Engaging, beautiful, Masters at balance. I've played other puzzle games and Fireproof games are my favorite. they have struck a perfect balance at difficulty, hints, artistry, and some plot. there was some really amazing dynamics in this may one that i absolutely had to use more hints on, but it wasn't frustrating like with a competitor who makes it so impossible, i have downright given up because the solutions are obscure. I feel challenged in these, but know that I will eventually solve it.

Oh my goodness, what an interesting game! The 3D exploration style, intricate puzzles, engaging storyline, and mindbending world all combine beautifully to make a truly unique experience. Similar in style to the House of Da Vinci games, but very different in theme. Before playing, it looked like a horror game, but it's really not, it just has a very dark theme. No real replayability, but quite a good length to the story nonetheless. Well worth the price of admission!

The game was difficult as it should be and got harder towards the end, as it should do. But the clues were wonderful. Sometimes the rooms were frustrating because in order to finish one room, you had to visit accessories other rooms and solve those puzzles in order to solve previous puzzles and many times you had to solve several other puzzles before you can finally solve the puzzle that was driving you MAAADD!!! My only criticism is that the hunt was, in the long run, not long enough!

LOVED IT!!!!!!! took longer to complete than I would have thought which was a pleasant surprise! Graphics and art were great. Puzzles were challenging but logical and I didn't ever get the feeling of "how would I have figured that out?!". I think I only used one or two hints and one was a mechanism for solving that hadn't been used before so I didn't know it was an option. Overall highly reccomenf if you like puzzle games!!

'The Room' is the most brilliant series of puzzle games ever created. Captivating story lines, stunning graphics, and mesmerizing special effects...the entire series just blew my mind. And 'Old Sins' is the crowning jewel of the series. I am just in awe at the creative genius behind this game. I can't recommend it enough.

The Room is a really intricate puzzle game. I enjoyed playing it and wish it were a bit longer, but at least there are more Room puzzle games. I finished the game in about a week, a little over 9 hours of gameplay. The graphics are amazing, and the puzzles are just intricate enough to really make your brain work. Great game! This was my first time playing any of the series but I'll certainly be playing more of them.

This is a second The Room I've finished, and they're excellent - I already bought the other 2 before I even completed it. Solid story, gameplay, graphics, and controls. Puzzle difficulty ranges from too easy to a few head scratchers. Instantly one of my favorites, the whole lot of them. Hope they continue this and make many more!

If I could give this game 500 stars I would. I have played every single one from the first with just the puzzle boxes alone to such a carefully created fully realized game. I am constantly amazed by the intricacy and minute detail and love put into every aspect. I am genuinely sad there's no next installment for me to jump into, but I'll keep looking out for it 💖 This series is absolutely the triple platinum standard of puzzle games, and I've told friends and fam the same.

As a huge fan of Myst and Riven many years ago, I love this game. I've been playing for hours and still have lots to do. The puzzles and gameplay are just challenging enough, the clue system is perfect, pointing you in the right direction without giving too much away. I want many more games from this developer please. My ONLY complaint is that everything is just a bit too dark. I have to put my screen on the brightest setting and still struggle to see details. It's a shame...

I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Closest modern game to my all time favorite game, 'The 7th Guest'. Story was riveting, graphics were exceptional, game play was enjoyable, although finding the "sweet spot" for moving pieces was sometimes elusive. Fun someone who never finishes a game, finishing this one left me wanting more.

Different yet great! I wanted a different kind of escape room game and this didnt disappoint. it was a bit hard to get the hang of but once i did it was so fun and immersive!! the graphics really pulled me into the game, the clue levels are great and easy to get not like other games where you need a clue for the clue. overall a fantastic experience i havent had in a mobile game in a long time. i hope there's a pt 2 or other games from this developer.

incredible animation incredible storytelling. Challenging but the interaction was seamless. One small note: a couple of the puzzles are near impossible to complete playing on a Samsung Z Fold because of the aspect ratio. The camera gets a little too close to see the whole puzzle interaction which leads to frustration in not knowing what to do next. it's solved by playing in a normal aspect ratio. 10/10.

Well, I wouldn't say this is quite as good as The Room 3, and like the first game, I beat it in one day. But besides that? Delivered on atmosphere and puzzles just like the first trilogy, and with interesting twists on the storyline and game structure to boot. Fans of the series, or even just dollhouses, will definitely be satisfied with Old Sins.

This has to be the BEST puzzle game I've ever played, and in the last 10 years or so, I have played 1000+ puzzle games, and this one my friends is by far the best! I had a hard time putting it down so I could get work done 🤭 If you love interactive puzzle games, this is definitely it!! I need more!!!! They did a fan'TAB'ulous job on the graphics, storyline, puzzles, everything was spot on! I don't have not one negative thing to say. It was absolutely perfect 👌 👍

For me, these puzzles were JUST the right of difficulty. I used the hint button 2 or 3 times and I always felt dumb for having missed something so simple, but really enjoyed it all! The story, atmosphere and variety of rooms were a lot of fun. If I had any complaint, it would be a couple of the rooms felt almost empty while some seemed cluttered with puzzles. Def give this one a shot if you're a fan of these puzzle types!

It's definitely worth the price, I'm playing on a play pass subscription, but I can tell whoever is currently reading the reviews deciding if they want to buy the game. To waste no more time and just go for it, it has a very immersive atmosphere, beautiful graphics for the price, and the puzzles are challenging but fair. I'm about 3 hours into the game and I'm yet to run into a puzzle with ridiculous logic, I've only had to use hints due to my own haste which led to me overlooking things.

I slept on The Room games for a long time. A mobile game can't be that good, gotta be hype. Then my 7 year old was getting into puzzles, so I thought we'd try Old Sins out together. It's by far the best game I've played on Android, and honestly probably ranks with the best games period. The game design is brilliant, right down to pacing and immersion. After a series of hard stuff it gives you some easier (still tough though) ones to let you rest. And the graphics are shockingly good for mobile.

Finished the game in a little over 7 hours. Hard to rate which one of the 4 Room games is the best. They're all different and unique yet with the same theme and mechanics. The story continues from one to the other, and this one leads me to believe there's room for another. Hope I'm correct. Stunning graphics, smooth and exciting animations. Music & sounds are amazing. Lag at times on my tablet. Maybe not enough RAM. Also had to clear cache to get it to load. Try that if you have an issue. Peace!

Love it! The puzzles are wonderful, the story is thrilling, and it's definitely worth the price. That said, while I feel like the individual puzzles have improved compared to the previous games, in terms of difficulty and design, it seems that this game has less of them than the Room 2 or 3. The pacing could also be better—each level felt shorter and shorter. I'd love it if, in future games, each level had roughly the same number of puzzles (or perhaps they increase per level?).

Wonderful set of games!!! Beautifully shocking and very engaging. My only difficulty, a big one throughout all 4 games, was playing it on my phone. The 3D graphics and ability to see 360 degrees was awesome, but frustrating when trying to rotate a smaller item or flick a switch. The 360 was very touch sensitive in all 4 games! Loved every one!!!

As always The Room stands as a staple of this genre. While the gameplay is par for the course, the puzzles are clever and the set dressing is gorgeous (as we have come to expect from this series). The backtracking does get tedious at times due the animating of every transition which does get quite irritating as the game goes on and with no voice acting, not a requirement but a very nice touch, does take away from the intensity of some scenes. But nit picks aside I do highly recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game, but not quite as much as I was expecting. The puzzles are pretty easy, and something about the gameplay reminds me too much of the first game in the series. That said, navigating the overworld is much easier than in The Room Three, some puzzles are really satisfying (the dragons come to mind), and the interactions between different rooms is fun. In the end, it's a Room game, and that's a good thing. It's not my favorite entry in the series, but I enjoyed it.

Like the other The Room games, this one was a blast. A further progression of the game's mechanics and storytelling. The puzzles, however, are a different story. The puzzles seemed less... logical than in the other games. The struggle came not from solving the puzzle, as it should, but from figuring out what the rules were. How it is meant to be solved. Despite the gameplay frustration, the end sequence was quite enjoyable.
