I love the game. It's one of my favorites. However, there's a few issues. As mentioned by others there are lags when traveling or doing anything with your team (ie: modifying your team, evolving, etc.). Since the last update I've been having connectivity issues that has absolutely nothing to do with my phone. None of my other games have this connectivity issue. My rating will increase once this issue is resolved. EDIT: The issues I had been experiencing has been resolved.

Just recently I had a situation in which my data went missing, the support team was amazing. Very polite and helpful, they were able to restore it. I definitely recommend, great gameplay for both serious and casual players. My only complaints are that leveling dinos can get very expensive very fast, and skins are only available to people who pay real money, with the exception of one.

If you are a dinosaur lover, you will think it’s a dream come true, I think this is one of the best dinosaur games ever created! And you’ll love this game! What are you freaking waiting for? PRESS DOWNLOAD! Well, this is my new entry. The game is really cool and I’ve read some critical reviews, but most of them are about the the unrealistic details and updates fixing nothing, I do agree that there is lots of things to control. But it being unrealistic is not just because they want you to pay money for a stegosaurs betting the legendary indo rex, it’s just the point of the game! To get stronger! Most of the updates add new stuff into the game. Developer’s if your reading this maybe look at other reviews to see any bugs you can fix, including this: I’m on mobile iPad. And it’s kinda old... but sometimes (now just started) the game lags a TON. It started out of nowhere, it lags when the other player (PVP battles) makes a move, then lags when when it’s your turn, do you cant press anything while it loads! Then un lags when ur turn is over! I’ve lost many times because of this, after a hour or so 30 minutes maybe, it stopped, still lagged a bit, out of the battles and in, but then the game choose my own moves for battling! Instantly! Like it was one of those bots on battle things on the map. Please look into this so I know if it’s my device or not. Thanks!

Thank you so much for making this game! I love playing it and it’s so fun! I could not recommend it more! Very well done graphics and the sounds that the dinosaurs make are SO realistic. Plus, it’s free so I didn’t have to pay for it! Major acknowledgement to the people who made it! I started playing this game because I love dinosaurs and this looked pretty cool. So I downloaded it. And now I’m so glad I did! I’ve been playing it for a while now and I think it’s the best game I’ve ever played. I kind of like Pokémon Go and this is kind of like it...but WAY better I’m so happy I got the game. I’ve never seen a game as cool as this one. Thank you very much for making this game so much fun! I think the best part is that it has new stuff and always creates more. Some games I’ve played before aren’t that fun because it’s the same thing. Like only one basic idea, but this one has so many different features that all go along very well with the point of the game. There’s battling, collecting dinosaurs, evolving them into huge strong dinosaurs, and SO many dinosaurs. I never get bored because just when I think I’ve collected all the species, a new amazing one comes around and then once I get that one a new one comes along. Besides that you can join groups made up of other players and there’s nest strikes were you can battle Dino’s for super amazing stuff! I think it’s just amazing and nothing less.

JW alive has a been a favorite of mine even before it came out (I pre-registered). And it has served me well. There are very annoying bugs going around the game, and recommend those should be fixed. Like if I accidentally exit the app, it can restart the whole game, make this magenta colored screen, or basically kick me out of the battle I’m in and take control of my team with AI saying “Catching up to present”. Also, Ludia, I think the game can have a few more features like: alliance peace treaty’s/alliance friends and alliance wars/conflicts, and betting like for cash, coin or DNA in battles and stuff like that. Also, the AI I face in campaign and just normal battles, get like 75% critical chance for them (while it says they still have 5%), while I still have 5%, they also know what your going for so they can perfectly counter the attack. But, anyways, Ludia has done such a good job with COVID-19 situation, there adding giga scents, which attract a variety of different dinosaurs, and have increased the drone meter for normal and VIP. Speaking of VIP, VIP should be lowered to $5 a month instead of $10 a month just because of its abilities and features. And Ludia, some back round info, I honestly got this game noticed by me from TheGamingBeaver, so when you get the time, give him some JW the game and JW alive bucks (also say it was from me). Thank Ludia! (If you even read this).

I rarely review games because they are so costly. Not to mention the time it takes to refresh or start another section of the game. Jurassic World Live however can be played completely free. I admit I have put money into this game to level faster but it’s definitely not required. You can easily play this game for hours everyday and I love the pvp and raids. The map of the area you are in is really awesome as well. You obtain dino dna from literally your own backyard. You can walk or drive to obtain even more if you are so inclined but there is plenty in your own home area. Combining the dna to make stronger super dinos can be very slow at times but what fun would it be if you didn’t have to work for the “Unique” and “Apex” creatures. And to obtain the Apex creatures it does take the coordination of your alliance but that really turns into a lot of fun. There is limited chat capability and I’m sure that is to keep everyone safe but that can be a little frustrating at times. Especially when you are coordinating a raid with your alliance but Discord pretty much solves that issue. I’ve met a lot of great people. I highly recommend this game. It’s quite ingenious and they are constantly giving us new updates. (Developers please stop changing the dinos “powers” around, it’s frustrating when we work so hard on a creature and then it’s worthless at the next update). Thank you for making such an amazing game!!!!!

I Love everything about this game. It is one of the few games you can do a lot in for free and still have the option to purchase an upgrade for even MORE! My only con is the wing design on the avian therapods, birds, and hybrids. They don'therapies,, their wings in a naturallooking position. Their primary feathers stay fully extended and the wings then simply bend in half. But that's just me being splitting hairs to find something negative to say. Lol.

I’ve been playing JWA almost since it came out and I don’t know why it’s taken over two years to write a review. I play this game daily, have never had any major complaints. I love collecting dinos and getting all the DNA. I’m a super casual player and have found a casual alliance but there are some super serious players out there as well if that’s more your style. I sometimes spend money but it’s definitely not needed if you’re a casual player. I’m working from home so my hunting range has been reduced significantly so I guess with that my one complaint would be that the gym battles (v the AI) don’t provide a wide enough variety within certain spaces. I had 5 gyms within my hunting circle the other day and four them were the same. The levels suggested for those gyms really only focus on lower levels or super high levels, there’s not enough middle to high level gyms (16-20, 21-25). I also ran out of achievements within the first year or so and a larger range of achievements haven’t been added for us long term players. But overall it’s a solid game. Updates come out regularly so it doesn’t feel stagnant. Always new dinos to be on the look out for and to collect. It’s so satisfying to be working toward creating a new creature for months and finally getting that last bit of DNA needed. They art work is amazing and it really is a giant community if you want it to be. 10/10 would recommend

The game is nice. That being said it's so laggy it's disorienting. The battle system is also confusing and aspects of the darting thing are confusing. The game has a lot of potential but could really use improvement. Pretty fun but it would be helpful to have more availability to get higher level dinos and more of a tutorial.

I'm few days deep into this game. It's been a lot of fun collecting DNA for the dinos. Graphics are awesome. I still have more to explore in the game. Definitely expect a grind. There needs to be better direction for how to complete some objectives, maybe a list of available dinos you have that meet the requirements for the objective.

As an update to my old review the Raptors and Rex's seem to have been fixed well in retrospect to armored dinos. I think they've become much more lifelike in battle. At this point my 1 star drop is do to bugs alone. I keep getting stuck in loading screens. Jumping into battles, coming out of battles, loading dinos, loading supply drops, you get the point, it freezes. Pokemon is catching up to my area and it's easier to catch them then before. I've been playing that more simply because this game is too buggy.

It is a great game overall, but I personally, I wish there were aquatic dinosaurs. After you progress a bit, none of the dinos really seem that interesting and its more like a "been there done that" situation. Everything is typically the same with low damage attacks, and I just wish that they could balance out the dinos. Also, there's constantly lagging, crashing, and freezing, which makes enjoying the game difficult.

this game is wonderful..but it's got its problems. i love it, and as a major fan of the jurassic series, this felt really cool. but, its just so pumped full of glitches and bugs. the tracking is buggy and will jump around sometimes when stationary. there have been times where while walking, the game will freeze. but when it catches up it flings the character ahead and gives me the typical "You're going to fast!" message. (which sometimes happens when i'm standing still) needs more love and work

It has potential to be really cool. It's just like Pokemon Go, but with Jurassic World instead. The graphics are awesome, but it takes forever to even open up (even sitting right next to the wifi), and it's just far too much to do. Also, the groups to join are either private or the players are inactive, and it costs really money to create your own. So, not a horrible game, just not for me.

The game in itself is very fun, but the in-game monetary system is horribly flawed. As you raise higher into the game, everything becomes more expensive while still only offering the same amount earnings. If the goal is to try to get players to stay on the app longer to collect more coins, that still wouldn't work out because you're collecting DNA during that time and still spend more. They also try to sell in-game purchases at prices of $50(+) dollars, which is ridiculous.

In order to keep evolving your dinos and participate in a lot of the things, you have to pour money into it. And then when you get "rewarded" (I hadn't played in a few months, so I got welcome back gifts), they take most, if not all, back. For example, I received extra darts for coming back (I had over 500) and went to dart dinos. After my first one, the 500 went back to the normal allowed amount. Plus, they took most of the coin back that they gave me. I like the game but not greediness.

Been playing for a long time. It's a good game at its core. The pvp is fun. And the idea of creating dinosaurs is cool. But... the game is plagued with to much micro transactions. And the meta balancing can get pretty bad... whatever is new will 100% be OP. "You want to unlock it more quickly? Buy this stuff!" Not to mention all the visual and connection bug's and glitches. 50/50

This would easily be 5 stars, if it wasn't so awfully slow. The game play is awesome, and it would so much better than Pokemon Go, if it didnt lag so much. You could be having a great run on the drone, and then the game lags out, and ruins it. The menus are extremely slow to load as well. This isn't a connection issue, I could be getting over 700 megabits per second, and it still acts the same. I'm sure it would be amazing on a gaming phone though, just not an average one.

its amazing, but I really think more people would enjoy this game if they leveled the events, atm you have to be a certain level for most of the enjoyable events and quests and such..... I've been playing every day for a long time and still am not high enough level for most of the events. however, awesome graphics, awesome content, awesome gameplay, just can't access most of the game to be able to enjoy it. they need to make more low level events too, that also help to level low leveled players.

I used to love this game, and I honestly still kinda do. But the match making for the battles reminds me of CoD's-its terrible. Because I've taken breaks my creatures are so out of date with there moves, and Im at a huge disadvantage. And the game low-key feels pay to win. I'm very aware of my creatures being out of date, but the costs of leveling up dinosaurs is too much and I don't play this game all day every day, so I don't have the time to grind the coin.

I have been playing this game for quite some time now, and it has changed a lot since I first reviewed it. Initially, I gave it 5 stars because I felt like I could progress well without microtransactions and the gameplay itself was pretty smooth. Since then, the game has been soiled with bugs, power creeping, piss-poor creature designs, and a pay-to-win game mechanic. The reason why I have given it any stars is because of the community and the hard work the original team invested into the game.

Fun game here and there but far from perfect. It has a great concept and was fun at the start but you hit hard wall unless you are willing to pay real world money. It usually takes a while to get enough dna to lvl up dinos and even then, you don't get enough gold. The match making is rigged constantly pairing you with higher lvl dinos that I've noticed some people pay for that advantage. There is also quite a few bugs that need to be fixed. A few simple fixes would drastically improve the game.

I used to love this game. I stopped playing a few years ago because of how expensive it is just to level up one dinosaur once at a certain point.. I came back last week and will be uninstalling again for the same reason. no progression is possible unless you're on 24/7 for days and days or you wait weeks/ buy expensive packs. (For me right now- £20 would need to be spent to level up 1 dinosaur once, if I don't want to wait and work on it all the time for days) the coins are absolute robbery.

I like the game graphics and the detail placed into it. but I do not like the fighting style. I like games where I could move around freely. this game just reminds me of Pokémon where you stand in one spot trading blows. I hope there is a version out there where I could move around freely. if this versions offers that I just haven't seen it.

I have played this game since it launched and loved it. A few years later, there were glaring issues that make it not fun. It can take years to make a dino just to not be able to use it in certain fights. I uninstalled it, but gave it another chance. In the Island of Trials, guess what? Same nonsense. This time they lock what dinos you can use, then when they die, you have to pay cash to revive them (paywall). Guess I'm done again. Never knew a company to hate it's player base so much.
