Zen Color - Color By Number

This is by far the best coloring app out there. As a new mom, this helps to ground me and it's great stress relief. The ads are not intrusive, only appearing before and after you open a picture to color, and if you want to "buy" hints, which definitely come in handy sometimes when there's a teeny tiny 3 pixel section somewhere. My favorite category is "mystery" which is just a completely blank canvas that you uncover by coloring, no line art. I've already colored every single one of them. A+++

I love this sweet game! No pressure, no stress, all zen. I love the playback feature, so I can see my progress and watch the design come together. There are pictures for almost every taste, although I'd love to see some that have a little spooky, dark forest vibe. Beautiful music, your progress is always saved, and you can have several pictures working at once and work on whatever fits your mood.

PLEASE, PLEASE stop adding in features that pop up messages while you are coloring! First I saw them showing up based on your progress (50 colors, etc) then that went away, and later there were even more obnoxious popups if you take more than 15 seconds to tap a color or something. That went away. But now it's back in a worse form! I hate this feature. PLEASE remove it and keep it off or at LEAST give us the option to turn it off! For an app all about relaxing, it's not relaxing with popups!

Ads are ridiculous. Not fun anymore. I just started playing this game about a month ago. I instantly loved it until 2 days ago. The ads are ridiculously long now. That royal kingdom ad in particular is almost 3 minutes long. By then I'm done. Not relaxing. Not fun anymore, especially if you accidentally click on something you didn't want anyway. I think I'll move on to something else.

I decided to give one of these coloring apps a try. I think I saw this on YouTube or IG, so advertising dollars well spent. 😎 At first I found this frustrating because of the ads bumping me out of my picture and me having to try to find it again, about 3 times each, so I picked two different apps to try, but ultimately paid the $10 for ad-free, and now I'm happy with it. It is relaxing. I can watch 0 crime and work on a relaxing painting...a little incongruous, but it works for me. 🤣

uninstall it! I colored part of one picture and took a break, when I tried to color again I could see the partially finished pic, but when I clicked on it to color all I could see we advertisements and there is no way to get past the ads. I tried many times, restarted my phone but nothing would allow me to continue painting. I thought I'd pay for the app, but it only gave me a price of $9.99 and didn't say how to cancel or whether that charge was for a month, a year or a 1 time pay. Deleted!!

I enjoy this app, but I would enjoy it more if there was an 'undo' and 'redo' button. I'm extremely particular about how the animation unfolds, and it's discouraging to make a single mistake, and the only options are to live with it, or restart the picture entirely. The app drains my phone battery really quickly. I find the ad balance is acceptable, an ad before a picture, after a picture, and if you navigate away from the app and come back. The one-time fee to go ad-free is reasonable.

I love the pictures. I love doing them. I have two issues. Number one, I NEED an option to rearrange the completed pictures. I try to group subject matter and color match together in panels of 6 pictures, but sometimes I see that a certain picture done 6 pictures ago would be a better match with a more recently completed picture. Fun coloring program with lots of variety. It's worth buying the no ads option if you like it a lot. They use their colors - you can't choose your own. They recently added a pop up that says good eyes. it is worthless because it comes up regardless of whether it's hard to see. it counts how many of them come up. also worthless. I find it annoying and in the way of the picture. I also wish the icons could be left off for using the stylus because it is easy to hit accidentally.

I enjoy this "adult coloring book" when trying to fall asleep & listening to audiobooks. I don't usually use the music included in the app, though - it's not the best & very repetitive. I wish there was more variety in the music. Also, a lot of the ads are quite loud, intrusive, & jarring. Some ads are a couple minutes long! But most of the time, they aren't long. The issue is more the jarring, much louder sound associated with the ads when you're trying to relax. I still love the app, though.

EDIT: Ok, I purchased the premium as I like the app and should not have any ads now. So boosting to 5 stars, and will only downgrade again if ads still show up later. I like the app but the ads, OMG. If there were timers and/or an X after a ceetain amount of time, I could swing it. And I would pay for premium, but I need a guarantee I will never see ads again. A single ad and I would demand my money back. Other apps have done that to me and it is damn near criminal.

This is actually one of the best coloring games I've found--I've tried around twenty by now--and I use it daily. I also love that it's a one-time inexpensive purchase to permanently remove ads! Most similar apps want $5-6 a WEEK, which isn't a reasonable subscription fee. It's easy to use with lots of great pictures, but challenging enough to require the occasional hint. My favorite is the Zen collection!

I really enjoy this coloring app. However, I downloaded this because it was advertised as "NO ADS" and yet I get one when I click to do one, and one that follows right after. You accidentally click the back arrow and try to open it again to continue the picture and guess what.... another ad!! This is so annoying and frustrating

I love this app! Relaxing, fun, beautiful pictures to color. One reasonable purchase to get rid of ads forever. Backgrounds are fun and calming. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that there is no Undo button. It may sound silly, but I like to color in a certain way to control the animation, and after one mistake, you have to either live with it or restart the whole picture. It would be very nice to undo instead. Or maybe have an eraser/clear color option?

I enjoyed this app for years, but have been experiencing a serious problem for several months. Last night, I spent well over an hour on a very difficult Art Challenge puzzle and was nearing completion. A strange ad popped up that I could not get out of. Finally, after several minutes, I closed the app. When I opened it to continue coloring, almost all of my work was simply gone! This was not the first time this happened! In great disappointment and with a heavy heart, I deleted the app.

SO AMAZING! This is the ONLY game App I play! The one-time small payment is VERY worth it for an ad-free experience and supports the great App developers. It is so satisfying seeing the little spaces fill up with color. It would be wonderful to have some more butterflies and marine pictures so that those two category challenges can be completed. Also, some additional categories of Old Masters painters. I would LOVE to do some Monet, Manet, Renoir, Constable, Cezanne, Toulouse Lautrec, etc..

Relaxing. Plenty of options of genre, ranging from easy-difficult. Daily pictures. Most are lovely pictures with diverse colors. Personally, I'd love even more colors with higher counts! I love zoning out for awhile. Only get ads between pictures (i.e., color an entire picture without interruptions), and they're shorter ads. I've used this app for years now. Can't say that often about other apps lol Good job creators!

I love this game and am addicted. However, the last couple weeks, everytime I click the ad for 2 clues, the screen goes black, no ad and it freezes. I have to close it out completely and go back into it. The single clue works fine. 2025 update. I downloaded again and restarted. There are way too many ads and they are way too long. It's distracting and annoying.

I've used this app off and on for years. I paid to have it ad free. I saved my info so when I changed phones everything was there. I changed a few months ago and when I went to open the app and sign in everything is gone. nothing shows up and no matter how I tried to reach them, through the help center or Facebook, no one responds. I used to recommend it to others all the time. I'm so disappointed.

I love this app! I think this is the best coloring app I have found, and I have tried quite a few. I love the subject matter of the coloring pages. It's relaxing and there's never a shortage of pictures to color! However, I did remove 1 star. It just seems like 6 out of 10 pictures I choose to color are overloaded with Pinks! I get that pink has a lot of shades to use, but you don't need to load a pic with all pink, and not every flower has to be pink. There's WAY more colors can be utililized!
