Absolutely abysmal update. Custom shopping lists are just *poof* gone! I don't just mean that all of the saved items were wiped clean with the update, I mean the whole functionality of creating custom shopping lists was removed! You still get a list of "regulars" (automatic/curated by Asda) and "favourites" (manually "hearted"). But custom shopping lists were such a time saver! That's not the only problem with this update, but certainly the biggest disappointment for me personally. Shocking!

Until a month ago, the app always worked fine on Samsung S21. Now the app interface has changed and there are many bugs and glitches with it. 2 weeks ago we were not able to amend order within the deadline. Calling Asda customer service did not help at all - they told us to uninstall the app and log out, then log back in, but the option to amend our order still didn't appear. Today there was a glitch that prevented me from paying - awful, and it freezes all the time too.

The app was always inferior to the Tesco app because I could rarely track my delivery. Since the update, the app has got worse. Still can't track delivery, amending orders is slow and for the first time ever, had to navigate away to approve the sale in my banking app . Once that was done, the app amended the price but not the order itself. The same items were there , no changes had been made. Also, when I click regulars now ,all the items I've bought in the last six months to a year show

Awful! I've used Asda online for years and this app update is their worst to date. It was bad enough last time when the app wouldn't let you put more than two items in your basket before telling you to book a slot to get up to date stock info, then you still had at least one item unavailable AND several items substituted. But now its asking you to sign back in after every couple of items. The page randomly jumps to the top or bottom and navigation of the app is abysmal.

ASDA should be ashamed of themselves, for the new updates, is such a horrible experience. I found it utterly useless and difficult to use. Most of all you cannot edit substitutions when you check out which I think is utterly ridiculous. The old version from over a year ago, was 100 times better than this piece of junk. If I could, I would give this app zero stars. This app has to be by far the worst shopping app ever.

why is it everytime you promise a new improved app it ends up being worse than the one before, it's now deleted my asda rewards this week and it doesn't appear to be connected anymore. Now I can't find half the products I use to buy, not enough products on one page, also tells you there's several products that you've requested but shows you one item only, please sort this out asda before I decide to go elsewhere.

New review. Can somebody sort this diabolical app out properly . Every time I go to order, I give up. The App has truly gone from bad to worse. The navigation is so bad, & erratic ! Surely someone could have done a better job. First review "Book slot" pop-up is very annoying. When you open the app it no longer takes you to the home screen, but instead asks to book a slot. Unable to use previous orders to reorder specific items on the list Unable to open many of the Reviews.

would give zero stars if I could. latest update of this app has made it so unusable. I don't understand how an update can go backwards in usability. the glitches are too many to mention. I use the chrome website now. if I hadn't bought a yearly subscription for delivery I would be off to another supermarket. all the 1 star reviews aren't lying.

Still shocking, glitchy, how long can they continue with such a poor experience. LOST ALL MY Favourites last update??!!! I want ease of use, quick selection of my favourites, I don't need to be up-sold. Just lower the graphics res or offer ability to turn off something to speed up, a text list would do. I need a simple list to order my favourites each week. It's genuinely quicker to visit the store to shop than to use this app, 30-45 minutes to order favourites is a joke.

Have been using this mobile app since 2013, and was always so quick and easy to place an order (In 2017 I rated the ASDA app 5 stars). For the past year with each "update" it has just got slower and more painful to use. It's like a taste of everything that is going downhill in the UK in the past few years, in an app! This is clearly not progress!

ABYSMAL!!! I appreciate that an app like this is going to get overwhelmed sometimes and that bugs and glitches can happen. However, this app is worse than McDonald's ice cream machine for being broken!! It's always kicking you out, IF it loads at all, and when it does load, it's glitchy af at the worst possible time, like when trying to pay, so you either end up charged twice, or lose everything in your basket. Get it together already.

Asking me to book a slot as soon as I open the app is really irritating! Update 20/08 - this app is now even worse, if that is possible! It's so slow, tells you about deals but then doesn't let you view items, no idea how the search can show you lego when you search pizza. Delivery slots don't always load, so you have to come out and go back in again. Everything just lags! Only still using it as I have delivery pass.

Started at 3, down to 1. Back to Tesco! Have to login often, if I click off to Google n click back it's reloaded n logged out! Shows a stupidly ridiculous no. of irrelevant items when u ask for lowest price first. If you've purchased n start a new basket, you have to delete the new basket to change the one u already paid for! I like that reviews are available on the app, although mine never show! I've complained my reviews don't show, they still don't show, keep getting emails to review items!🤦

No longer continuous scroll but have to click to go to the next page. Page keeps jumping down the the bottom so have to keep scrolling back to the top. Buggy and glitchy UI. Favourites are mixed in with random items I never order. Checkout is a mess. Can no longer empty entire basket to start over. Instead you have to remove every item one at a time. Can't add a reminder to my calendar anymore or track a delivery. Started using Sainsburys instead due to too many subs and out of stock items.

App has stopped working. Can't amend orders, can't book new slots, can't change date, time or address of slot, can't track driver. It was fine before the last update. Customer service are useless, telling me it's temp problem when it's been happening 7 weeks. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache, logged out and back in. It does not work. Useless.

I've be ordering with Asda and had the app since the first Covid lockdown. Never had an issue until recently. I had to look up on Google why it hasn't been working right, why tracking on orders hasn't been working etc to find out they're doing updates that might take a couple months to work out. Surely a company this big should have beta systems in place to make sure things work properly before it goes live? I'm so frustrated with it not working as it should. And I see I'm not the only one!

Been glitchy for several months now, If you don't book a slot before you add items to your basket, it clears your basket when you book, even though you are not needing to change which shop, which it claims you need to every time. Then you try to save your trolley, it doesn't save it. It's slow and you have to scroll through lots of irrelevant items when searching. If you add items to your basket and log in on another device, they won't be there. Previous orders regularly disappear. Nightmare!

Home page is far too long with too many things on it, impossible to find what you're looking for. Check out too glitchy, had to restart so many times I lost my slot and couldn't rebook it, so had to book one at a really inconvenient time. App not really intuitive. Not got any better: there's so many substitutions - I had an order with 39 items tonight, there were 9 substitutions. There's always about that many. And today their system is down so I have to request all of those refunds manually.

Edit: it is not acceptable to restart the process just because you navigate away from the app. I did not lose connectivity. Ffs New ads suck. When searching for a product, your products show up, then a split second later an ad appears in items place. The delay is perfectly timed so you click the ad and not your product. Get rid of it or make it better.

It no longer works since the update! I can be sat for over 10 minutes trying to add something to the basket. Every time I press "Add," it doesn't add the product, just loads, and then goes back to "add." I've also had issues with booking a slot. The pop-up message of "book a slot" just keeps appearing every time I try and click on something, even when I've got a slot booked. No longer useable!

The app was always inferior to the Tesco app because I could rarely track my delivery. Since the update, the app has got worse. Still can't track delivery, amending orders is slow and for the first time ever, had to navigate away to approve the sale in my banking app . Once that was done, the app amended the price but not the order itself. The same items were there , no changes had been made. Also, when I click regulars now ,all the items I've bought in the last six months to a year show

why is it everytime you promise a new improved app it ends up being worse than the one before, it's now deleted my asda rewards this week and it doesn't appear to be connected anymore. Now I can't find half the products I use to buy, not enough products on one page, also tells you there's several products that you've requested but shows you one item only, please sort this out asda before I decide to go elsewhere.

I need a simple list to order my favourites each week. It's genuinely quicker to visit the store to shop than to use this app, 30-45 minutes to order favourites is a joke.

Have been using this mobile app since 2013, and was always so quick and easy to place an order (In 2017 I rated the ASDA app 5 stars). For the past year with each "update" it has just got slower and more painful to use. It's like a taste of everything that is going downhill in the UK in the past few years, in an app! This is clearly not progress!

ABYSMAL!!! I appreciate that an app like this is going to get overwhelmed sometimes and that bugs and glitches can happen. However, this app is worse than McDonald's ice cream machine for being broken!! It's always kicking you out, IF it loads at all, and when it does load, it's glitchy af at the worst possible time, like when trying to pay, so you either end up charged twice, or lose everything in your basket. Get it together already.

Asking me to book a slot as soon as I open the app is really irritating! Update 20/08 - this app is now even worse, if that is possible! It's so slow, tells you about deals but then doesn't let you view items, no idea how the search can show you lego when you search pizza. Delivery slots don't always load, so you have to come out and go back in again. Everything just lags! Only still using it as I have delivery pass.

Started at 3, down to 1. Back to Tesco! Have to login often, if I click off to Google n click back it's reloaded n logged out! Shows a stupidly ridiculous no. of irrelevant items when u ask for lowest price first. If you've purchased n start a new basket, you have to delete the new basket to change the one u already paid for! I like that reviews are available on the app, although mine never show! I've complained my reviews don't show, they still don't show, keep getting emails to review items!🤦

No longer continuous scroll but have to click to go to the next page. Page keeps jumping down the the bottom so have to keep scrolling back to the top. Buggy and glitchy UI. Favourites are mixed in with random items I never order. Checkout is a mess. Can no longer empty entire basket to start over. Instead you have to remove every item one at a time. Can't add a reminder to my calendar anymore or track a delivery. Started using Sainsburys instead due to too many subs and out of stock items.

App has stopped working. Can't amend orders, can't book new slots, can't change date, time or address of slot, can't track driver. It was fine before the last update. Customer service are useless, telling me it's temp problem when it's been happening 7 weeks. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache, logged out and back in. It does not work. Useless.

I've be ordering with Asda and had the app since the first Covid lockdown. Never had an issue until recently. I had to look up on Google why it hasn't been working right, why tracking on orders hasn't been working etc to find out they're doing updates that might take a couple months to work out. Surely a company this big should have beta systems in place to make sure things work properly before it goes live? I'm so frustrated with it not working as it should. And I see I'm not the only one!

Been glitchy for several months now, If you don't book a slot before you add items to your basket, it clears your basket when you book, even though you are not needing to change which shop, which it claims you need to every time. Then you try to save your trolley, it doesn't save it. It's slow and you have to scroll through lots of irrelevant items when searching. If you add items to your basket and log in on another device, they won't be there. Previous orders regularly disappear. Nightmare!

Home page is far too long with too many things on it, impossible to find what you're looking for. Check out too glitchy, had to restart so many times I lost my slot and couldn't rebook it, so had to book one at a really inconvenient time. App not really intuitive. Not got any better: there's so many substitutions - I had an order with 39 items tonight, there were 9 substitutions. There's always about that many. And today their system is down so I have to request all of those refunds manually.

Edit: it is not acceptable to restart the process just because you navigate away from the app. I did not lose connectivity. Ffs New ads suck. When searching for a product, your products show up, then a split second later an ad appears in items place. The delay is perfectly timed so you click the ad and not your product. Get rid of it or make it better.

It no longer works since the update! I can be sat for over 10 minutes trying to add something to the basket. Every time I press "Add," it doesn't add the product, just loads, and then goes back to "add." I've also had issues with booking a slot. The pop-up message of "book a slot" just keeps appearing every time I try and click on something, even when I've got a slot booked. No longer useable!

The app was always inferior to the Tesco app because I could rarely track my delivery. Since the update, the app has got worse. Still can't track delivery, amending orders is slow and for the first time ever, had to navigate away to approve the sale in my banking app . Once that was done, the app amended the price but not the order itself. The same items were there , no changes had been made. Also, when I click regulars now ,all the items I've bought in the last six months to a year show

Until a month ago, the app always worked fine on Samsung S21. Now the app interface has changed and there are many bugs and glitches with it. 2 weeks ago we were not able to amend order within the deadline. Calling Asda customer service did not help at all - they told us to uninstall the app and log out, then log back in, but the option to amend our order still didn't appear. Today there was a glitch that prevented me from paying - awful, and it freezes all the time too.

Awful! I've used Asda online for years and this app update is their worst to date. It was bad enough last time when the app wouldn't let you put more than two items in your basket before telling you to book a slot to get up to date stock info, then you still had at least one item unavailable AND several items substituted. But now its asking you to sign back in after every couple of items. The page randomly jumps to the top or bottom and navigation of the app is abysmal.

ASDA should be ashamed of themselves, for the new updates, is such a horrible experience. I found it utterly useless and difficult to use. Most of all you cannot edit substitutions when you check out which I think is utterly ridiculous. The old version from over a year ago, was 100 times better than this piece of junk. If I could, I would give this app zero stars. This app has to be by far the worst shopping app ever.

why is it everytime you promise a new improved app it ends up being worse than the one before, it's now deleted my asda rewards this week and it doesn't appear to be connected anymore. Now I can't find half the products I use to buy, not enough products on one page, also tells you there's several products that you've requested but shows you one item only, please sort this out asda before I decide to go elsewhere.

New review. Can somebody sort this diabolical app out properly . Every time I go to order, I give up. The App has truly gone from bad to worse. The navigation is so bad, & erratic ! Surely someone could have done a better job. First review "Book slot" pop-up is very annoying. When you open the app it no longer takes you to the home screen, but instead asks to book a slot. Unable to use previous orders to reorder specific items on the list Unable to open many of the Reviews.

would give zero stars if I could. latest update of this app has made it so unusable. I don't understand how an update can go backwards in usability. the glitches are too many to mention. I use the chrome website now. if I hadn't bought a yearly subscription for delivery I would be off to another supermarket. all the 1 star reviews aren't lying.

Still shocking, glitchy, how long can they continue with such a poor experience. LOST ALL MY Favourites last update??!!! I want ease of use, quick selection of my favourites, I don't need to be up-sold. Just lower the graphics res or offer ability to turn off something to speed up, a text list would do. I need a simple list to order my favourites each week. It's genuinely quicker to visit the store to shop than to use this app, 30-45 minutes to order favourites is a joke.

Absolutely abysmal update. Custom shopping lists are just *poof* gone! I don't just mean that all of the saved items were wiped clean with the update, I mean the whole functionality of creating custom shopping lists was removed! You still get a list of "regulars" (automatic/curated by Asda) and "favourites" (manually "hearted"). But custom shopping lists were such a time saver! That's not the only problem with this update, but certainly the biggest disappointment for me personally. Shocking!
