recommend this app. You need fix the whole app and make it a lot easier to get coins. It is almost impossible finish sets or even get the cards you want without spending tons of real money for cards that you will not have access to anymore if all the sudden they decided to shut down the app. I do not recommend!!!

Stay away. While the "game" might be cheaper than buying real baseball cards, if you really want to collect anything "meaningful," you're going to have to spend money. And LOTS of it. Only worthwhile $$ sink is the premium season pass to get diamonds every 10 levels. Pack odds are waaaaay off. 1:300 for an iconic is actually about 1:1,200. All 1-of-1's are usually sold out to whales within five minutes of a set dropping, so you'll never get anything cool. Stay away.

I love collecting cards, both physical and digital. This app makes that POSSIBLE. BUT!!!!!!!!! Beware it crashes every 5 min. If you make a purchase it crashes. If you try to trade it crashes. Part of opening packs is the excitement of seeing the cards 1 by 1. If every purchase I make I have to get ahold of support and wait days at a time this app is trash. Then they send a bs automated message about your wifi. 🤣

Crafting is broken at some point after the last update. It worked yesterday, but now when I go to craft it just spins and never loads, meaning I can't complete events any longer. With how much of a cash cow this is you'd expect they'd spend more time making it work, very buggy all around but this makes me not want to even open it since I can't complete events any longer.

Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to try this app. After acquiring a few packs, I got a super rare autograph and some other cool cards. I went to try and trade some cards to collect some of my favorite players. You have to pay real money to trade. I have no money. After reading all of the recent reviews about the app not functioning right and the fake odds of getting what is advertised, I'm wasting my time. Uninstalled. Will continue to purchase "real" cards at my local card shop.

Update: If you happen to make in app purchases, be ready for a fun ride with the support team. They request screen captures of the emailed receipt, requiring that you share unnecessary personal information with them. I'm still on my 7th attempt at getting the product I paid for, unsuccessfully.. with a receipt. Starts off strong, but the app is clearly aimed at getting you to pay for decent cards. I used the ad for coins option 14 times.. 11 of the 14 it did not provide the coins after the ad.

Unless you're interested in spending real cash on digital cards, go elsewhere. The other snag is Topps appears to be banning accounts without warning, or proof, of any wrongdoing. So, these accounts are losing access to the cards they spent their money on. There are a lot of predatory practices taking place in the physical card world by Topps and it appears they are doing the same thing on the digital side. Take your money elsewhere to someone who will treat it respectfully because Topps won't.
