I started this game from an ad and decided to download and wouldn't you know it, I was hooked. They've come up with some really good features like, tournaments, tower defense, bingo and tons of other minigames. Guys keep up the great work with the game and can't wait to see what the future holds instore for it. I just started another account, let's see how it turns out.
I rarely play phone games. And when I do, I typically delete them within the first month. This game has singlehandedly given me something to do, and it feels so rewarding. They're super generous with free rubies and speed ups as long as you're active. And I've been able to connect with friends and make new friends. I've been playing this game for about 4 months now. There's always events and it's never boring :)
Honestly, though it does have some in-game purchases, I've definitely dealt with games that are much worse in that aspect. I have put no actual money into it and I have still been able to play the game. So just completely keeping that out there, entertaining, simple to pick up once you understand what's going on, and it has a campaign which is easy enough. Lots to do, interesting back stories of characters if you are into that kind of thing.
I've been playing Walking Dead: Survivors and it's a surprisingly solid mix of base-building, strategy, and survival. The constant threat of walkers keeps things tense, and the addition of familiar characters from the series adds some fun nostalgia. The alliances and PvP can get intense, but that’s part of the thrill. It can be a little grindy at times, but if you like post-apocaly
I played this game for ~5-10 minutes. Basically it seems like a pretty good game so far. The graphics were fairly low-level (although, a bit weird for a big file size (1.8GB)). They were like 2.5D look-down graphics. The characters will lock on to stuff then auto-do-stuff, which is nice, but I kind of wanted to do that myself (there may be an option to turn it off). Other than that you do have to move them if they're not near anything. Overall, it seemed pretty solid.
Yes there is a formula. Yes they all look the same. I’ve played several. This one I actually feel invested in, though, because it’s a show I’m vaguely familiar with. It has the cleanest UI and the female characters aren’t scantily clad help me senpai uwu with the dudes being Buff Guys™️ saving damsels in distress. If I’m gonna stick with any, it’ll probably be this one. Maybe there will be cool mini games like some others. My suggestions to the developers are to play their competitors’ games and consider adding mini games similar to what they do, like actually taking a small group of survivors on a mission and doing almost like a mini tower defense but at a location you’re trying to explore for resources, instead of just sending a character away and poof resources. There should be an option to do it automatically like the way it is now, and then for some extra XP or something do it more involved. I like the formations and how matching certain characters makes the formation overall more powerful. I wish I could create my own character and edit looks as well as buffs, like a real RPG, instead of being this benevolent boss and thats who I am. Make me a character, make my decisions matter in terms of how we interact with other groups, etc. Thank you
This is a pay to play game. Not a bad game, but you need to buy in order to keep up. That’s not so bad, but when you buy, then dont get what you bought, but get an error message instead, that tells you to contact support, then wait for hours before getting a response, which in the meantime you use other resources, which you paid for in the long run anyway, and then get what you did pay for, because it was obviously paid for, then the rep asks if you think you should be compensated, and you thank them and tell them you’d appreciate that, and they come back and tell you, “nope, that’s a network issue, no compensation” That, after buying things for several days running. You would think they would want to keep paying customers happy, but apparently they make more then they need. I didn’t mind spending a little bit, but since I see their greed, probably spent my last in it. Plenty of other games P.S. After telling the rep that I would go do a review, I was filling out the review as to the performance of the customer service, and in the middle of filling it out, the game, for the first time ever, suddenly shuts down and the review can’t be brought back up. Dear Survivor, really sorry for your experience and for your consults we recommend you to contact us via the in-game CS feature. We request a screenshot of your interface to check and fix the issue, hope you understand. Thanks in advance. :)
The grind is for real for real. I'm playing this game completely vanilla. This means I'm playing this game without spending real money! The wait times for buildings to upgrade is ridiculous! There's also a bug. Whenever you use Rosita in settlement siege, her machine gun's sound effect continues to play. The only way to get it to stop is to close the game and reopen it. As far as gameplay itself, there's really none! You just click buttons and and wait for the results. Nothing that takes skill!
It seems to be much less complicated and much easier to learn than other war games, but is it supposed to be this hard to get clay? Over and over I kill walkers and nothing. I can't upgrade the important buildings without it. Also, your prices are terrible compared to others, and the stamina system is so bad with no way to easily earn bread but buy it?? I'm liking the game, but these few things are making it harder to enjoy.
what can I say, it's a mobile game with the usual mobile game tactics. bombard you early game with content and rewards to get you hooked then make everything slow to a crawl once that stream of rewards dries up. but you expect that nowadays, so it's only one star down the reason for the other one is that changing regions is VERY difficult - you've got 10 to choose from adjacent to yours, so if you have a friend who started a month or two earlier, you'd need to jump like 20 times - once monthly
The game is fun in its own special way. Yes it is a pay to play game and I have noticed not everyone pays the same rates. The US pays more than Korea which allows Koreans and Chinese to increase their power faster making the game difficult to compete with. I think the prices need to be lowered and more rationally thought through when putting these higher priced bundle packages out. Remember developers, everyone doesn’t make money like others. Make the prices more fair and realistic. We all understand that people make money off of games. However, be understanding and realistic with some of these prices. Don’t force people to pay to play but allow them to still be able to power themselves up without using money. Because even though I pay to play I still agree that these prices need to be fair and the gameplay needs to more understanding to the everyday players financial standings. Fix that and you will earn more and get my 5 star review. Dear Survivor, the packages in game are all the same price to each player and extra tax part is decided to the player's country exchange rate also decided by Google entertainment which not decided or charged by game side. Hope your understanding and supporting!
I have to give it low.. I have been playing this many months, bought some items but I can say this game is not fun. It has many ads forcing you to buy gem etc.. even if u start the game it will appear first. i got annoying with this everytime i run the game. and the item is getting more expensive if u play it more. imagine they put this ads on the map mission too. ads are too aggressive and make the game not enjoyable because they let us feel like we have to purchase something.
The game is good, but after the recent update, ¹I tried with no success to contact a person from the game to address my problem. I opened another account. ²The issue is with the prison. After opening the prison, you have the option of the store. When opened, there are no prizes to choose from, but the tiers are still there. ³You exit, and a frame is on the battlefield. It doesn't go away unless you exit out. ⁴I remedied by not entering the prison. Idk if the other stores are affected. -3 of 5.
To much clicking for the progress you get. The entire game is set up to make you pay and even if you pay you don't get much in return. I am on vacation and i have had plenty of time to play for the last 3 months. I am at level 12. Building upgrades take to long and it's not really much to do to be excited about. The zombie attacks are kinda interesting and at least you can do that. However it takes to long to upgrade your army & build up troops. I don't think this game is worth the time.
Disappointed! The recent update to the game is bugged to where some people can only play while connected to WiFi. If you don't have WiFi access you cannot play. I have been reporting this issue for 4 days and no fix as of yet. I have been unable to do anything whatsoever in the game. I had a WiFi connection for a very short time yesterday, and was at least able to inform my clan of the issue. Hopefully I will still be in that clan when this issue does finally get resolved.
This game is pay-to-win, and there's no real skill behind anything. Just constant bombardment of purchases the game makes you think is a really good idea. It's made to make you feel good all the time with constant and rapid reward giving. If you join a clan, many of the leaders in them will try to get you to make said purchases as well as get you to spend your days constantly checking the game to keep on upgrading everything.
I’ve played for about 6 months and paid about $200 into the game. Read the negative reviews and don’t get sucked into this game. It has a lot going for it. It’s fun to meet people from around the world and create cooperative groups to move forward. However, the negatives outweigh the positives. It is absolutely pay to win. Realize there are some people out there who will waste tens of thousands of dollars on this game to bully everyone around. When a few of these people join together, the game is over for everyone else. One of these top spenders can take out an entire clan of a hundred people. After this, you either live under a shield with limited activity, or you sit on the season 1 map and farm vegetables, which is absolutely boring. In the last season they allowed several clans in a server to join into mega-clans. Inevitably, one of these servers will create a mega clan that is stronger than all of the servers on the map put together. At this point there is zero competition because no one else stands a chance. The game is essentially over unless you want to spend thousands of dollars. Simply put, this is a game for people with no skills and a lot of money to waste so they can bully others around. Don’t do it, there are lots of good games out there. Sorry for your experience and we understanding your experience. We are trying to find a balance in the game and meantime there are many events in the game that free to all the player. It is recommended that players try to obtain resources from these events (participate in PVE activities more), and use shield to protect your city if necessary.
This game is a total money grab. Doing the math of purchasing what is needed to compete, there are people who have spent $10,000 US. Customer service is of no help in resolving in-game issues. Even when it is a problem with the game itself. Their way of handling it. Is spend more money and you will do better. The servers were merged in such a way that to compete, you must spend money, or it is 30 days and more of waiting for in-game buildings to level. Literally, years to level up to compete.
A well done pay-to-progress time-waster. A sad excuse for a game, though. There are aspects of a game buried in the repetitive upgrade tasks, but that's clearly not the focus here. The focus is on getting you to spend insane amounts of money on perks that make it easier to level up. Which in turn allows you to do the same things over and over, but now with higher numbers attached to them. Why waste hours if you can just waste money, right? I pity the generation growing up with crud like this.
The game use to be a good fun game to play. With each upgrade the devs have made it almost unplayable. It freezes up and chat doesn't work half the time, an essential part of the game. It's also too expensive. The devs keep adding more and more things to make money on which is rendering the game useless if you're on a cell phone. I've spent over 10k in a game that has so many problems. I feel cheated.
Survivor, All you time, energy and especially money will be stolen by other players (which is completely fine with developers) then to allow you to get away from the players stealing everything, they charge you for it! Huge waste of time, energy and money. Find another game that at least attempts to help its players have an enjoyable game. Also, game is NOTHING like the ads.
After a short time, I discovered that this game is a scam. The strategy is down to one formation, which is unbeatable, and even their support told me this. In game support told me, the strategy is not in winning or combat, but making new friends (this is just a social app). The game is filled with gaming type concepts as well. Many gimmicks that are not far off some of the Vegas style games that you will play on the floor.
This is a game about spending money, the entire thing is designed to get you to make your first purchase, they use games that are impossible to push you to spend a little more, and this leads to more spending. Outside of the patently addictive nature of the game geared around spending to "win", the game play itself is meh, the story line does not go anywhere, the mechanics are all grind, to help you buy that first speed up, overall I wouldn't waste you time.
Was booted out of a clan for no reason and can’t join another for 12 hours. This game is expensive and I’m a diligent player actively playing constantly. This game is trash and is not fun anymore. Do yourself a favor and skip this game. Don’t skip it because I’m mad but because I’m a honest reviewer. These almost 5 star reviews are fake. This game is superrrrr expensive and they make it so you have to pay to play and it’s a bit wild for the cost just to do simple things. Upgrading players and builders doesn’t help it just makes it harder and when you upgrade and think your getting stronger they add several hours or days in between to be able to play unless you “buy” things needed to speed up the time or certain goods and it’s usually both. Once you spent an absurd amount of money then you can upgrade or complete but then you gotta spend more to do it all over again. Ten dollars for resources that sometimes don’t even help just to increase somthing so minimal is crazy. 99$ gets you jack crap to or like if you want a player you gotta spend 20$ from the elite shop lol but it can only reach level thirty and then you gotta buy “fragments” and you need a ton of them to upgrade so in reality it’s like several hundred. It’s a greedy and sneaky way to profit and I can’t lie they are doing it and can’t be mad at the hustle but as a consumer that’s not good business. Won’t be lasting long either. Dear Survivor, First we are really sorry for your issue and according to your item lost problem, we recommend you to contact us via the in-game CS feature. We request a screenshot of your interface to check and help you solve it with our best, hope you understand. Thanks in advance. :)
Please read my warning about this game. I'm a currently in season 2 and have been playing for 4 months. I'm probably in 20th place out of 500. Even though I'm not weak to most in the game, I get destroyed by the rich who spend well over $50'000+. The best survivor in the game is Ezekiel and that costs 13k just for the 1 survivor. I personally have spent over $1000 to try and keep up. Free to play players are just farms. The game is constantly bugged and they do very little to fix the bugs. RUN!
