Unlike traditional brokerage firms that charge fees on trades, Robinhood allows users to buy and sell stocks without incurring any commissions, making it appealing for budget-conscious investors. The app developers actively listen to user feedback, implementing features that users request, such as advanced charting tools and improved order types. While updates are generally well-received, some users feel that the company could improve its customer support. Currently, assistance is primarily available through in-app messaging and a help center, but some users report delays in response times. Enhancing support options and providing more direct assistance could further improve the overall user experience. Overall, Robinhood remains committed to evolving and adapting to its users' needs, making it a competitive choice in the trading app market.

verified Security & Privacy Review

Security & Privacy Review Robinhood takes user security seriously by employing advanced encryption protocols to protect sensitive data during transactions and account access. The app utilizes two-factor authentication (2FA) as an additional layer of security, ensuring that only authorized users can access their accounts. In terms of privacy practices, Robinhood adheres to stringent data handling policies, clearly outlining how user information is collected, used, and shared in its privacy policy. Users are informed about data retention periods and their rights regarding personal information. The app requests specific permissions, such as access to location and contacts, which are utilized to enhance user experience but may raise privacy concerns for some users. However, users can manage these permissions through device settings, providing a level of control over their data. Overall, while Robinhood implements robust security measures and transparent privacy policies, users should remain vigilant and regularly review their account settings to maintain optimal security and privacy.

Bracketed trades would really be a lifesaver. I don't necessarily want to watch a trade continuously; I'd rather set a stop limit and a take profit limit order on the upside, and check in periodically to make adjustments. This would also help my self-discipline so I don't have to think about it when things start to go downhill! Also, why not have a moving candle on the simple as well as the advanced chart? Easier to see what's going on. Indicators on Legend on laptop tend to obscure candles.

Don't trust this site. I called customer service multiple times because I get notifications that my account is not safe anymore and that somebody is trying to get access and they keep saying ok is fixed but then a few months go by and I get the notification again. I barely even use it, I made 1 investment to test out the app and this is what I get. I wish I can delete the account, but all I was able to do is "deactivate it".

Ive used robinhood for a long time. For the most part it WAS awesome. Unfortunately most of the apps features are now blocked by that 5$ a month paywall. The constant push to upgrade to gold is extremely annoying. Theres no cash sweep anymore for basic accounts. And they keep taking more and more away.. To the point im losing intrest in it. I feel there are better apps for trading at this point. Unless you have alot to invest, and want to pay for their gold.. I wouldn't recommend anymore.

So glad I've used this app, but it's got many annoyances, and the annoyances are growing. As of June 20, 2026, it has "prediction markets" (which I haven't used) showing at the TOP of my main page even above my actual positions. That and how it brings up stock lending regularly both feel pushy. Price alerts haven't worked for me in years. Lastly, I can no longer trust the app's listed history of my transactions on any given stock because I've found entries missing in the past. >:(

Obtrusive self-promotion through popups and making it as difficult as possible to get your money back seems like their MO. Despite having added my new debit card last week, it's still not verified nor do I have any indication as to the status of verification "confirmation" emails from the same transactions reads as me attempting to ADD money to Robinhood, despite the title saying otherwise. Just sloppy work and incorporates fomo marketing. Clear as mud.
