I am in love with this game. Finished it a bit ago and I came back to play it again! I love how many worlds there are and how you can unlock so many plants. There are a bit more ads than I could handle so I just play offline. I just wish there was more of an ending instead of just an empty world slot but overall I adore it and would 100℅ recommend it to anyone who wants to kill time!
It's a good game. The plant designs are cool and the gameplay is not bad. But the fact it's a P2W (Pay To Win) game kinda makes me rate it three stars because there are times where the game will pressure you to spend actual money by trying to make you remove ads for a month and to buy coins for like $100 which I think is not worth the money. It's kinda like spending your life savings on a game you're probably just gonna delete in the future.
While there are a LOT of levels, the game is heavily soaked in micropurchases to unlock new plants. It drives me nuts, especially with the fact that if you pay to remove all ads, it only does so for 30 DAYS. I've never seen any other app have the audacity to limit how long ads go away once you pay to do so. I just can't bring myself to sink time into a game that doesn't feel respectful to me as a player with how they expect us to pay so much money.
I was having fun with this game, love the gameplay. But it recently reset all my currencies, garden and endless modes and really pissed me off. the currencies weren't a horrible loss, but it took a long time to get to lvl 200+ in one endless mode. I can no longer see power ups, my dailies never reset anymore. I have cleared cache, I have deleted, restarted and reinstalled multiple times. I feel like no one wants me to play their games anymore.
Good game lots of story and levels there's just 2 things I don't like 1: How there's so many in game purchases like about every plant costs actual money. 2: You can't earn enough gems to get a new plant well you can get enough It just takes forever to get gem its a slow process. But overall I've had a fun experience with this game its nostalgic and fun.
