love the game, already had this on the computer but wanted to play this more on my phone. there is an issue though, sometimes when I knock enemies away I send them flying so hard that they end up on the other side of the island even though they should've splashed in the water. I had maxed archers with heavy weapons if your wondering devs.

It's alot of fun, pretty much a tower defense but with more strategy. I see people are having save issues where their save files aren't there or the game isn't saving. I'd recommend not hitting the return to menu button, instead, when you're done playing just hit the home button on your phone and close it that way. When you come back to the game your save should be there. If you die or lose you have to start over. My saves are always there and I can always pick up where i left off. Great fun.

This game does not hold your hand (which I like!). Its simplistic style allows older phones to run the game, but its design allows for complex gameplay. Its one of those, "Learn it and earn it" kind of games. You'll make mistakes. Don't be afraid to start over! Learn each class and their strengths. Set priorities dependant on the map and difficulty. Its fun, casual and also challenging. Love this game!

For a long time I was frustrated because I couldn't find "that game". The perfect balance of challenge, graphics, story, options and immersion. When I saw this was coming to mobile I was thrilled. Honestly the best money I have spent on Any game. Kudos to the dev team for providing such a fantastic concept to mobile! So happy with it I plan to get the pc version as well. You will not be disappointed! Looking forward to more releases from this talented team.

Worth the 4 dollars!!!! Simple yet incredibly stressful! No micro transactions or ads but what I would do for some extra 4 gold per island... Interesting concept with the ability to go through multiple islands before clicking next turn if you have enough guys. I love the movement. Absolutely devastating when someone dies. I screamed out loud nooooooooo 💔💔💔💔. Only half way through excited to play through again with what I have learned my first time.

This is one of the best strategy games I've found. The gameplay is enjoyable, the art is fantastic, if you screw up, your game is basically over... Like you have to restart... decisions are critical, you pay dearly for screw ups, though it's not so bad that by other good decisions you can't recover. There is a ton of variety, so you can play through again with completely different results. It's awesome, more than worth the price.

This game shows how you don't need flashy gameplay, complicated mechanics, or high-end graphics to make a fun and entertaining games. I recommend you get it. The five dollars are worth it. Just warning you all though. This game tends to slow down by the end of the game and this is only made worse if you have multiple save files(in my case I only had two). If you delete most of your save files and keep one, your game will speed up significantly.

I can't say enough good things about this game! I've played through at least 20 times on all difficulties it's that fun. Cool graphics, great strategy, def recommend. Only gripe is that they don't seem to be making any updates so once to beat it that's it. Please make a new version or levels or something

One of the better mobile games. I keep coming back to it even years on. it's a bite-sized, real-time tactics game, and although I tend to prefer turn-based tactics, learning the nuances of the game is very fun. I just wish there was a little more to it; something to work towards. Also some of the achievements might be bugged, because I'm sure I should have earned them all by now. :P

Absolutely love the game! No ads which is awesome. Love the art style, and the background music. Good game to pass the time, and can get quite tense at times, keeps you engaged and on your toes. Although I do wish there were a little bit more upgrades, unit types. Perhaps even merging your units? Have spears with warriors, or Archers with Spearman, etc. Being able to take control of buildings and use them as a defensive position not only a heal zone? Overall a fantastic game, 5/5 all day!

Very fun, strategic, and unique game. I'm starting to think pre-pay games are the only way to enjoy a mobile game. A 2nd edition or additional modes and customizations would be welcomed. For example, more skill trees, boss levels, or bigger islands or castles and perhaps some that you're on the offensive would be fun.

I own the original version on my ps4, i was exited to see there was a sequel on the store. The original game was really good, the graphics although minimalistic make the game feel real and alive. The strategy aspect of troop positioning and countering maneuvers is unmatched by other games of its kind. however the base game lacked more depth. By adding traits and more items it makes each run more unique and gives each commander its own implied background story with more added portraits . This makes the game better at storytelling. As soon as I saw the game I knew I had to purchase it. I look forward to any updates to the game or even new version building on what’s already in game. Kudos to the devs for an awesome game and keep updating the game w/ new traits/items.

This is a great game. Even with the patches there are still times when the app crashes or won’t load my saved file. Other than that I love the game. It’s like a real-time tactical command your troops type of game set on 3D islands that are each unique. I think the game is pretty flawless as is but there are a few things that could be improved. First I think that the special ability of the infantry units is terrible and should be replaced with something like temporary invulnerability. Second I think that there should be a reward for finishing the campaign or even the possibility of keeping your troops for other campaigns. Finally I think that the troops should be more customizable and unique. For example we should be able to name them. If you like strategy games and are thinking about buying this one do it! It’s so good! Hi, I'm sorry you've encountered this issue! We are aware some players have encountered this and the team is currently investigating the issue. We hope to have this fixed soon! I’ve heard a ton about crashes in this game. I have a beat up iPhone 7 and it still runs very well. I’ve played for maybe 10 hours and had about 3-4 crashes which haven’t impeded the fun and strategic appeals of this game. I was on the edge about buying it because so many people said it would barely run, but I ended up getting it and have loved it since. It’s totally worth the money. If you have an iPhone 7 or above and you’re interested, you should totally get this game. Also I’ve had it on 60 FPS instead of 30 and it makes it look way better and still runs great. Edit: I would love to see some new type of unit, it would really spice things up for the people playing it through more than once. Maybe a catapult that you can only get later in the campaign or even a ship of your own with archers or guys with crossbows on it. Crossbows itself could be a good idea. As long as it’s not too similar to any other troops.

This is an exceptional defense game with sweet graphics and cool sound effects. I she enjoyed playing the game. Pros, graphics, sound effects, scrolling in and out, challenging, easy to play. Cons, it's hard to remember all of the saved attributes that you can gain during the game including the bonuses to your commanders. It takes a while to play and get good at it but it is enjoyable. I don't think it's nearly as good as polytopia, but still replayable.

This game is one of my favorite games to play because of its simple art style and intense, survivalist, gameplay. I love the level design and the progression of the enemy types. I downloaded this game knowing wholeheartedly that it had its bugs, because I wanted to give it the chance it deserved. Its an amazing game! It needs fixes, NOW. To pinpoint some of the bugs I’ve found, one being the inability to load into one of my saved campaigns, and another being a simple color shade of the island as it loads in, are some of the easy ones. Another bug that scares me is the sudden crashing that occurs when I open the upgrade screen as well as the map screen. I need fixes and I need them now. Once again, I love the game! Please fulfill my requests with an update. <3

I do enjoy this game, a good buy for $4 US. My issue with the game is the almost instant difficulty curve after a 1st checkpoint that is about 30mins into the game. No amount of strats can compensate for how soft your fighters are in comparison to the new enemies. Considering there is no way in recruiting more troops so after even 1 bad battle your stuck reloading or starting over because 3/4 of your people die and there is nothing you can do about it. Major mood killer after the hours I put in

The game is definitely a lot of fun and can be pretty challenging at times. Nice charactes, upgrades and strategy scenarios. My only issue is with the stability. I've played for maybe 2 hours already and had 2 crashes that completely lost all my saved data both times up to that point, and it can be frustrating. Overall a solid 4 and worth the cost.

Right, fairly simple in its design and gameplay. But that's fun! You don't need overly complex mechanics to make a fun game and I believe for a minimalistic RTS, it does it well! The details from the portraits to the models through upgrades is a good touch. Skills are useful and can make a difference in the heat of it. However, my only gripe is you can't replay any of the previous islands without having to restart from the last checkpoint. Other than that? Very enjoyable, simple & easy to play.

The game is fun and good and all until you have to restart every time you open. It sets itself up to have a progressive system where for example if you unlock a character with an attribute you can use them in a new run through. The issue is you'll never do that because the game resets itself whenever you close it. Still a good game though. I would love to play it, but it feels like a waste of time since nothing saves.

I tried to beat the game 15 times but every time after the second checkpoint it crashes, just like everyone else says. It’s unbeatable! You can’t get past 75% completion! They need to fix this, I come back to the game every two or three months hoping they’ve updated it because it’s such a game but this is getting ridiculous now... do they even read any of the reviews? UPDATE: Ironically like a day after I posted this, it for some reason stopped glitching so much on my latest campaign (my fifteenth). This is crazy, as I have been trying to finish a campaign without it glitching and ruining the save since last year. So I’m not sure what to give this game as a review anymore because I’m elated it finally works and want to give it five stars, but at the same time it’s odd because the game working without glitches is not the norm at all and is probably a glitch in and of itself! So I am changing my review from ONE STAR to THREE STARS

I like the art style, the sounds, the mechanics, the depth, etc. Overall it's a cool concept, executed decent. The pitfall is that the experience doesn't seem very dynamic. Once you've played it a few hours, you've basically had your fill. You can unlock better starting stuff, but that doesn't really entice me more into replaying all that much. The difficulty is also pretty steep and linear. You hit a wall eventually where every island just slaughters you with more brutes than you can handle.

The game is really fun. Fantastic artwork. The only problem I keep having is that the game keeps deleting my progress. I have not actually played through the entire game because if i close the game for an extended amount of time it will delete my progress. This has happened to me every time without fail. This bug causes an extreme lack of desire to play because I know my progress will be deleted if I can't finish the game in one go. It's not a phone problem, I just got a new one. Please fix.

I love this game, the controls translate to touchscreen very well, the gameplay is simple and fun, and it's pretty good quality. This would be a 5-star review, HOWEVER, this game has a crippling save bug. It's only just started happening to me. 3 times in a row my save just gets deleted as soon as I quit the game. It doesnt matter if you leave during a battle, exit to main menu, or close the game. You lose your save file and all your time you spent on it.

Very enjoyable, except for the chronic data loss issues. I've played for around 26 hours and I haven't even unlocked any starting traits or completed a single playthrough because of data loss. It's mentioned in almost every review. I've seen reviews dating back to 2019, yet it's 2022 and data loss is still ruining the game.
