Used to be awesome, now has almost degraded to just another hiring list. Salary information is hidden inside job ads, requiring me to open each ad separately and expand the details to see it. Sometimes it's completely missing. Too much trouble to find any relevant ads. Also search has checkboxes but does not allow selecting all three, onsite, hybrid and remote. As extra feature, would like to be able to filter by company size.
Otherwise great concept but... 1) Usually there are bots answering with no actual people, so if you want to ask questions, you don't get anywhere. 2) Also, wish there was an option to slide non-interesting or not suitable offers off the dashboard. 3) Another idea would be great to choose an option for multiple job areas, people are not simply any more just doing one expertise or wish to expand etc. 4) To find out the salary you need to expand the job ads one by one, which is tedious.
Does what it says right, the minimalist factor IMO is great, however, there should be a broader selection of work fields or spread it out more. While it's great that you don't have to write a lot, sometimes it leaves you wanting.
I gave up during the onboarding. Chatbot it's fine, but when you ask info that can be retrieved in a faster way, break them down in many steps and options, increase the cost of interaction. Looking for remote positions, I do not expect the app to bound me to a specific country during the onboarding. Freedom and control are valuable.
Works fine and leads (at least for me) to work interviews pretty much 100% of the time. But i really miss the ability to discard offers without having to open them up. Makes cleaning the feed really tiresome and i kind of stopped opening the app after this was removed. Could use some more explanation on things and allow you to filter and sort things, right now its just a splash of things as they are and you kind of have to settle for that.
Same 5 offers appear all the time, discard does nothing. Notifications are too frequent and very hyped. I thought this app would change some things in the job market, but it's completely useless. Job descriptions/choices are very narrow, impossible to get in what i actually can do or what skills i have.
As a developer I miss filtering jobs based on my expertise, have to open every single job and realise.. not my skills. I constantly get notifications or ad messages from companies, sometimes its interesting I see beginning of the texts in notifications, but when I open up the app, theres nothing there, and this have been for years with different phones, I have reported about some bugs like this, but they wont respond
Overall decent app, but I think it's not really different from LinkedIn etc. Essentialy you still can (and will) apply yourself. I still like it for job search purposes though. However, 1) I really hate when the app sends me a push saying they're X new job recommendations available for me but when I tap on it I'm presented with the jobs I've already seen many times🤦♂️ poor way of driving in-app engagement 😉 2) For god's sake, please differentiate product and project management in filtering!
The app keeps crashing. I input a search and it shows me two posts and keeps coming up with refresh page and won't load all the full page. Uninstalled and installed again, still doesn't work. Clearly there is a bug and completely useless app in this case as website search is not supported.
Horrific interface. Not sure what their intention is with the key functionality, but job searching certainly doesn't seem to be it. I gave up after trying to find any kind of filter or basic list of opportunities... One to miss I would say.
App has potential, but it should be possible to select multiple tracks and specialities. Jobs in startups can be very broad. This is 0 from my experience in marketing technology (hands on experience with with data and analytics, software engineering, campaign execution. Whilst still being a scrum master, product owner and contributing to marketing strategy). It would be nice if people could define their own skillset.
Used to be 5/5 app and experience. Now it just crashes after updating your profile information or sending information about yourself to potential companies interested in connecting with you. Sad to see that instead of progress, there has been a regress.
There is an UI functionality that you could improve: when I click a job offer and after reading it I press "back" button on my phone, I am dropped on the top of the job offers list and I have to scroll all the way down to find where I was before. Suggestion: "back" button on phone should bring user back to a job offer on the landing page, which he clicked the last, so all the scrolling would be avoided.
The idea itself is nice, unfortunately no actual recruitment happens through this app. The employers simply send you links to their website and demand you apply there. Really basic features are missing too, like the ability to just see all jobs from a specific company.
