Due to so many changes and the big update RC just launched it just feels appropriate to give it a second review. It’s been almost a year sense my last review an the amount of growth sense then has been ridiculous! RC already has one of the greatest Community’s I’ve ever seen on an App. You got a huge selection of your daily and weekly artist/producers that never fail to deliver to your constant new comers just trying to get a grasp on how it all works. The best part is it’s SIMPLE and EFFECTIVE! The app allows you to practice your passion while learning how to post and network at the same time!! An the constant competitions/features and top 100 list allows there to be a fun competitive edge to RC as well! Just a few cool ways to make an artist wanna work even harder! The App is what has improved soooo much though!! From the latest update RC has proven it is going to continue to only get better and better!! It has a better studio now with more effects/mastering/video imports/a HUGE beat selection/ and you can stream to other apps now! The layout is also simple to navigate through an looks awesome! Look I could go all day but I gotta stop somewhere lol. Just download the app and you will see for yourself. RC is the future of music apps
Bro, this app is too dope. I can listen to other artists, get involved with the Community, and make my own songs on the fly. A premium version I'm sure would have more tracks... But then the reviews would be complaining about performance. I'm doing this with an older phone and was still able to do it, so I can't complain at all. Careful though I might actually make some hits accidentally 😬😬😬😬
cool app., so far it's been extremely experimental on my end. I haven't recorded music in a real DAT Studio or Digital Home Studio in so long.... But for the most part this app. is simple and easy to use for on the go artists or hobbyist. A great place for aspiring artists to network and meet. I don't have any intention of getting super serious with recording at this time. But, to just blow some dust off the mic and release a little Acapella Vocal to ease the tention is a plus.*****RAPCHAT.
Look I love this f****** app to the max. I just wish that more things was unlocked when it's a free trial. And lately I've been having trouble with when I start recording and then I switch to a Bluetooth speaker. It resets the whole audio recording. Lose my content then I have to start all over. That's one of my troubles of making progress cuz I have a lot of tracks and they're all going to be hits. I hope we can partner up correctly and so that I can make maybe some bread off of this. I rise.
I can’t believe I hadn’t found this app before, I can do music videos now, edit the raps if it weren’t for a couple glitches I’ll get into, and theirs way more beats the one I previously used. Out of any app I would highly recommend this one, but obviously the better apps are, the more glitches. I’m still waiting for the rap I’m working on now to stop loading, because it said recording failed and I can’t get out of it or undo anything so I would have to loose all my progress to get it to stop. I’ve already had a lot of attempts on this rap! When I finally did it right, this happens, and that wasn’t the first time
I have been using this app sense 2016, and I still this it’s the number one Rap app to exist. I prefer this ones GarageBand even, it’s simplicity provides easy access to all the tools I need to write and record many flows. It’s got thousands of beats from boom bap to exotic beats by razor boomerang. There’s a built in note pad, as well as customizable features that include cover art and links to other music services like SoundCloud and even Messenger. There are hundreds of producers in the RapChat community, so new beats are published almost hourly. There’s a community where you can post flows and collaborate with other RapChat artists inside the app so you can easily improve and compare your music to other artists like you all over the world. I use this app to practice my rhyme schemes and improve my flow; and sense I first started using rapchat in 2016, I have improved exponentially compared to the progress I was making from when I first started rapping in 2012. I wouldn’t write such a review if the app wasn’t overly deserving of it, so if you’re an aspiring artist like me without the resources to sound like a platinum selling artist, I highly suggest you make the same serendipities decision I did and download Rapchat now. -Isaac We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the app! Today is 9/5/19 theres been multiple updates and i just again recorded a whole song and it said error and i lost it all. I cant even describe how frustrating that is. Also you still cannot edit your artwork. Also on an iphone i still dont get notified when someone tags me in comments, you cant pause and cont to record you cant trim your tracks. I love you gus at rapchat i really do its such a cool app but its not getn fixed. The effects you cant even adjust the level properly it freezes. Its full on or nothing which doesnt sound right. I dont get why theres been multiple updates but i see no changes?? Also why cant u access beats without having to go to the record section first? If you just wanna browse beats not record u shuldnt have to go in the record part. The way the dms are set up is also confusing. U loose older content and also dont get notified when someone from an older message again replys. Also can you let us move around our songs on our page to how we want them to appear i want some older tracks at the top. I know you can pin one but it would be awesome to drag and place them on our page in the order we would like. Also the features.... whats up with them? Seems real lyrics dont get featured much? when I search for a specific profile none of the tracks are visible. my brother in law recently passed away and some of his songs were on this app. I can't even search the name of the songs because they don't come up and neither does his profile. I'm having this issue with other profiles as well. their team reached out to me and got the bug in their system fixed. everything is working properly once again. thank you for helping me find my brother in laws songs again.
This app is really cool. And I'd definitely consider keeping it on my phone if the bugs were worked out. Like, for instance, the monitor mode is something I NEED more than other things to work properly. If that doesn't work I can't pay for a monthly Subscription. And hopefully those bugs are fixed, because I could definitely see myself recording for hours upon hours. No cap. Thanks guys! Ya boy , RonnieB
I for one love this app I have experience in music and being in really great studios. The only thing I feel like this is missing is A delete button. If I mess up a small part I have to delete the whole song and start all the way back over. And the other thing is that I have made great songs there I couldn't release due to the song being in slow motion and my vocals not matching up with the beat.
After using it on iOS for some time I was upset to find out that this app is lacking in specs on Android. There is no monitoring while recording, it's not possible to start recording while playing the beat and studio interface is not as user friendly compared to iOS version. I love the app and the general idea, but Android users can't be left in the stoneage like that :)
I love the app but everytime I record with my own voice with no edit or anything it ends up sounding like a chipmunk. and idk why... I mean it always sounds a little different finished then while I'm doing it. but the chipmunk thing ruined like 2 freestyles of mine. and I'm kinda bummed about that because I know I didn't have any effect of those vocals... update I've tried contacting your support team to help with my issues and have yet to get a response. I'd really love to get it fixed soon.
This used to be the best app for dropping fire. Now when I record 9 out of 10 times it will delete my recording. The voice sink no longer works well. And sometimes my editing sounds completely different after it's all finished. Wish it would go back to how it was a couple years ago. I'll download again in a couple months and see if it's fixed. Not much Faith here.
I take back my 5 star review. I would have gave only 1 star but because of the good music production I wanted I added one more making it 2. I sampled a beat and I download it yet I go listen to it in my files and all I hear is 3 seconds of the audio i downloaded from your app yet it was longer than that. Another thing I tried to add my voice to it yet it playing the same Music in the background as if I added a duplicate of it. I hope you make some changes in this app. Thanks for your time.
awful. one of the problems with it is that I used to use this app with the free version, and now you have to pay to get the stuff that was already in the free version which is not worth it. also, beats are off sync, there's a voice delay, sometimes it doesn't even record your voice. you can't add more than two tracks to a song which is just unacceptable. I wanted to start recording music again because I thought it would be fun but nah this app made me hate it. please fix the free version.
You guys haven’t updated in a while huh…. Definitely needs improvement in the studio part. The autotune is just choppy which makes a wild loud unpleasant break in the note and sounds like your voice is cracking or something. Also, why do y’all make it where 2 of the same messages cannot be sent in DM’s
Don't pay for premium because it doesn't even work, I try uploading audio file and it doesn't work. and don't waste your time on this app, Rap Fame is better and works better. The audio when recording music is louder than it is when it uploads, so your audio is always off by a little or a lot. I liked the app, but unlike other apps this one has audio issues and rips you off with premium. Edit: if you stop paying for premium, it continues to charge you. Somehow my mom is being charged 😡
