Great app. I'm able to send to my friends in different countries, and it only takes a few minutes to get to them. No malicious or hidden fees. Edit: Sending via pix was working fine, now it fails to find the recipient with the pix key, even recipients that I have successfully found and sent to in the past. Please resolve this issue.
My experience was not great at all. The instructions seemed straightforward at first but somehow my initial transaction was processed three times, I had to cancel two. The one that went through was returned 2 days later and my account was suspended without warning. I contacted the Taptap Send team and they required that I send them a personal document for verification, shortly after sending they said their suspension was final without a proper explanation. I'm still clueless.
I used it for a while, but it's been over two months and they've been asking for my documents. I log into the app and it stays on "analyzing image" for days and never finishes. I've sent several emails, they never resolve the issue, they keep asking me to upload them to the app, even after I've explained about 10 times that I haven't completed it. I installed PaySend and the document upload took about 30 minutes. Goodbye TapTap.
This app worked perfectly until after several transactions it wanted ID verification through a third party service (Joomio). This wouldn't go through on my main device which was highly frustrating (hence 4*), but I did manage it on a different device, so this might work for you too. No explanation as to why it didn't work on my original device and not much help from customer services. But the fact remains, this is the only way I have found to make transfers to friends in a troubled region.
I am a regular user of this application. Everything was great until today. I wanted to perform a transaction and it's asking me for my details. I entered the data and on verification it opens the camera and scans the front of my document perfectly. but when it comes to scanning the back of the document the camera never opens. The mobile phone is heating up and the battery starts to drain rapidly. Wait about half an hour, already updated the application but still can't.
