Concept is good. Both easy and challenging. Ads are mostly not a problem. You choose to watch them to get bonuses. And the bonuses are good. An option is to join clans to obtain extra rewards. You battle game armies and armies of other players....but you win or lose trophies....not any troops should you lose a battle. The game is easy to grasp but it does take time to upgrade your army. The better players have been playing for a year or more. But you won't battle them...not for a long time.
I love this game in every way and I’m looking forward to chapter 4 of the expedition mode! But may I suggest a way to see your troops and what levels you have while looking at the troops after you select (troops) under the (hero) tab. I have mostly level 5&6 troops but I have several low levels waiting to buy more troop cards to level up and sometimes it gets hard to remember which troop is what level and then having to click off of the battle field and into the hero tab and then select troop and then find the troop and click to the level and I keep having to scroll back and forth, and if you had a way to do a side by side comparison of your troop and there level and see how many you have of each level that would be awesome as greatly appreciated. I’m sorry if that’s confusing and also I would like to add that I really hope you don’t take away the 1,600 for the delux legion and make it for vip only because like I’m not opposed to buying gems but I don’t want to do a subscription payment and I like that you can use the gems to invest in better items. So, this game is great. The ads were some cheap stick figures and a person we had 2 brain cells active. This game is much better than the ad, 3D characters, okay graphics, and a good gameplay. But, the layout is a little bit of a copy of clash royals setup, but only the home screen. The rest of the game is great. Really unique strategy game, on what to spend your coins on, which characters to chose, and so on. But in the beginning, it’s a little boring-it’s too easy. The only reason I kept this game is because of the reviews, and I knew that it would get better as I go on. Because of the reviews. I would suggest to make the beginning a bit more difficult and and interesting, so the player would be hooked-even in the first few stages. Honestly, great game, good graphics for a free mobile game, and okay gameplay. But I would suggest to make the beginning more interesting, so more people would play it, not just leaving it in the corner and the app wasting their storage. Also, speed up the process of leveling up, so as I already said, make the process faster and more interesting. That would hook more players in early game. Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The game is rather top heavy. I started playing soon after the covid shenanigans started, and I can't catch up to the top players for anything. Also, I haven't(and will not, the price point to value ratio is way too low), done any in game purchases, but looking at them it clearly makes the game a pay to win type scenario. It doesn't help that there is a language barrier between the operators and client base. And that their naming conventions don't appeal to native English speakers universally.
First off the game is great and have made my way up the ranks and its been fun, since the expedition part has been added to the game i have seem to want to play that more than the other parts of the game, have you guys made a art of war - expedition?? If you made one soley on that and had a bunch of levels that would be awesome, im at the point im waiting on more levels for the expedition and keep coming back to find no new unlocked levels. But gotta say love the game!
This game is a 5* for the first 2-3 weeks until you complete Expedition. Expedition deserves 5*, the rest of the game 3* as it becomes very repetitive after 2-3 weeks. It is worth downloading for that initial experience but I don't recommend spending any money in it. After your troops reach level 8 you are pretty much stuck. They made another game similar to Expedition but it is not even close to how good that game mode is. I haven't deleted the game just in hopes they release more chapters.
Except some of the 30 second ads really kill your interest in game. If its only 5 sec with the 3x gold reward I would’ve play this for time killer. But waiting 30 sec throwing down your phone open is really killing the fast paced gameplay. Limit your ads to not over 15 sec the most. Response response: What is important is not the gold you earn from total time spent. What is important is the time the player is interested. Currently I need to watch 30 seconds of ads for playing one game, to get the reward. Since you dev says it is meaningless because you’re going to balance between a player trying to support by watching dev and a player just playing not doing so, I understand where it’s coming from, but it is a bad system. There is no need to buy gold or watch ads, which means you can’t sustain the game. And I’m not complaining that I’m not getting million golds from ads. I’m complaining I have to waste the same, or even more, amounts of time watching ads then playing. This is fast paced game. 30 sec ads really ruin the game’s pro. Therefore, I suggest lowering the gold bonus earned from ads, if you want to balance it out, not making people use more time watching ads. It being 2x or even 1.5x still people will gladly watch. Thank you for good suggestion and explanation, of course, we do better than other games in the way of ads (it's not too much, not everywhere, and 100% voluntary), but we are not perfect, you right we should work more on improving it and we will.
When I first started playing this game, I was disappointed my the main gameplay, and how there is no real strategy to it. The expeditions are quite fun, but the amount of troops required to take a castle is unclear. There also should be far more. It's the best thing in the game. This game is a very good time killer. But again, there is no strategy to the main levels or arena fights, so they get dull quite fast.
I was playing unblock me when the ad for this game came on. It intregued me. After watching several more ads of stick figure guys picking the wrong path and figuring this was a game where you would have to use your brain, i decided to install it. Boy was I misled! I got to level 100 on the main section with no thought to it at all. The first part that gets unlocked you have some mild terrain to deal with but is still super simplistic. The next the arena get unlocked and that is ok but not great.
This is a "game" of how many ads can we get you to watch. Even paying money, $5/day, just reduces the ads, you can never get rid of them. To get all the bonuses you would also need to shell out $250 +$150 per month that's extreme for this type of game. Devs are definitely greedy. Reply to dev: Yes, you "can" skip the ads but then you cripple your army. Notice the dev didn't say anything about the $5/day. They overprice in-game items and expect them to be bought, guess someone is buying them.
It's a good game. Takes a lot of time to build up your army and is very tedious. The game had a glitch(not my fault). Some how I and many other had their accounts were locked. Customer service would not unlock it and was unprofessional. The only option is delete the game to times(lose everything), reload the game and start over with nothing.
At first it's ok. But this game is highly repetitive, there's nothing to actually do, the battles are mostly automatic. The castles monogame was actually fun but then in part 2, 12th battle I can't figure out any way to get past the first castle. Aside from actual strategy, and more game play this game desperately needs documentation. It would be nice to read up on all the units and what they do. It is also really hard to tell the poor icons apart. TLDR: ok concept, bad impl. waste of time
The game is fun at first, especially expedition mode. But after 6 chapters you are stuck playing the main game. No real strategy. Arena is a joke. Players that challenge you have twice the experience. It's a game with who has the highest level troops wins. I did spend money on this and deeply regret it. Do yourself a favor and don't spend money.
WEAK, WEAK tech & customer support! Game is very repetitive but I was enjoying it and made a purchase and spent a lot of time playing. Suddenly, my account lost all my progress, heroes and armies. Tech support after a few days got back to me and offered 500 gems and an apology. That would take maybe 15 minutes to get that- I had been watching ads, and moving past lvl 1000. I had done all the Xmas stuff. They said they also would add back any "real money" purchase I had made. Uninstalled.
This game does not use an interactive environment as shown in the ads. To be specific, the ad shows the ability to choose your route around a mountain range, and avoid possibilities such as being crushed by falling rocks, playing specific soldiers on specific paths. This is only done minimilistically, allowing players to select a general path, but with open fields and no such diverse options as the example provided. I'd be willing to change my rating if this were even slightly improved.
The expedition mode is by far the best part of the game. If i could find a game that is that only, that would be my go to. The problem is there are only 5 levels and the 6 has been "coming soon" for so long that i stopped playing the game. How about release some expedition levels and keep me into the game. Changing my rating to 1 star because they have done no update of value in this game. Promised more expedition levels and did not deliver. Uninstalled as off today.
After playing the game for 6+ months I can say that despite what the devs say they will quietly nerf heroes, that their objective is to create a system by which the games you play for gain are rigged entirely against the player. The concept of the game is good it’s just another tragic story of a company that simply can’t get past scamming their own players. People quit this game all the time once they realize it’s a scam. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to not get this game and play it with the intention of getting anywhere with skill alone in any reasonable time frame. I spent very little mostly just the monthly VIP pass and ended up finishing mid 3000 range in pvp every season. It takes hours to find opponents I can beat because as your army levels up they force you into fights with players who have spent 1000$s of dollars and the possibility of losing is so great it just isn’t fun anymore. You can spend 10s of 1000s of gems which take weeks to slowly build up and not get a single serious gain for your army. I would rate this a -10 if I could it’s simply a greedy company and the devs spend so much time on these reviews lying to the people who submit them, if they would simply stop trying to deceive customers and make a consistent realistic fun game they would make a fortune on subscriptions. Sadly they’re just going to milk as many suckers as they can and then they’ll make a new garbage scam. Rinse and repeat Hello, sorry for the negative experience. Misleading ads about this game. Update Re: Developer Response; I actually had installed and played this game previously. I downloaded it similarly because of the ads about this game made it look fun and interesting. For what it's worth, I enjoyed it to some extent, but found that playing without watching ads endlessly made the progression too slow. For me it, it became to take too much of my time to watch ads - but that was my choice. The other choice, I suppose, would have been to have progress grind to a crawl, so instead I just chose to uninstall the game. Recently, while playing another mobile game, the ad for Art of War: Legions came on showing gameplay that seemed of interest to me (and me forgetting the name of the game...), so I downloaded it. I was disappointed to see that it was the same game I uninstalled previously. I'm not one to just leave a terrible review without reason. In this case, I was put over the edge when I already knew and had played the game for quite some time - and knew certain sure that the advertisement for this game was misleading. I would have been pleased as punch to try out the game that was depicted, as I have already decided that the game here isn't for me. I hope that is a more enlightening and in depth analysis. I also have no inclination to change my review, because too many mobile games are doing the same thing. The "click-bait" ads have to be curtailed. If you want me to have fun with your game, show me the game you've made - not one that is some sensationalized fictionalization representing one tiny aspect that doesn't accurately reflect the user experience with the game.
Played this game for a couple months and really enjoyed it. I was up to level seven troops and several legendary rank two or three heroes and one rank four hero. I had spent about $40 over the couple months I played until I purchased a pack and my game crashed. I logged back in like I do when it crashed during battles and random other times to see if my purchase went through. I did receive half my purchase if you consider three epic troops worth $2.50 which is complete garbage. I played clash of clans and marvel contest of champions for years and just grew bored of them but over the years I spent thousands in game but never got ripped off. I was only a few months into this game and lost $5: I contacted customer support several times and they gave me the run around telling me that their records show I received a legendary troop and my gems lol because that was the wrong pack I had bought the day before idiots wasn’t even looking at the right pack, so I chalked it up as a loss and moved on to play something else. To be honest the game was already growing stale because of the mindless battles over and over again with no tactics whatsoever just who has better troops. Anyways I never write reviews and I know this is lengthy but might save someone time and money. So to sum it all up just move on there’s better games with better customer service. I'm not sure why companies trick people into playing their game with false advertisements but this is definitely one of them. Ads make it look fun and challenging, and then you play the game and it's like nothing in the ads, not even a little. This game is trash and not even worth downloading. Wish there was a way to get the time back I wasted on this game looking for the levels and content in the ads. What a bunch of jokers!!!
So, I have few issues with this mobile game. First, where is the challenge at? There doesn't seem to be one, it is super easy to win which is very boring and does not inspire me to open it up. Second, I think allowing the player to choose the units they want to draw instead of making it random would be healthy for this game. Lastly, the cost for new this is ridiculous! How can you expect me to fill the board when the cost up by each draw and I have to combine smaller units? Could be much better
False advertising! Seen the same add 100 times so thought id try it. The add shows you running with troops and having to run through a wall type thing that either (+,-,÷,×) troops. You know the one we all saw that made us decide to try this terrible game. Game is absolutely nothing like the add. If the game didn't suck you wouldn't have to trick people into downloading it.
There are too many prompts to watch an ad or Make a payment. (edit):Didn't expect to get any feedback. i'm leaving my review as is, plus a few more problems. the game was advertised (as usual for mobile games) to have mechanics not present in the real product; i.e the ability to encircle the enemy and convert their forces. In response to the reply, I am not able or willing to sink that much time for that many more matches to unlock the higher levels of units. in conclusion this game was especially irritating for me, and I wouldn't rate it as though i had any feeling for the experience but regret for my time lost.
Misleading advertising, completely boring unimaginative gameplay. Uninstalled after 3 minutes. I would gladly play a game like your ad. Pathetic soulless money grab. Enjoy supporting droves of 'customers' under the age of 12. NOT A GAME. Study the game of Ur. It's made of rocks. And far more interesting. 👎 EDIT: If you have so many ads that greatly differ from your product you cant keep track of them, I suggest you rethink the ethics of your business model. This is not 'good practice.'
