2023: I'm having trouble logging in. It claims it's wrong PW. I can get in the first time with typical ID & PW but when I try to do the recertification it sends me to email & PW.. AGAIN, claims wrong pw. I try to reset pw & never get the email or text. I've done it several times in the last hour! UPDATE 2024: Since going through (.gov) I was feeling safer, now there's hackers getting in our SNAPS & personal info. DTA is working on it. UPDATE 2025: It's not working again. This time worse!!
This app was working fine, until recently. It NO longer allows you to login, for about a month or so now it consistantly says error and doesn't allow you to log in. Cannot upload documents, can't update anything and calling the office is pointless, this USED to be easiest most effect way, but not anymore. Zero stars until they fix this! At least let us log in!
Does this app ever work??! So frustrating!! 😫 Even to just check my balance on the EBT card, there's always an issue or they respond with "having technical difficulties, try later" , yes but they're ALWAYS having technical difficulties!! Another issue I have is why doesn't the EBT card have a MasterCard or VISA logo on it so it can be used online?? I mean in 2023 alot of things are done online now & I feel they need to update. I've had to upload documents several times for them to go thru.
can you fix the app especially when we try to use it in the store PLEASE!!!

It won't let me log in anymore. Everytime you log in, it brings you to an external login screen, before it brings you back to the app, but now it doesn't even log you in to the app, it just sends you back to the login screen. How am I supposed to see how much money I have?

Calling DTA gives u more information than this app. It's honestly unnecessary as it is. If it could tell me my transactions and locations, which would notify me of suspicious activity, THEN it would be worth the MB/GB.
This app almost never works anymore. It constantly says it's having technical difficulties. It won't let me access my card to lock or unlock it because it won't even let me log in. As soon as I log in it says "we're having technical difficulties, try again later". It's been doing this for months. I can't access my benefits if I can't unlock my card. I've already had my benefits stolen once so this is getting ridiculous!!!!! FIX THIS APP!!!!
There is absolutely nowhere in here. Where you can just go in, hit, contact us and then send an email or a text message. And when you do find something like that, it doesn't even go to it. I think this app stinks, I think somebody needs to do the whole thing over and as I was calling you people, you say, you have 10 days to get in touch with you to let you know that you had Lots of food, because of electricity going out and you can't get anywhere at in there on the phone. Anything.
this app has been wonderful ever since it began a few years ago. makes everything so much easier with sending in verifications and you can read any important information before getting it in the mail. it's a huge time saver!
goes down a lot in the morning. they really push you to lock your card, but when the App us down, imagine being at the register and unable to unlock your card. imagine only having one shot at your grocery trip and its ruined or delayed because of the system being down. honestly if they push for locking the card they should compensate your time for the errors. 6/10 and 6/11/25, both days the DTA app goes down around 9am, on 6/10 it wasn't resolved until after 3pm after going down at 8:45am.
Absolute junk. such a simple app yet we can't make it work. constantly having technical difficulty errors that will not allow me to sign in. I've tried Wi-Fi, cellular I've cleared the cache and all data for my phone, uninstall then reinstall the app and nothing works.
This app was working great and I had never had any issues but I've literally been trying to upload documents and it won't let me...it won't let my pic gallery open or even let me take the pic...I've tried on multiple devices and same thing happens ... Also other ppl have told me they are having the same issue. I even tried restarting my phone and also deleting the app and re downloading from scratch but nothing . Can someone please help if they know what's happening ??! 😥
This app was great to use. I had absolutely no problems with it at all, but apparently, Mass.gov has the problem using it and have now made it impossible to check your foodstamp balance online now. You might as well just unistall this app. If you have it, it is completely useless now. Mass.gov wants you to sign in to their online in order to check your balance, yet they have made that uderly impossible to do so I guess we're going old school on this now and have to call the number on your card.
This new app is terrible. I get error messages when I tried to connect. All my information is correct. I tried calling these people and spent 2 hours and 44 mins. I got cut off at my third phone call was supposed to to connected to customer service in 45 mins but got cut off one min before talking to someone. Never got ahold of anyone. I'll try again sometime. They owe me a apology for cutting me off I'm 😡. The app is useless to say.
App is terribly in need of work. Login issues, inability to upload documents, confusing instructions and poor formatting for reading documents. Tells you to go to the website, which is completely different and refuses to connect my account. Sad but it seems it hasn't been updated in years. But at least you can still call them up and get different answers every time depending on who you speak to.

Tells you to go to the website, which is completely different and refuses to connect my account. Sad but it seems it hasn't been updated in years. But at least you can still call them up and get different answers every time depending on who you speak to.
app isnt accurate. it never shows the correct amount for my food stamps and cash benefits. you're better off just calling your card to find out **UPDATE 7/2/25** app still has constant issues. 90% of the time I cant even log in due to a technical error and am told to try again later. really frustrating when you need to upload verification documents and cant. mailing or faxing is still recommended over this app
This app almost never works anymore. It constantly says it's having technical difficulties. It won't let me access my card to lock or unlock it because it won't even let me log in. As soon as I log in it says "we're having technical difficulties, try again later". It's been doing this for months. I can't access my benefits if I can't unlock my card. I've already had my benefits stolen once so this is getting ridiculous!!!!! FIX THIS APP!!!!
This app was working fine, until recently. It NO longer allows you to login, for about a month or so now it consistantly says error and doesn't allow you to log in. Cannot upload documents, can't update anything and calling the office is pointless, this USED to be easiest most effect way, but not anymore. Zero stars until they fix this! At least let us log in!
Does this app ever work??! So frustrating!! 😫 Even to just check my balance on the EBT card, there's always an issue or they respond with "having technical difficulties, try later" , yes but they're ALWAYS having technical difficulties!! Another issue I have is why doesn't the EBT card have a MasterCard or VISA logo on it so it can be used online?? I mean in 2023 alot of things are done online now & I feel they need to update. I've had to upload documents several times for them to go thru.

It won't let me log in anymore. Everytime you log in, it brings you to an external login screen, before it brings you back to the app, but now it doesn't even log you in to the app, it just sends you back to the login screen. How am I supposed to see how much money I have?

Calling DTA gives u more information than this app. It's honestly unnecessary as it is. If it could tell me my transactions and locations, which would notify me of suspicious activity, THEN it would be worth the MB/GB.
2023: I'm having trouble logging in. It claims it's wrong PW. I can get in the first time with typical ID & PW but when I try to do the recertification it sends me to email & PW.. AGAIN, claims wrong pw. I try to reset pw & never get the email or text. I've done it several times in the last hour! UPDATE 2024: Since going through (.gov) I was feeling safer, now there's hackers getting in our SNAPS & personal info. DTA is working on it. UPDATE 2025: It's not working again. This time worse!!
There is absolutely nowhere in here. Where you can just go in, hit, contact us and then send an email or a text message. And when you do find something like that, it doesn't even go to it. I think this app stinks, I think somebody needs to do the whole thing over and as I was calling you people, you say, you have 10 days to get in touch with you to let you know that you had Lots of food, because of electricity going out and you can't get anywhere at in there on the phone. Anything.
this app has been wonderful ever since it began a few years ago. makes everything so much easier with sending in verifications and you can read any important information before getting it in the mail. it's a huge time saver!
goes down a lot in the morning. they really push you to lock your card, but when the App us down, imagine being at the register and unable to unlock your card. imagine only having one shot at your grocery trip and its ruined or delayed because of the system being down. honestly if they push for locking the card they should compensate your time for the errors. 6/10 and 6/11/25, both days the DTA app goes down around 9am, on 6/10 it wasn't resolved until after 3pm after going down at 8:45am.
Absolute junk. such a simple app yet we can't make it work. constantly having technical difficulty errors that will not allow me to sign in. I've tried Wi-Fi, cellular I've cleared the cache and all data for my phone, uninstall then reinstall the app and nothing works.
This app was working great and I had never had any issues but I've literally been trying to upload documents and it won't let me...it won't let my pic gallery open or even let me take the pic...I've tried on multiple devices and same thing happens ... Also other ppl have told me they are having the same issue. I even tried restarting my phone and also deleting the app and re downloading from scratch but nothing . Can someone please help if they know what's happening ??! 😥
This app was great to use. I had absolutely no problems with it at all, but apparently, Mass.gov has the problem using it and have now made it impossible to check your foodstamp balance online now. You might as well just unistall this app. If you have it, it is completely useless now. Mass.gov wants you to sign in to their online in order to check your balance, yet they have made that uderly impossible to do so I guess we're going old school on this now and have to call the number on your card.
This new app is terrible. I get error messages when I tried to connect. All my information is correct. I tried calling these people and spent 2 hours and 44 mins. I got cut off at my third phone call was supposed to to connected to customer service in 45 mins but got cut off one min before talking to someone. Never got ahold of anyone. I'll try again sometime. They owe me a apology for cutting me off I'm 😡. The app is useless to say.
