The UX is great, I find it very intuitive. I also really enjoy playing with the estimates: how would my retirement age change if I bought a house, saved more money, etc. The app is *almost* gamified, and I notice that it subtly presents the idea I'm doing better than I am: adjusting the time frame for investment payback can dramatically change the the reported return rate on investments. All that being said, it's very easy, I think it gives a good overview, and is a good additional investment.

Almost perfect, but lacking a few key features when compared with any other "bank": 1. You can't open a joint *checking* account. 2. You can't transfer money between cash accounts. 3. No integration with Zelle. Also, as a modern bank, I would expect them to offer "real" 2FA choices (e.g. authenticator app, yubikey) but sadly here is just like every other US bank. Another thing I don't like is your IRAs can only be robo accts, despite them letting you open self managed brokerage accts.

Cannot speak on the investment portion as I have just started but I definitely DO NOT recommend the cash high yield account. I had put money as an emergency in tere and when I went to actually use it with the debit card they provide you. They locked my account! I had to submit ID to verify myself which failed. They said it could take up to 2 business days to unlock my account! I cannot recommend their cash account because you can lose access to your money and they cannot unlock 🤦

Have been using Wealthfront for a few years now and have always loved their interface. However the most recent update makes the UI worse, I preferred the previous UI. You can no longer see your deposits vs account value at a glance. Trying to see the information on the graph at the very edge of the screen causes the app to go back (swipe back on android), and my finger isn't small enough to get to the edge from the middle. The TWR & MWR have become paragraphs instead of numbers at a glance too.

This app has saved my finances. I went from struggling to pay bills, to having a good chunk of money set aside for when I need it. My problem was always remembering to put money into savings. With wealthfront, I don't have to remember because it automatically comes out of my checking. Not to mention the interest rate is better than any bank around. I highly recommend you give this a try as your usual savings account.

Used the website; it's beautiful. I exclusively used this to deposit my savings. One day I withdrew within their daily limit and found out a few days later my account was closed with no notice. Customer service is atrocious. Sent two emails last month, ignored. Sent another last week, ignored. Called, told me they closed it, can't help, then hung up on me. Emailed again trying to open it, they dismissed me. Awful experience. 01/11: "top notch" is a lie. One month later and still being ignored.

Overall very intuitive, adding external accounts from WF was fairly easy but others like USB were a bit more painful. The mortgage tracker isn't current and it won't allow me to update it, but I'm not using this app for mortgage tracking so it's barely an annoyance for me. Transferring cash into / out of the account once your banks are added is exceptionally easy and reasonably expededient, typically well within the 1 - 3 business day window of most financial institutions. Would recommend!

You transfer money in (or set schedules), they invest into the ETFs at your risk level. Or, you can pick the % of the individual ETFs, and they will automatically balance your portfolio. No more sitting down and trying to figure what I should sell to replace. You can even see what you put in, and what its growth is. Save up for big payments. Set up for retirement. Super easy interface and history breakdowns. I wish I could ask it to add in individual stocks, like TGT, though.

Great to see my accounts in one place. love the net worth calculator and predictions for future retirement/spending capabilities. only issue with the app is that it's not very easy/intuitive to renew links with external accounts. I wish I didn't have to renew as frequently, but I understand the security aspect of it. the app can do better in the renewing process. Right now it's unclear that you have to click renew and prompt the text and then exit and click renew again to enter the texted code.

Does what it says it will, particularly, a simple way to set up a high yield saving account. What's even better, is that it tracks my cash and investments across various accounts. 4/5 stars because it does not initially let you deposit checks by photo until you've moved some secret amount of money into the account. There's also a digital debit card that I was not granted access to immediately, but did eventually get again after meeting some secret criteria. More transparency is needed.

4 stars for the app. works great with many nice features. However, the APY is no longer even competitive with other online banks. They sent and email after the fed rate drop explaining that they will have to drop just the minimum amount necessary, but the other banks will surely drop even more. I've been watching other banks since the drop and there are still many 2.4+ options available.

An extremely user-friendly app for account management. The UI is easy to navigate around. It is simple to transfer money in and out of the cash accounts and the automated smart transfer to put them in different categories helps organized your budgeting and spending needs. The money transfer, though, could be a little quicker, as it takes a few days for me to see the transferred amount on my account. An enormous benefit is the high yield savings you can use to hold your emergency cash.

It was easy to set up the account and start the investing, but I removed a star because I think the interface could really use some work. I started a general investment fund but they treated it like a retirement account. I wanted to set a different withdrawal date and finally figured it out, but its not very intuitive. Also, I would love to see more stats, which stocks and bonds I'm invested in, how it does day to day, how much I've gained since inception, etc.

It's setup is really easy and helpful. Something that caught me off guard was that the transfers take a day or two to be finalized and accounts updated, but at first I want sure if it had bugged out or calculated incorrectly. Just make sure that if you've never done this before, you're patient and wait a day or two after every move you make to let the numbers fully update. Otherwise, it's been a great way to get into investing.

Used this for a year. App worked great on Monday and on Tuesday without notice, they must have done an update, and now it doesn't work at all. It's incompatible with my phone. Mobile banking would lock me into updating the app, which of course, doesn't work! Banking on a desktop computer is useless to me. Immediately moving to another online bank for better rates and to be able to access my accounts on the go. Definitely would not recommend any longer.

Great service, exceptionally low fees, basic dashboard to keep all accounts together. Terrible UI for modern features. It's got categories, great, but not a way to lock them, or to sort them like a playlist, it just goes by amounts. And what's worse is users cannot directly deposit money into categories which becomes a nightmare when using it as a debit card.

Easy to use and now with the added 'categories' option, I can distribute my savings for easier viewing and know where I'm at with each savings goal. I love the updates and transparency on savings percentage changes. Since my initial review, I have added an investment and retirement account through them and it's nice to have almost all my accounts in one place. I have and do recommend using Wealthfront.

Nice user interface and very simple to use. Linking accounts and changing information is a breeze, and the times I have needed to reach out to Support they were helpful and friendly. Most of the app features are really great too, and the platform overall is great. It would be awesome if you could schedule transfers between categories within the Individual Cash Account but it is easy to go around that. I have been using Wealthfront for over a year now and am happy with it!
