The app doesn't load and it was a nightmare trying to subscribe. It kept saying that my payment was canceled. The only way to fix the issue was to go to their website and subscribe from there. Some of my favorite audio creators are here but then the rest are bad, cringey, have short audios and terrible audio quality. Waited for so long for this app to be available on Android to be let down this way. Disappointed 👎🏽.
When you download the app, it says nothing about needing to pay. You need to click on the app's description, to see that you need to pay for "unlimited access" What that really means is downloading the app for free, but paying to listen to anything. Nothing is free and they don't ask you to pay, until you've already downloaded the app and made an account. It's super deceptive and very aggravating.
I want to give 5 stars but can't because..... Whenever my phone connects to my car's Bluetooth it starts playing and I don't know how to get it to stop! No matter how many times I quit the app, pause, the audio, etc it automatically opens up and starts when I turn my car on. Luckily I haven't had anyone else in my car yet but it keeps happening!! There's no settings button in the app and when I click the app info it doesn't give me an option to turn off automatic play. Please help!!!
I originally had written a review stating a major glitch that wouldnt close the app out fully and they fixed the glitch today! I have tried for 10 minutes to be able to "edit" the original review but it doesnt allow me to do anything to change it. No options to edit or even delete. I am sorry to Quinn for that because I wanted to change it to 5 stars because the content is really good. Definitely room for growth because of all the different kinks 😏 but I am loving it right now! Thanks Quinn
Update (9/5/23): Individual playlists were a game changer and I am RUINED in the best way. Lots of excellent updates. My only minor note: maybe a sleep timer? Sometimes I'm asleep before I turn things off... Content is really enjoyable, and the features of the app are great. Someone mentioned that the buttons on the side can be hard to maneuver, and I'd agree. There's a decent amount of diversity of voices, although I wish there was more NB content for my NB buds, instead of for just women.
So far, I'm REALLY enjoying this app. Nothing phases me visually when it comes to making me blush. But apparently audio is my thing! I will say I wish they would copy a portion of how Spotify does their app when it comes to organization and the ability to filter. Not to mention I love being able to click each song and either look at artist, album, songs like that, etc etc. Some cool customizable features to think about.(:
Free download? Yea right, you're allowed to download the app and that's it,unless you pay to subscribe the second you open the app you can't do anything. Yea I see it's a free 7 day trial but only if I give my info to subscribe either monthly or yearly. There should be an option to log in without subscribing just yet and offer at least a chapter for free for a few books to see if we want to pay for it.
I've had Quinn for like 5-6 months. It's okay. I'm able to find things I like and don't mind the subscription. The problem is that it randomly deletes my subscription every couple of weeks. I had the same issue today. It's also not lost on me that my subscription conveniently got deleted right as the price when up 🙄
I made sure to close out of this app when I was finished listening. Although the app did not show it was running, it came on full blast in my car when my phone connected through Bluetooth. I closed all of my apps again and switched over to spotify. When I went to skip a song, it skipped to another audio from this app. Not very discreet and considering the quality of content, not sure it is worth the money either.
Quinn is truly a game changer for women (all genders) exploring their sexuality. The variety of audio experiences available makes it easy to find something that resonates with you, whether you're looking to explore new fantasies or simply unwind. The quality and range of content are exceptional, providing a safe and comfortable space to decompress from the stresses of the real world. My personal favorites are Cavern Kingston & Naudio. 🎧 Highly recommended! Buy the year subscription and binge.
The app's description says "Pay for Unlimited audios" and "In-app purchases" when it should just say Pay to use the app. There's quite literally nothing up here for free, not a trial audio or anything. The only thing you can do for free is download the app but besides that, you can't do anything else. With the way it was described and advertised, I assumed you could listen to some things for free and better things for money, but you actually can't listen to anything without paying.
I don't have much experience with this app, unfortunately. You have to pay for a subscription to get ANYWHERE. There is 1 audio available for free as an example and it's so cringe. Maybe not cringe to everyone but it definitely fills a specific need and it wasn't mine so it was very nauseating to listen to. Men with weak voices who embarrass easily? No thanks. When that is ALL I have to make my decision on, I'm going to go with no. There should be a much better way to test drive this app.
Feel taken advantage of -- and not in a good way: free trial available through the app after the website required a purchased subscription despite advertising a free trial as well. I've tried listening to a few audios and it isn't for me: would've preferred to try one or two audios before paying, especially as it seems like some people are still able to do this through the app. Wish I'd tried the app before signing up via the website! As far as the app itself goes, it was difficult to navigate.
I've been really excited to try this since I found it on Instagram but until now it's only been IOS. The selection of audios is still very good and there's some great wlw as well; it's small right now, which is fine since I know it's growing. My only complaint is often when I go to pause it, and I get a notification or open another app, it'll start playing again, which obviously you don't really want to advertise to everyone what you're into. I have to completely hard quit the app to prevent
Love the app and the content once I found what I like (slight trial and error there but that's natural I think) biggest thing I wish the app had would be is notifications for new audios of your subscribed voices. (I've searched and searched to be sure I didn't miss the option.) If you don't go on regularly you could find that there was new stuff you've been missing out on which is a bummer. But otherwise VERY happy with the app!
I love this app. I love it because of the variety of voices and storyline. Also, they upload new audios twice a week. So you get something different every time. The audios have made me more aware of what I like and what are my needs. I become even more confident in expressing myself to my partners and I thank the people at Quinn for that. So go download the app and get your Quinn on!
Great app! It glitched every five minutes or so but I would just exit and re-open the app and it would work. However there's no, 'My Account' section on the app. So when I went to cancel my subscription there was no option to do so and I ended up paying the $4.99 before I could figure out another way. That is my only complaint
I generally like the content of Quinn. My only qualm is that there needs to be a better option for filtering/searching. Currently, the search function only allows for one tag with no further options to choose from. I don't want to manually and individually sort through a list of 50 results that are all over the board just to find something that I like. It's enough of a hassle that I'm going to cancel. I hope this is resolved at some point, I'd love to resubscribe when it's less disorganized.
Don't get me wrong, I love the app...but it's super laggy when you first open it, doesn't let you look at audio details for a minute or two, doesn't give you the option to start an audio from the beginning, and it sometimes just closes out after a while of not being on the app (I sometimes like to be on other apps while it plays or simply turn my phone off and play, but it closes out). Other than those issues, it's wonderful.
found out about Quinn through this lady on Instagram last year, who was talking about steamy audiobooks, loved the app so much, I finished the free trial, and have been paying for a subscription, ever since. 5 stars UPDATE: took away 3 stars....didn't know about the price change, I been paying $4.99 since last year... now this app has become like every other app. guess cause of inflation, kinda bummed we didn't get a heads up, on the price going up ....

Love the app and the content once I found what I like (slight trial and error there but that's natural I think) biggest thing I wish the app had would be is notifications for new audios of your subscribed voices. (I've searched and searched to be sure I didn't miss the option.) If you don't go on regularly you could find that there was new stuff you've been missing out on which is a bummer. But otherwise VERY happy with the app!
