4/27 I love this app soooo much! The previous issues, not many, were resolved and I'm soooo grateful. I do have a technical question, though. When I check off a task as done, there is a pop up for any edits and to write a reflection on the task. If I tap the three dots for a drop down menu, it immediately just goes away and I have to go into history to add the reflection. Not a huge deal, but I used that option a lot in the past and it's frus ***fun and easy way to stay organized and motivated
I really like this app, but it needs more. I wish it had more to keep you engaged. The ad claimed it was like a tamagotchi, but it isn't really. That would actually be cool though. Because needing to feed your Birb would probably help more with motivation to do tasks than just the adventure thing. If they add in feeding the Birb and playing with it, to keep it healthy and happy, it would be even better and it would bump it to five stars in my opinion. It's pretty great, but just needs more.
Actually a mental health app. It has incentives to do tasks. You can do them with friends or family to keep you (and them) motivated. You can dress up your penguin and home with a variety of themes. The paid version is just for extra goodies from the shop and more outfit slots. You get 2 by default and plenty of shop options without paying which is so nice. It can get a little pushy some times but it never makes you feel bad for clicking 'no thanks'.
I CANNOT use this app at night :( it's actually been so helpful, but no dark mode makes it incredibly difficult to log things at night or use the app when I first get up. I have a few ocular issues (photosensitive, after images, visual snow, hormonal migraines) and I'd really love to pay for the app and use it long term, but I just can't. I'm missing goals because of this and it's really frustrating and disheartening. Please come out with a dark mode! It would make so many birb parents happy!
I love this app. My only complaint is when I have set goals for start of day, afternoon, evening, bedtime, I expect them to stay in order but they dont always do. If I set a new goal, it makes things go all wacky and I have to reorder them. It's not too big an issue, but when I'm struggling to get things done and look to the app to help, sometimes not seeing it at the top is enough for me to procrastinate when I wouldn't otherwise. Small detail, but that's the only thing that drives me mad.
