Transition from Wells Fargo to this system has been bumpy (double that on iOS). On the Android side, I've made payments that don't seem to stick. I'll pay the balance off (to zero), but either the same balance will show on the app after the payment or I've even seen a new balance pop-up which I'll try to pay (again, it never goes to zero). It's gotten so frustrating for me that I've stopped using the card while they work out whatever this issue is.
Love the idea, hate the app. I get the rent mailed to be every month which is great but that's not why I'm giving it 2 stars. When opening the app, none if the buttons work. I've un-installed and reinstalled - same issue. I would hope that they test on my phone since I have a flagship phone. From day 1, it's been on and off in terms of working. This past month, it hasn't been working at all.
The Bilt app was having some bugs with my Pixel 10 which have been resolved now. It also has some lag problems. If it was working correctly, I would add another star. As far as the service goes, I never had the 1.0 card but the 2.0 versions can still work in your favor if you make your way through the labyrinth that is Bilt's rewards system.
I can't wait to move. I don't know where this company came from to take over for the old management company, but they should just leave. Accessing all of my credit cards and personal info and then putting on some sketchy website the moment I sign up. And claim it's for "rewards". While continuously not letting me set up a passkey for two factor ID. Please just tell everyone you're trying to sell their info to credit card companies and anyone else that wants it. They look like scammers too.
repeatedly flag transactions (mortgage, water, electricity, trash, etc.) as "not permitted" even though its terms allowed (despite these fees are coming from multiple charges from different businesses). Their support is the worst. not worth the hassle. 2026 Mar: repeatedly failed to pay mortgage since BILT 2.0 despite autopay for more than a year. No response by customer service. they can't be trusted for pay mortgage that we cannot missed. diplo update crash the app.
