helps me save money, which we all need. You need to physically add any offered coupons to your app each week to receive the deals, and they are always taken off once i enter my accounts phone number. That doesn't always happen on other apps. Just make sure to read the details. In the ad. On the shelf tags. On the coupons. But that is advice for all stores, really. There is fine print everywhere. I do recommend this app, if that makes any difference. Happy days forever! ♡
Most of the time, offers and coupons don't work. I tried using the $5 off $25 for Saturday, and it would not come off, no matter how much I added to my cart even over $50, it still wouldn't work. The app has officially quit working, gives an error code and I've contacted DG with no reply. It's not worth my time, effort, and endless agony.
This is a third party app. Nothing ever matches the stores, and when you check out the coupons either don't come off, don't stack as they should, or just freeze the register. When the prices and coupons don't match the total at the register the employees say "It's a third party app and this happens every day. It doesn't reflect our stores prices or coupons." and then they don't honor it or try to fix it. The developers and the company need to get on the same page! Also can't get in since update.
So every time I back out of the app (something I need to do to navigate the signup process), the app loses my place and fully reloads the app as if I closed it completely and then starts me from the beginning. Did it crash or close? 2 failed attempts and then my number is blocked. This is totally a user friendly experience. Best app design of all time. Before you ask, no background processes are not limited. Today I learned that's a thing you can apparently do. This is so frustrating bro.
Update doesn't update! It says I need to update but when I do I still get the notification that I need to update. On top of that, when you're in a Dollar General, even with the best service, you can't get a signal to use the coupons and things. You may be able to halfway get the app to work, but that's only if you disconnect and reconnect from their Wi-Fi to your phone service. Been like that for a couple years. I know I'm not the only one.....
