Spades: Classic Card Games

Game does not honor the mercy rule. Also when most commercials pop up they do not go away even after 30 seconds or more. This results in me having to exit the game and restarting the app. Should not have to go through that at all. Guess the money you get means more those of us who use the app. I do not recommend this spades app at all.

I would rate this game higher, however I have two major qualms with it. The first is the amount of ads. I understand that there will be ads, but it is an insane amount. The second major complaint is how hard they make it to exit the ads. whenever I play I end up with 8-10 webpages for temu alone. they make the x impossible to select without clicking the ad. it's a real bummer because the game is otherwise great.

I am getting tired of feeling like the game is rigged! I never mind losing if it is fair! I can go several games without getting a decent hand. So I am forced to take a nil, which puts me In a dangerous predicament! Also, why do my opponents get most of the spades? I will have to find another Spades game that is fair!

I've been playing this game for a while. Loved it until recently. I'm at Grand Master II level and, as expected and desired, the competition is getting better and better. What's not expected or desired is that my computer-generated partner is not keeping pace with the competition. In the last round I played before posting this review, my partner underbid on SIX straight hands. The algorithms that choose and control the partner need to be tweaked to better keep up with the stiffer competition

Great game if you want to watch advertisements more then you want to play the game. It takes 10 seconds to play a hand and then 30 seconds of advertisements. Absolute money grab. I'm deleting this, hopefully I don't get an advertisement during the uninstall process.

it's getting worse the more I play. more and more ads. now you have to watch an ad between every hand played. of course they are pushing their ad free option, they just want to make money off of you. going to delete this piece of junk now. shameless money grabbers. Can Not Promote This Game At All. It Sux Now.

For the past 6 games my stupid second player (computer player) keeps bidding high and then not being able to win the tricks it bids meaning I keep losing no matter what. Uninstalling as it's not fun to lose all the time.

too many ads, but at least they don't lie about it. still cut the ads by 50% or I uninstall it. Ridiculous how much data you waste

I got a new phone. I transferred old to new one. But your app does not allow me to play the competitive game any longer. I always looked forward to that on the weekends. it there any way to get it back?

You would think the higher in levels you go in this games the better the partners would be. That is sadly not the case in this game. Most of the time the partners as as dumb as rocks in this game, especially the higher you go. Very sad. When you get to the higher levels we should be able to pick our partners. The ones you provide SUCK.

my only complaint with this particular spades game: the opposing team always under bids. they just acquire bags. it really takes a competitive edge out of it, since you can never set the opposing team. other than that, it's quick moving. of course there are entirely too many ads, often one or even two in between each round. but I guess that's what you have to deal with if you want to watch games on without a subscription. subscriptions are priced entirely too high.

The game totally cheats! It throws off when it has the suit and later plays it. If you set a nil it will still take the 100 points. That is, making the nil take a trick. I thought it was doing that bit I didn't know for sure until today when both of those things happened in the same hand. Edit in response to devs. The game will absolutely influence the outcome. On some hands that hearts may have been lead, one of the computer players might throw club. 2 hands late it might throw hearts. Cheats

Love the game, but lately the ads are way more aggressive. There are ads that even after you close it, it still runs in the background. If you try to close the game, hoping that the ad will stop, no chance. Annoying and strange to say the least.

Love the app. Pretty indifferent towards the ads, honestly. For a free and well designed app, they're short and skippable so I think its tolerable. My only real problem is when it hits a certain time of year (like now) and I'm inundated with political ads. Politics are everywhere, at least let me play cards in peace lol. Like, if you aren't going to include an option to purchase an ad-free version, at least don't subject me to campaign ads

Frustrating. 1. Shouldn't be an AD After Every round, how about every 2 rounds. takes the enjoyment out of the game. This has been noted by other players and it's still there, dont see that changing for future players. 2. AI can bid back to back NILS, and win. Often it seems as if I'm playing 3 against 1, computer will play a spade when it shouldn't. I have received the Ace of Spade 3x in a row and with all low cards, no choice but to bid 1, then lose the game, 3x in a row. I have uninstalled.

Like the game a lot but the computers will THROW the game. It is not always a fair game. This would be fantastic if it was fair. Very frustrating when your computer partner throws a lower card than you (when I'm nill) then, very next hand takes it with an ace. I'm going to try and find a FAIR game. And this example is not an isolated case, happens often.

I still play (+1 star). Bidding is tricky. Hands can be ridiculous (I know it's possible to end up with 4 of 5 top spades in your hand, but it feels too frequent and less random. Also, AI plays aren't realistic- They cut each other ALL the time. I do like the look and "feel" but the game play gets old because it doesn't feel realistic. However, maybe I'm also playing so much that it seems to happen more than in real life. I usually play another style, with Jokers and 2 fewer 2's, so there's that

If you are familiar with Spades, then will be too easy in the beginning. Then as many others have noted, once you advance to higher ranks, you are essentially playing 3v1. And if you can still manage to win a few games, it will start rigging the cards on top of the 3v1. Unfortunate because it ruins an otherwise decent game, which in effect puts a clock on how long you will want to play.

The app runs fine, but the computer is just not good, even when the higher level option is turned on. The computer just threw off trump twice and got us set on a 14 BID! This game is not fun to play when your partner randomly decides to disregard even the simplest of strategies. It also threw lower than my card on a nil when it was the last player to play and had a higher card available.

I gave a 3 star because I like the features and the look of the screens and love playing the game on this app. However, I've had to replace my phone twice, all of my info stayed the same, including the #, had a paid subscription for this app, and still had to start from the beginning both times. Lost everything in the game. Ok, so I'll keep playing but have since canceled my subscription.
