As a landlord, this app makes creating a listing, scheduling viewings, screening tenants, and signing leases sooo easy. So glad I found it!
This was our first time using Zillow! We have had quite a bit of interest! They make it easy to use the app and it takes some of the weight off your shoulders!
Amazing free app for property management, best out there since it links to the powerful Zillow advertising platform. Can't believe it's free!!
THE VERY BEST EXPERIENCE FOR LANDLORD AND TENANTS. I can't possibly say enough good things. It's easy to use and the organization for everything is under one app. The application, background, credit, documents, leases, emails, amd more. Every detail is right there. Trying to organization 100 potential applicants is exhausting, and somehow Zillow made it easy. Had my property rented in a week. For the renter just as good. One low fee and they can apply for multiple properties.
Using Zillow Rental Manager is great so far. Easy, lots of options. I paid $30 for 90 days with extra listing features. I'll update after it rents!

Zillow Rental Manager Makes it easy to put your property online for rent with photos, descriptions and amenities that make your property a great place to live. Then you can manage within the app all inquiries, Zillow Rental applications and give the person who you will rent to notice that they have been approved. The interface can be confusing when finding previous conversations and replying to them, but overall such a great service for property owners and renters alike.
It's off to a good start, but far from complete. I've had several people email me saying they have requested showings, but non of them are showing up. I wanted to upload a virtual tour, but apparently that's in the ios format only 🙄 At least give me the option to add online, but the desktop version pushes you towards the app. The metrics are skewed. I don't have a way to ignore my ip address. If I share the link, it logs my view as a metric as well. Just very frustrating.
The app works pretty well. Unfortunately, every time I want to use it I have to go to Google Play, do a search for it and open it from there. I haven't been able to find another way.
Good app but the constant need to re-log in as well as the Simplify Your Rental Process screen before getting into the Applications section is super annoying. Please keep us signed in and eliminate that screen.
There is a bug where pressing the back arrow in a chat brings you back to the home page instead of the list of chats. Pressing on the Chat tab goes directly to the conversation
All inbound leads have disappeared...after paying weekly!!??! where are all my rental inquiries? ever since I started paying $10 \ week, all of my leads have disappeared. I usually get 2 to 3 a day depending on my pricing. I have been using this app successfully for 5 years...what the hell is going on here? UPDATED : Tech Support was pretty responsive and tested to make sure the app was functioning as it should. My market has softened a little. Still clunky communication...3 *s for now.
Wish there was a way to delete old applications and inquiries from prior lease terms, can only archive (or spam), so the communication volume is excessive. More importantly, the credit report piece is frustrating because I don't want to provide my social security number to be able to access somebody inquiring to rent my property! I never do the credit reports anymore because of that reason, and how the social security number is much too private!!
I'm so conflicted. This is a great way to list your property. However this app, and even the full web versions need some help. -Messages.. Everyone selects a time they would like to tour.. WHY? In a hot market I need to know more about the candidate first. Also managing messages can only be done 1 at a time. I've learned to do everything via email. -Applications.. Great to get credit and background check.. The only option in app is to accept?! No way to reduce the number of apps.
Can't view applicant documents. It just spits me back to the main menu when I try to click on credit check, background checks or any income documents attached.
So frustrating that rental application credit scores and background checks will never load in the app. Always have to go to a desktop. When we get a lot of applications, it be nice to do a quick review to know if they are legit prospects or not without having to remember to go to a desktop later. Seems like a basic function that should work yet never does. Android 12 and latest app version.
problems with payments/collection -- you think you've collected the security deposit. Tenant, however, can pull back that Zillow payment at any time without landlord input! So, the security deposit (or any other payment) is taken from your landlord bank account with no warning or recourse!
Great idea, but difficult to use. -App buttons don't always respond. -I invite someone to apply and I don't see that the invitation has been sent. I log out and log back in and see that some how I sent multiple invitations. -Composing a reply to an inquiry, the only text visible is in a slim one line box. It's very difficult to edit. -I click on the email or phone number in the application of a prospective renter and I get an error message not a direct link to call, text, or email.
I just downloaded the app tonight. I have been trying to create a listing for about an hour. First I never received the verification code in my email, I tried three times. So I used my phone number, which did work. Then I selected pictures from my photo gallery over and over. I keep getting a message that something went wrong. I'm very frustrated and on the verge of giving up!
