Like a bunch of others have already reported, the app starts but you get a blank screen with Vehicle on the left and Service on the right. You can pull down and all you get is Updating with a spinning icon. Amazed that after this many of the same report the response seems to be that this is the first time it's being reported - it's not. There must be some sort of Android version incompatibility here - figure it out - it's not isolated.

The app works great for remote starting my 2024 Ranger, and locking/unlocking the doors, but that's all it does. I have a camper top on my truck and sleep in the bed when I camp. My truck came with LEDs in the bed but they can only be turned on or off using the button in the cab. I want to be able to control the interior and exterior lights of the truck through the app, especially the bed lights. Minus one star for the limited functionality.

I wish there was a way to send in bugs and feature requests. The charge rate shows as <1 kW, which I know isn't accurate because my non-Ford charger tells me otherwise (and I've calculated it). You can only see up to 20 charge events at a time (31 would be better so you can see how much energy for a given month), and the charging history date is in DD/MM/YYYY format which is the third date format I might use for the US (ideally the user could configure it).

Way better than Chevy since it's free, however I don't like that if I schedule a remote start, and then my schedule changes, and I go into re-schedule it says it goes through, but my truck still starts on the 1st scheduled start, and that is annoying, or if I schedule it, and completely cancel it, it still starts. Still a great feature though!

I do not like the idea that we have a delay in getting an oil change update done. I have absolutely had an oil change done, reset it in the car and the app is still saying oil life is 1% and I have no way of resetting it for the app. There is no instruction that is working for this particular situation. that seems to be a problem for an app that should be really really attuned to the vehicle.

I just updated this app yesterday and now it won't connect. before the update, it showed my address on the location bar, now it only shows coordinates. I don't understand coordinates, I understand addresses. it also hasn't changed the fuel data, even after I filled up the tank today. it just won't connect to my vehicle after the update. please fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it seems to have corrected the issue, at least for now.

The app offers a lot of nice features, but it routinely fails to add past charging events to my charging history, and it often displays inaccurate information about my current charge session. For example, the time on the charger will be hours longer than it really was. Also, it doesn't always show stats for an in-process charge, like charge rate, miles added, or total added kWh. Phone as a key constantly tries to connect to my phone from other rooms in the house.

It's great, when it works. I remote start and sometimes it gives me 15 minutes but not always. Today it gave me 12 minutes. I also had it give me only 7 minutes before. No rhyme or reason to it. Also, if the truck does a software update, which happens way too often, the app won't work until you start the vehicle from inside.

I like the app itself overall. It's very polished and has just about everything I need. It would be nice if it actually showed if my car was currently locked so I wouldn't have to wonder if I forgot to lock it. Another issue is the fact that there is no picture of one of my cars. After calling to see if they can fix this, they said it could not be corrected. ???? You are able to make complex cars, are a trillion dollar company, but you can't add a picture???

The app can't or won't show the lock status of the vehicle? Even if you lock it from the app the "Locked" message appears for a couple of seconds, then disappears. At one point I was able to install the UK version of FordPass and it showed lock status just fine. But they appear to have blocked it from working in the US. The FordPass app *will* show fuel level, oil status, tire pressure, and will do remote start. Those are nice, but not showing a simple lock status is infuriating.

An absolutely USELESS app. It used to work great. Especially for autostart, lock, unlock, etc. Now, it's does absolutely NOTHING. It says my truck is running ALL the time. Autostart will NOT work. Lock/unlock are useless as well. I've signed in/out. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. All to no avail. I will change my rating if it EVER works again. Oh, I've also installed all new updates to the app AND the trucks software. Junk. 🙄

The app is great and nice features that are useful such as knowing the gas left in the vehicle, tire pressure, opening and closing the car, starting the car remotely. These are features that I love also having the owners manual there. The reason for my 3 stars is that I wish Ford would update their app so that when you close the phone and look at the app again it wouldn't say "Temporarily Unavailable". It happens every time you lock your phone and look at it again. Everything else is amazing.

They got rid of the zone lighting control from the app shortly after I bought my f150 tremor. That was the only relevant part of the app being able to turn all the lights on when it's very dark out as I live in the country. Other than that its just a remote starting app which you can already do with your key fob with the addition of a ton of tracking and privacy loss given directly to Ford.

1. Very difficult to find where to order parts. 2. "How To" videos only go back to car models 9 years ago. 3. When you go to look at your vehicle manual, after you have already entered the information for your vehicle, it doesn't remember that you already put the VIN into the section for your vehicle 4. cannot delete an obsolete credit card and it remembers the obsolete card info, so you cannot create the new one. 5. Text notifications say parts are in but parts are not found at the dealership.

It used to work great. Now it won't autostart my car unless I use my key fob and "lock" the door, then it starts.. which is weird and less than useful since I have to go outside to make autostart work. I can no longer start it from in the store, and have my car on when I get out. I called the tech people and all they found was my car sending signals about something completely different.. I don't have the money to get the car people to look at it, so I guess im stuck with this issue.

I went to look at why and the time zones have changed which lead to my car starting and turning off hours later than scheduled. There is no way to fix it on my end unless I schedule it later. Hopefull, they can get this fixed quickly due to I live where we have extreme weather conditions.

App would be fine, except for the "Phone as key trying to connect to your vehicle" notifications 20 times a day. With no way to turn it off unless you disable all notifications, which I do not want. Or you go into the app and force stop it. Why even make that a notification?! Disabling "allow background data usage" doesn't stop it. So how much data is this app using? Is this app constantly draining my vehicles battery trying to connect to it all day long?

I am a little frustrated by buying a 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum Max, w all the bells & whistles, only to learn later, that I have to subscribe to multiple connectivity packages, in order to continue w these features sold as part of the vehicle. The connectivity features are wonderful, but add all the connectivity costs up, and it is quite pricey. Nothing was mentioned by Malloy Dealership about such added costs post 60 days of purchase. Buyer beware!!!

I was forced to update to the latest version today, (6/16/25,) and now the app doesn't work. All I see is a blank screen with two options at the bottom. Swiping down to refresh produces a never ending swirlie. All my vehicle information appears to be gone. I have this on two devices and the same result on both. Android OS. Nice "upgrade". Sure glad my car wasn't stolen, as I'd have no idea where to send the police!

If you look almost all the five star reviews are over a year or two old. A super slow lazy app that almost never works. I can't really control how my car has the heat settings or anything from the app. If I want to remotely start it. The fact I need to have Wi-Fi makes this almost completely useless as my Wi-Fi does not go all the way into my garage Lolo in my driveway. Also, when I turn off my car and open the door the Bluetooth still stays on for 30 minutes. This app and car sucks

The app works great for remote starting my 2024 Ranger, and locking/unlocking the doors, but that's all it does. I have a camper top on my truck and sleep in the bed when I camp. My truck came with LEDs in the bed but they can only be turned on or off using the button in the cab. I want to be able to control the interior and exterior lights of the truck through the app, especially the bed lights. Minus one star for the limited functionality.

Way better than Chevy since it's free, however I don't like that if I schedule a remote start, and then my schedule changes, and I go into re-schedule it says it goes through, but my truck still starts on the 1st scheduled start, and that is annoying, or if I schedule it, and completely cancel it, it still starts. Still a great feature though!

I do not like the idea that we have a delay in getting an oil change update done. I have absolutely had an oil change done, reset it in the car and the app is still saying oil life is 1% and I have no way of resetting it for the app. There is no instruction that is working for this particular situation. that seems to be a problem for an app that should be really really attuned to the vehicle.

You can only see up to 20 charge events at a time (31 would be better so you can see how much energy for a given month), and the charging history date is in DD/MM/YYYY format which is the third date format I might use for the US (ideally the user could configure it).

I just updated this app yesterday and now it won't connect. before the update, it showed my address on the location bar, now it only shows coordinates. I don't understand coordinates, I understand addresses. it also hasn't changed the fuel data, even after I filled up the tank today. it just won't connect to my vehicle after the update. please fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it seems to have corrected the issue, at least for now.

At one point I was able to install the UK version of FordPass and it showed lock status just fine. But they appear to have blocked it from working in the US. The FordPass app *will* show fuel level, oil status, tire pressure, and will do remote start. Those are nice, but not showing a simple lock status is infuriating.

An absolutely USELESS app. It used to work great. Especially for autostart, lock, unlock, etc. Now, it's does absolutely NOTHING. It says my truck is running ALL the time. Autostart will NOT work. Lock/unlock are useless as well. I've signed in/out. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. All to no avail. I will change my rating if it EVER works again. Oh, I've also installed all new updates to the app AND the trucks software. Junk. 🙄

The app is great and nice features that are useful such as knowing the gas left in the vehicle, tire pressure, opening and closing the car, starting the car remotely. These are features that I love also having the owners manual there. The reason for my 3 stars is that I wish Ford would update their app so that when you close the phone and look at the app again it wouldn't say "Temporarily Unavailable". It happens every time you lock your phone and look at it again. Everything else is amazing.

They got rid of the zone lighting control from the app shortly after I bought my f150 tremor. That was the only relevant part of the app being able to turn all the lights on when it's very dark out as I live in the country. Other than that its just a remote starting app which you can already do with your key fob with the addition of a ton of tracking and privacy loss given directly to Ford.

1. Very difficult to find where to order parts. 2. "How To" videos only go back to car models 9 years ago. 3. When you go to look at your vehicle manual, after you have already entered the information for your vehicle, it doesn't remember that you already put the VIN into the section for your vehicle 4. cannot delete an obsolete credit card and it remembers the obsolete card info, so you cannot create the new one. 5. Text notifications say parts are in but parts are not found at the dealership.

It used to work great. Now it won't autostart my car unless I use my key fob and "lock" the door, then it starts.. which is weird and less than useful since I have to go outside to make autostart work. I can no longer start it from in the store, and have my car on when I get out. I called the tech people and all they found was my car sending signals about something completely different.. I don't have the money to get the car people to look at it, so I guess im stuck with this issue.

For the most part, I love this app. However, after the update I did the remote start schedule, which is now an hours behind. I went to look at why and the time zones have changed which lead to my car starting and turning off hours later than scheduled. There is no way to fix it on my end unless I schedule it later. Hopefull, they can get this fixed quickly due to I live where we have extreme weather conditions.

App would be fine, except for the "Phone as key trying to connect to your vehicle" notifications 20 times a day. With no way to turn it off unless you disable all notifications, which I do not want. Or you go into the app and force stop it. Why even make that a notification?! Disabling "allow background data usage" doesn't stop it. So how much data is this app using? Is this app constantly draining my vehicles battery trying to connect to it all day long?

I am a little frustrated by buying a 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum Max, w all the bells & whistles, only to learn later, that I have to subscribe to multiple connectivity packages, in order to continue w these features sold as part of the vehicle. The connectivity features are wonderful, but add all the connectivity costs up, and it is quite pricey. Nothing was mentioned by Malloy Dealership about such added costs post 60 days of purchase. Buyer beware!!!

I was forced to update to the latest version today, (6/16/25,) and now the app doesn't work. All I see is a blank screen with two options at the bottom. Swiping down to refresh produces a never ending swirlie. All my vehicle information appears to be gone. I have this on two devices and the same result on both. Android OS. Nice "upgrade". Sure glad my car wasn't stolen, as I'd have no idea where to send the police!

If you look almost all the five star reviews are over a year or two old. A super slow lazy app that almost never works. I can't really control how my car has the heat settings or anything from the app. If I want to remotely start it. The fact I need to have Wi-Fi makes this almost completely useless as my Wi-Fi does not go all the way into my garage Lolo in my driveway. Also, when I turn off my car and open the door the Bluetooth still stays on for 30 minutes. This app and car sucks

The app works great for remote starting my 2024 Ranger, and locking/unlocking the doors, but that's all it does. I have a camper top on my truck and sleep in the bed when I camp. My truck came with LEDs in the bed but they can only be turned on or off using the button in the cab. I want to be able to control the interior and exterior lights of the truck through the app, especially the bed lights. Minus one star for the limited functionality.

Way better than Chevy since it's free, however I don't like that if I schedule a remote start, and then my schedule changes, and I go into re-schedule it says it goes through, but my truck still starts on the 1st scheduled start, and that is annoying, or if I schedule it, and completely cancel it, it still starts. Still a great feature though!

I do not like the idea that we have a delay in getting an oil change update done. I have absolutely had an oil change done, reset it in the car and the app is still saying oil life is 1% and I have no way of resetting it for the app. There is no instruction that is working for this particular situation. that seems to be a problem for an app that should be really really attuned to the vehicle.

It's great, when it works. I remote start and sometimes it gives me 15 minutes but not always. Today it gave me 12 minutes. I also had it give me only 7 minutes before. No rhyme or reason to it. Also, if the truck does a software update, which happens way too often, the app won't work until you start the vehicle from inside.

I like the app itself overall. It's very polished and has just about everything I need. It would be nice if it actually showed if my car was currently locked so I wouldn't have to wonder if I forgot to lock it. Another issue is the fact that there is no picture of one of my cars. After calling to see if they can fix this, they said it could not be corrected. ???? You are able to make complex cars, are a trillion dollar company, but you can't add a picture???

I wish there was a way to send in bugs and feature requests. The charge rate shows as <1 kW, which I know isn't accurate because my non-Ford charger tells me otherwise (and I've calculated it). You can only see up to 20 charge events at a time (31 would be better so you can see how much energy for a given month), and the charging history date is in DD/MM/YYYY format which is the third date format I might use for the US (ideally the user could configure it).

I just updated this app yesterday and now it won't connect. before the update, it showed my address on the location bar, now it only shows coordinates. I don't understand coordinates, I understand addresses. it also hasn't changed the fuel data, even after I filled up the tank today. it just won't connect to my vehicle after the update. please fix it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it seems to have corrected the issue, at least for now.

The app offers a lot of nice features, but it routinely fails to add past charging events to my charging history, and it often displays inaccurate information about my current charge session. For example, the time on the charger will be hours longer than it really was. Also, it doesn't always show stats for an in-process charge, like charge rate, miles added, or total added kWh. Phone as a key constantly tries to connect to my phone from other rooms in the house.

Like a bunch of others have already reported, the app starts but you get a blank screen with Vehicle on the left and Service on the right. You can pull down and all you get is Updating with a spinning icon. Amazed that after this many of the same report the response seems to be that this is the first time it's being reported - it's not. There must be some sort of Android version incompatibility here - figure it out - it's not isolated.
