I have been a TracFone customer for 22 years and everything has been fine until two months ago. This app is totally worthless and stopped working. Nothing works and you can't access anything. When you try to access your account and try every option you just get a "log in failed" dialogue box. You can't reset your password or get your balances for minutes and data because the counters have disappeared. The website doesn't work and the My Account app doesn't work. Fix things!
I am honestly impressed at how bad this app is. Tracfone's system is completely terrible. They bill to imaginary credit cards and then tell you to contact the bank. The app will also send a confirmation notice of successful activation BEFORE processing payment. And the chat support can't do anything, they basically waste time and then eventually tell you to call them. It's a complete disaster. And oh yeah, the app offers plans that don't even exist anymore. Need more character. 500 too small >:(

I have tried all the login approaches to no avail. It seems that I am not alone. TrackFone please fix your app! I have no time for chat rooms, just fix it. Thank you.
Recently this app has stopped working for me. Requiring me to log in with email or phone number, but it no longer recognizes my email address and password. Every time I call to fix a problem They say they will fix it And they don't. My app does not work. Since they were going to add minutes now there is a bug on my phone. They will add minutes and then they don't. And then I call back I have to explain the problem twenty five times and they still don't fix it. They just keep putting me on. Hold over and over and over again. And I have to keep explaining the Same problem to them over and over.
App use to give me access to my information about how many minutes, texts and data I had left. Would let me refill with a pin, ect. Now the App won't work at all. It keeps saying my account is -INACTIVE- . I've tried Uninstalling it but that didn't help. Hope they can fix this quickly. I really need an app to manage my minutes/ data/ texts.
Be careful!! Someone used this app and other apps to steal EVERYTHING on my phone and sell it on the dark web!! Somehow they found my info using this and other apps and I have not been able to secure my phone since. I didn't receive phone calls or messages because EVERYTHING was redirected. They even stole passwords from my keyboard!! I can't call out either and I need to dispute the charges to my credit cards which are temporarily closed bc they don't know what happened. I'm disgusted!!

I've been with tracfone for many year's but that will soon change. They need to hire qualified IT's. It's been like this for several week's. I would of liked to gave it "0" stars.

Of course the card is nonrefundable, so I'm just out that money then? The agents "act" like they're sincerely there to help you but they have an easy-out requesting alternate number to reach you at in the event we're disconnected. It's funny they want a number to call me at, why do you think I bought a phone genius?! Worst experience, 4 days no help at all. Wth

Can no longer get minutes, data, or text messages remaining with latest version. Simply continue to get a message that the operation is taking longer than expected and to try again later. Have restarted, cleared data, etc. multiple times over several days and nothing had worked. Update: released new version that worked for a few days, but stopped working a few days later and still isn't working. Horrible app developers.
Deplorable service, and apparently they just take the money that's to be applied for phone service and then do not provide the service. Of course the card is nonrefundable, so I'm just out that money then? The agents "act" like they're sincerely there to help you but they have an easy-out requesting alternate number to reach you at in the event we're disconnected. It's funny they want a number to call me at, why do you think I bought a phone genius?! Worst experience, 4 days no help at all. Wth
Like so many other, I have also not been able to log into the app. Cleared data, uninstall and reinstall, chat with tech support. Chat was not able to help and they scheduled someone to call me. They never called or I missed the call. With the number of recent complaints about this problem, it is clear that they have introduced the problem and their response is always to chat with support.
This app has good on my account for a few years. Last week suddenly wanted a username and password. Tried putting in info, but always fails. This app SUCKS!!! Even called tech support. They tell me either we have a problem with our system, please call back in 24 hours or there is some problem with our system. I will call you back in 10 min. BUNCH OF B.....S..... Just want to get rid of you and eventually you'll stop calling them!!!!
seems app is broken, login issues. I think the failure is I logged in, but it still asks. I close the app after login failed & when I reopen app & I am logged in, immediately shows account details without logging in again. Whatever changes you've made in past several months has broke the app, too much hassle to use anymore. The website is more stable.
Today, 7-19-25 I tried logging in to my account yet again. To my surprise it won't let me. I'm prompted to type my password and the same thing happens over and over again, can't log in! I'm really hating this app right now! Also there had been an update, so I updated and still can't log in. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same luck, so I restarted my phone and STILL cannot log in! It's very annoying. And doesn't even deserve a one star
I've been a tracfone customer for 5 years or so. I've always used the app to refill my service. But it has been impossible for a couple of days now. It keeps denying my debit card. I checked with my bank and they said my card us fine. Tried again today ( 4 times) Still denying my card. I've talked to customer service several times with no help. The last call to customer service I was on the phone over 30 minutes. Call was gone and still no help. This is ridiculous
I am honestly impressed at how bad this app is. Tracfone's system is completely terrible. They bill to imaginary credit cards and then tell you to contact the bank. The app will also send a confirmation notice of successful activation BEFORE processing payment. And the chat support can't do anything, they basically waste time and then eventually tell you to call them. It's a complete disaster. And oh yeah, the app offers plans that don't even exist anymore. Need more character. 500 too small >:(
I have been a happy TracFone user for more than 10 years, and I have used this app since swirching to a smartphone. However, now whatever I do it keeps saying there is an error. I have tried all the login approaches to no avail. It seems that I am not alone. TrackFone please fix your app! I have no time for chat rooms, just fix it. Thank you.
Recently this app has stopped working for me. Requiring me to log in with email or phone number, but it no longer recognizes my email address and password. Clicking the forgot password button sends nothing to either of my email addresses, tech support has tried to send me a link or temp password and nothing comes to my email inbox or spam folder. I have spoken with customer service 5-6 times over the last 4 days, they all try to do the same thing and it never works. I spent 2 hours of talk time!
Will not let me log in to my account. Says unexpected error has occurred. Customer support cannot fix the problem. UPDATE: Can log in but often cannot see device balance. Error message says "Your request has taken longer than expected. Please try again later." The app is no good if I can't check my balance.
Having the same log in failure issues as several other folks. Have tried uninstall/reinstall several times. Also, tried log in using phone#, e-mail, Sim id, etc. Nothing works. I've been using this app for several years and it's always worked great. Please help. Update: Thank you Frank, I don't know what you did but, the app is back up and running.
Every time I call to fix a problem They say they will fix it And they don't. My app does not work. Since they were going to add minutes now there is a bug on my phone. They will add minutes and then they don't. And then I call back I have to explain the problem twenty five times and they still don't fix it. They just keep putting me on. Hold over and over and over again. And I have to keep explaining the Same problem to them over and over.
App use to give me access to my information about how many minutes, texts and data I had left. Would let me refill with a pin, ect. Now the App won't work at all. It keeps saying my account is -INACTIVE- . I've tried Uninstalling it but that didn't help. Hope they can fix this quickly. I really need an app to manage my minutes/ data/ texts.
Be careful!! Someone used this app and other apps to steal EVERYTHING on my phone and sell it on the dark web!! Somehow they found my info using this and other apps and I have not been able to secure my phone since. I didn't receive phone calls or messages because EVERYTHING was redirected. They even stole passwords from my keyboard!! I can't call out either and I need to dispute the charges to my credit cards which are temporarily closed bc they don't know what happened. I'm disgusted!!
I have been a TracFone customer for 22 years and everything has been fine until two months ago. This app is totally worthless and stopped working. Nothing works and you can't access anything. When you try to access your account and try every option you just get a "log in failed" dialogue box. You can't reset your password or get your balances for minutes and data because the counters have disappeared. The website doesn't work and the My Account app doesn't work. Fix things!
I haven't been able to open the tracfone my account to check my usage and to make a purchase. I've spent day's, hours and my minutes on the phone with a rep. and they don't seem to know how to fix it or even care if they lose customer's. I've been with tracfone for many year's but that will soon change. They need to hire qualified IT's. It's been like this for several week's. I would of liked to gave it "0" stars.
